A school for the cursed: A Psyker Quest. Warhammer 40k quest.

Is this a common view in the Imperium or is it more like each Segmentum shits on each other for one reason or another, but no one can give Ultramar crap because of Roboute?
Pretty much every Segmentum likes to think that -they- are the ones holding off the big threat, or guarding something truly important. Ultima Segmentum doesn't really have an equivalent.

Those were some good rolls we had.
Thankful for them. This... is a problem we should be glad to get forewarning of.

Wonder what combination of talents and skills would allow to recognize jean stealers? Telepathy + Divination? Damn, we are not getting that. Oh well, murdering Carnifexes with our mind alone will have to suffice.
Also, pursuing pyromancy just became a greater priority. We add fire to that black hole and we can set a nice little sun on the battlefield. Perfect for disposing of rogue biomass.

Also, I am for the dogmatic option.
I'd rather spend Iconoclasm on systemic changes.
It's 40k. Willingness to kill is something useful here to keep as reputation.
This is a systemic change - we are demonstrating in broad daylight (such as it is) for all to see that Occam is merciful even when he's not required to be.

We can leverage that so hard.

As for detecting genestealers, Biomancy and Telekinesis.

Telekinesis sonar can detect bulges from carapace growth and extra limbs and shit. If focused, it can detect internal changes in biology that aren't immediately visible.

Biomancy? If they have any kind of diagnostic ability that goes beyond the obvious, they will immediately detect a genestealer hybrid that's not a fresh implant, and even freshies might be caught when they notice extraneous growths.

[X] Drive them back.

Genestealer detection is a thing the Imperium already does with Psykers. Its just that any Broodmind strong enough to detect from a great distance, is also one that is really strong. Genestealers can hide their psychic presence.

Terra had a Genestealer Cult which had gotten quite big before it finally got big enough for Terra's psykers to detect their presence.

[X] Destroy the attackers

To keep the Iconoclast Disguised as Dogmatic they do need to be balanced carefully, we cannot afford a slip into pure Iconoclastic action just as we cannot afford to fall into Dogmatic. Needs must as they say.

Pretty sure biomancers could find a genestealer so long as they know what they are looking for and don't classify them as just another mutant. The other issue with that is a biomancer would probably have to be closer than a telepath to pick up the infection.

@Mayto I am mostly a stalker here, but if I might make a comment... the whole nature of Nautilus and Odium seems somewhat unexplored right now. I mean, the adventures right now are not so different from an underhive somewhere else? How about diving into the oceans, collecting rare lifeforms to study and/or make familiars out of! Trying to leanr from or tame the natural behemoths that lurk in the waves. Doing some lavabending or heatbending near the warm parts of the ocean, etc.

I also want a psychic squid as a familiar, floating in an array of anti-grav skulls.
