It Belongs to a Museum

All of these go fucking hard.

Uncle skelly: "And here are our paintings of Neferata when she was 5 and learning to ride the first time."
Lahmian tourist: "This is blasphemy."
...
Lahmian tourist: "I want a hundred copies."

Who says we stop at ONE Vampire exhibit, we shall have them all!!! Blood Knights, Von Carsteins, Vampire Coasts, Barrow Legion, and most important of all the Lahmians all entered around OUR amazing niece!! (And we will mention she's our niece in like every other sentence)
And they will all make it very clear why our darling niece is superrior to all those other people. :V

Now, now Ushoran was also our nephew.
And what an utter disappointment he was in comparison. :V

I don't know if that's true, can't find anything about it. Also just realized that he is that amazing AoS figure!!! We definitely knew him though

Liver Necris states that Ushoran was Neferata's little brother who stole the elixir and took it during the times of the cult of blood. While some of the details may be vampiric propaganda Manfred would have no reason to lie about that bit.

Had assumed that Imprudent Tutor would be an auto-pick for me, but the lack of self-awareness turned me off. If you're spreading dark knowledge for shit and giggles then you should own it, basically.

Student/Legionary didn't really stand out beyond the archetypal knowledge-seeker/imperialist in their mid-life immortal life crisis, feeling meh on them.

History-Maker of Nagash sounds too spiteful while lacking redeeming features, helping to orchestrate the rise of Nagash for the sake of revenge, too much baggage.

But the Hunter/Survivor/Last Firstborn all have juicy backstories with compelling personal motivations that makes me want to read an entire quest of Boney exploring their character arcs. They have unique goals and backgrounds that's ripe for adventure - reviving dead Gods, reuniting lost loved ones separated due to Divine shenanigans (*cough* @Omegahugger), or Vampire Hunter working for an insane Vampire Lord.

Some leftover typos @Boney:
The court of High King Thutep, Khatep's son and successor, was almost wiped out by an outbreak of plague. Those that remained were almost all part of Nagash's cabal.
Khatep -> Khetep

The strange tribesmen of the from the Sinking Marshes of Khernarch were receptive
'of the' vs. [from the]

and when he took advantage of the chaos and unrest caused by the spread of the Blood Cult to sieze power and name himself High King
sieze -> seize

The oldest of old men.
[X] Imprudent Tutor
Sounds like a joy to read (and might know Harkon from way back)
[X] Hunter of the Cult of Blood
I just think he's neat

One thing I also like about Impudent Tutor is that he seems like the option most open to learning things just to learn them, even if it is outside his goals/interests.

Like, out of all these characters, Tutor seems like the one most likely to make an hour-long video essay detailing the difference in depictions of Bastillodon Mating Rituals in plagues from Pahuax compared to ones from Quetza.
Don't forget the joy we will get from meeting our niece and being able pinch her cheeks and talk about how big and powerful she's gotten and how it's been far too long since she came to visit us

[X] Imprudent Tutor

He sounds like the exact sort of fellow to work with the Vampire Coast, silly but deeply dangerous.

In addition, we simply must embarrass the leader of the vampire Illuminati by showing her baby paintings off to the world. We would be a failure of an uncle/mentor if we didn't!

As far as I understand from the Wiki, Neferata is still alive and has a network of spies?
I wonder if, being her old ally, we can establish correspondence with her? She will probably be interested in launching her information networks in the chaos that will arise after the appearance of our museum.

Both of these would be very cool.

I like my giant statues too so..

Sorry, but kicking Nagash in the balls is always a worthy goal. (Also indirectly a pro-Skaven position so of course I'm voting here)

Unfortunately, if Neferata comes to The Awakening herself, there's a decent chance things are currently exploding and we need to keep our precious piles of notes on pre-Imperial vampire tales safe.

Being even more fair she is probably not going to, if there is one thing consistent about her it's that she doesn't like to travel. She hasn't moved from the Silver Pentacle in the millennia since she took it.

Maybe we can visit her instead.
At the minimum there probably will be younger lahmians we can treat as our great greagreat grand nieces or something.

All options could make for cool and interesting quest protagonists, but I like those best as museum curators. I can picture all of them excitedly explaining exhibits that match their particular interests, which I think is what I want to see from our protagonist the most.

Normally I would agree. However in this specific circumstance we are not a ruler with armies. Or an advisor who can borrow his boss's armies. Or an adventuring hero who is an army. As such our ability to kick Nagash in the balls is… basically non-existent. The character would be curating the museum not as a means towards their goal, but just as a side project while they wait for an opportunity to get back to doing what they actually want.

In contrast the bumbling teacher seems like the sort of person who actively set out to find a museum with a 'help wanted' sign outside. Or just wondered in, started giving exposition to everyone too slow to run away and people just assume he is the curator.
