Well, you're playing team skull in that quest and actually we had like the hammer bros if I remember correctly and other various characters, somehow it was related to dimension traveling. But it's on hiatus/abandoned.

From what I've seen, (I've been ignoring the Snively convo, I could not care less about the man,) they expect him to join another King and get them to attack us, and would rather he be where they can see him.
No. He won't. That's the entire point of the trait.

To play devil's advocate for a moment. He is a good Hero, who synergizes well with us, and will provide a buffer for if our first choices are hurt, doing missions, or so on. If we get this man a piloted battlesuit, he can actually contend with our best power heroes, and he's almost as brilliant as us. On top of that, if we don't recruit him, we let him loose into the world, where he will presumably work for someone else instead.
I seriously don't get the logic here. Why would he be anywhere near where we expect him to be the moment he betrays us?
And we'll probably get more heroes from the other Egg Bosses or the Grand Masters from the Dark Legion.
Honestly i doubt the faction he'll go to would be able to match us, cause the shattering gives us a opportunity to improve our badniks now.
Pretty sure he'll be running away from us before we can strangle him, plus he can use decoy robots to get away as well.
