I wanna point out that we CAN do write-in traits; we have to okay them first oc.

but I think there's alot of potential to make good use of that.

We've added a decent number of those to the list already but they haven't been as powerful as the obvious growth traits so are taken less often. Regardless, you're more than welcome to add some more traits.

Plan: Aenerion

Just draw the widowmaker and kill the dragon!

Innate:
1= Danger Sense (+1C, less likely to die)- Nurma tends to be able to react to danger slightly before others, a very useful survival trait.
1=Combat Instincts (+2C)- Nurma has an instinctive understanding of combat, and how to win.
3=Genius of the (Sword) (+5C, +50 to rolls with weapon, more likely to get weapon traits, +5 Standing (Avernus)) -Nurma's natural talent for her chosen weapon is comparable to a master's honed skill.
3=Combat Genius (+6C, +5 Standing (Avernus))- Nurma has an innate talent for fighting considered uncanny even on Avernus.

Probably not kosher write in Innate:
7=Paragon Trait: Doomed - Increases combat score in proportion to the degree she is outmatched. Increases physical parameters with the degree she is cursed.

Acquired:
1(3)=Skilled (Swords) (+2C, +10 to rolls with selected weapon)- Nurma has notable skill with a particular weapon.
1(3)=Expert (Swords) (+3C, +1 (Martial), +20 to rolls with selected weapon)- Nurma is an expert in the use of her preferred weapon
2(4)= Bushman Training (+3C, +1I)- You were trained from a young age among the bushmen of Avernus, those brave communities that live outside the heavily fortified safe regions.

All of that for a piddly 47 combat, bleh.
Fun to play around with tho!
Edit: 45 combat! Shameful.

I'm pretty sure the skill-traits don't stack---the higher level ones (Expert vs skilled, etc) replace the lower ones.

Do we not have a backlog of mechanicus actions?

...oh wait, no; thats right, we have a backlog of TRANTH actions....
Mostly yeah. Theoretically, she could do a solid forty percent or so of Mechanicus actions but they aren't valuable enough to justify the blow to our Standing and the political issues that can come from a Mechanicus governor especially since the only benefit other than being able to do research really is being able to fully integrate the Mechanicus during the duration of the quest for post quest RP reasons.

Stacking trait growing traits is really powerful, and this time we wouldn't be having the soul of the person in question slowly exploding out of themselves.

So Shard pointed out that for my build I could drop Diplomatic Genius, Gets Technology, and Gets Magic to pick up Prodigy and Gets People. Effectively trading 2D, 2L, and the relationship bonuses for 2 M, A, W, I, and +7 prestige. I would also then be able to save 1 point on the pen in acquired traits and pick up Educated in Magic/Sciences to get the 2L and one of the reputation bonuses back.

So the net change would be -2D - one relationship bonus, +2 M, A, W, I, +7 prestige.
I'm not sure if that's worth it or not largely because Will and I don't seem worth much of anything to us, and M and A aren't worth as much as D for a Diplo focused build. But it is still a lot of extra stat points overall.

However there's also piles of narrative around the innate traits that we don't fully understand. Being a few times in history Prodigy might convey benefits beyond being a mere Genius that's a Genius at Diplomacy, Gets Technology, and Gets Magic. Or it might be the latter is better narratively. I don't know, and I'm open to people's thoughts.
