Lin Gui does not tackle War. She does, however, skid to a halt in front of him dressed in a black and white jester's motley snd her creepy ass mask.

Well, it's Spirit as mentioned, and no chance on getting to Jade without an intervention of some kind.

I was unaware that I needed to do this but it does make sense thinking about it, that there's an actual benefit to tempering your organs to begin with.😅

I think I'll put it into fortune.

Interlude: Harvest Preperations

    • The villagers all thoughout the province are beginning to harvest the fields of spirit grain along with other crops and animals. Soon it will be time for the harvest festival when they praise the Laughing Mountain and his wife the Celestial Rabbit for their good fortune.

    And that means its time for another interlude. Just like before pick one simple thing for your character to do. This isn't a mechanical action just an opportunity to write some fluff and ask questions about the setting.

    -[X] With their freshly enhanced Soldier senses, Gan Jia finally feels ready to crack open the Cauldron Inheritance. They use the Cauldron within to brew a potent elixir out of their peasant dream weed and sap they harvested from the red dew flowers. Once that's done, they add in a bunch of chopped up roots, veggies, herbs, and pheasant meat, and let it simmer until the festival proper. The final product is a perfect showcase of all the skills they honed during their Peasanthood and the best offering to the Laughing Mountain they can think of.

    - [X] Now that he is a Soldier Rank and really started on the steps of Cultivation, Hawk decides to celebrate by following his Path and spending more time with his fellow Disciples. He doesn't really mind what they're doing. He particularly tries to find Li and Lin again. He's certain that the training the three of them did contributed to his Breakthrough and he'd like to honor them.

    -[X] A moment to relax in the form of playing music with their fellow Clique members during the harvest Festival. Whilst practicing for such upcoming performance, also get to know the twin pheasants that will become their lifelong companions and help their fellow Clique members do the same with theirs. It's just a big happy coincidence that everyone in the Clique have pheasant companions of their own as well...

    -[X] Some of those "Young Masters" that Tan Bo met invited him to a party. There was something said about inviting some of the greatest young talents of the sects participating in the tournament. Tan Bo is fairly sure that their information must not be that great if they're inviting him but not more impressive Red Dew Disciples, such as Wuyin, the Twins or Sword 2. But free food is free food.

    -[X] Cheng Nan shall create a rudimentary (very rudimentary) living creature from their own biomass, to be sacrificed to the Celestial Rabbit at the harvest festival. There are no ethical concerns about this. Cheng Nan is definitely not still half mad from the torture isolation array. The Celestial Rabbit govern fertility, and is this not... technically under such a thing? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
