Solar Auxilia Officer Quest. A 30k Early Great Crusade quest.

I'm not sure why this one is an option as it seems just more machine version of the previous option, and one that cannot be improved from its current state. Out of all of them, this has the least appeal.
They're the same.

Its the same creation, just either with a thumb on the fleshy scale, or on the metal one.

[X] Plan Long Life

Secures our own personal safety while working on growing our 'brand recognition' amongst imperial nobility. It does have the lowest overall impact on our familial fortunes, but frankly I'd prefer for Herrand to live over the mega-fortune to tick up by a few extra percent.

Also, hehe, I'm tickled pink by the amount of stuff taken from the omake. Do love me some French not-Old Guard, augmented and given armour that costs more than a good size villa.

Something regarding Terran Technology I want to show, is that it is better than what the Mechanicus has. But it is mostly artisanal, and does not involve much if any mass production.

Mars meanwhile has most of their technological base mastered, and can rapidly expand production.

But a straight up synth bodyguard made from the ground up? That's not something Mars can make, and the Terran Tech-Clans who can are hoarding the knowledge.

Makes sense, I mean the Emperor is noted in canon for having cabals of scientists who work on the really 'I can't believe it's not Tech Heresy!' stuff for him. Things like the Warlord-Sinister Titan, the Custodes and some of the more naughty stuff used by the First Legion had to have come from somewhere after all.

And I bet it really tweaks the Mechanicus' nose that these guys exist. Especially groups like the Terrawatt Clans, who themselves were a Tech Priest enclave that went native.

Let's not forget that the entire Astartes project and the Biotechnical Divsion were Terran scientists through and through.

I mean post-heresy Mars more or less subsumed all other scientific organizations the Imperium had into themselves so I am wondering if we can do anything to prevent that.

I mean we can keep doing what we have been doing with our family's facilities and spreading out the production to other worlds. Might not do much but it is something that can hopefully butterfly in the long run.
I still think the greatest impact we can have is on shaping the doctrine of a legion, lessening the Emperor's need for Mars however slightly, or giving the Emperor more time to work with since that is arguably his greatest constraint.

Could have been helpful to have troops with training in rooting out alien or unnatural elements of subversion, but that was passed up so we are going to have to look to alternatives.

And here's a supportive vote, since this one seems the most French out of all of them.

Not have a civil war that kills 99% of Terra's population?
Holy shit, 99% of Terra was wiped out. Fucking hell, never realized it was that bad.
