We have the time to not take Phantasmalfeline this week right? Thodora and Elise seem very pressing so I dont want to leave em out to dry but im concerned abt bond points

Fundamentally it depends what Greatly Increases actually does, and the effect that shoppint has. Renne needs 6 BP to reach Bond 3.

If a Greatly Increase is +2, and we get exactly one more out of buying a cat nest, then Bonding every week gets us +5 - not enough for Gym 2, but enough to get after one action on the second FE.

If Greatly Increases is +2, but we can buy two more, Bonding every week gets us to Bond 3 by the end of Week 3 and given that Arvis tends to put action resolution order in our favor that means she's on the team for both Gyms.

If Greatly Increases is +3, however, we would then only need two Bond events (so week 2 and 3 would work). This is the only case where not finishing Phantasmal Feline this week would be safe if we want to have Renne along for Gym 3 without potentially having to spend 2 actions during the FE (either 2 Renne bonds or Renne Bond plus another shopping for a bonus item).

Personally I am a play it safe kind of person so I'm sticking with voting for Phantasmal Feline this week and buying Elise some apology sword polish.


Also, quite frankly, it sounds like Renne's rank up to Bond 2 is going to advance some personal stuff for Mary, and I want to see what happens there.

Honestly the fact that it says END for Phantasmal Feline make me wonder if there was more to it.

Honestly I could get behind our future involving being great at fighting if in large part to fund buying bonding gifts for all our pokemon and classmates

She's either going to join the Imperial army (douche faction) in a very tragic extended subplot or fine us a million pokedollars for being late. I'm unclear on the reference still.
