Because you have to obey the Emperor and you cannot democratically decide to tell him to go take a long walk off a short pier. That is by definition a limit on democracy. There is no getting around the personal rule enforced with copious amounts of propaganda. At the best of times the IoM is an military autocracy that allows some local delegation of power. Being forced to pay the tithe in resources is in fact not democratic, having to send out people to die in his wars even more so.
It called taxes mate, single worlds cannot defend themselves from the threats of the universe. And if you think you should be allowed to not pay taxes, well every government in the entire history of existence would take issue with that.
[x] Democratic Republic
[x] Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune
I'm voting for the commune because that's what I'd prefer but I don't actually mind the republic option. (I can also live with the cybernetic collective, if only for the "Mars getting pissy that we're out-doing them" department)
It called taxes mate, single worlds cannot defend themselves from the threats of the universe. And if you think you should be allowed to not pay taxes, well every government in the entire history of existence would take issue with that.
You do not know how but it does. The Rebel + Illumination + Enlightenment is why Lorgar is the only Primarch, who can currently purchase/train Mythos Powers, rather than have them grow in due to adversary.
In a META sense, Mythos archetypes and Aspects are a description of Lorgar's character.
Same for the other questions. You do not know but I have hinted.
How Lorgar define his philosophy? Is there a end Goal like moksha if nirvana or it more like Salvation concept of Abrahamic religion? Does collective godhood for humanity is end goal?
Does lorgar consider Chaos as God or his definition of divinity is different?
How Lorgar view universe and position of humanity in it?
How Lorgar define his philosophy? Is there a end Goal like moksha if nirvana or it more like Salvation concept of Abrahamic religion? Does collective godhood for humanity is end goal?
In all honesty? The First are things I am having fade into the back as I will freely admit that I am not good enough to write that in detail and do it justice.
As for Goals, that is for you the players, to achieve. With what has been written in so Far, it promotes the potential of humans and that while gods and godlike beings exist, they are not inheriently superior or worthy of worship, just by the nature of being Gods.
It is very close to the Imperial Truth in that it promotes reason and logic, but does not shy from addressing Gods and Spirits.
I sm wondering if I write omake to elaborate of his philosophy will it be canon? I most interested in Buddhist and Vedantic Fremework which focus on realizing divinity of one's soul. That along with Boddhisattva and hint of just war against demons. I think this quote explains it perfectly.
"Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divinity by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either by work, or psychic control, or philosophy - by one, or more, or all of these - and be free. This is the whole of religion. Doctrines, or dogmas, or rituals, or books, or temples, or forms, are but secondary details."

I would have to read it to determine if it is canon or not. I also do not want one person to define it as I feel Lorgar's belief are things that sould be voted on.
That said, even if it is non-conon, I will still use parts of it in any Philosophical debate Lorgar has if it leans close to what people have currently voted on.
If you want an elaborate philosophy, then the best way would be to STUNT it during a vote. You still have the next turn where Lorgar has to explain his beliefs, so You can both make an Omake and Stunt what you want then for it to be taken.
Colchis - 831.M30 After weeks of intense debate and impassioned discourse, the people of Colchis stand on the brink of a new era. Lorgar, with his unwavering conviction, has laid the groundwork for a deeper understanding of Machine Spirits, arguing for their right to be seen as more than mere tools. Thalassa's reasoned arguments and Dharok's pragmatic insights have helped sway the hearts and minds of many, but the path forward is still fraught with uncertainty.
The old ways of fear and distrust towards thinking machines are deeply ingrained in the society of Colchis. However, the vision of a future where humanity and Machine Spirits coexist in harmony is beginning to take root. The people are divided, some are ready to embrace this new paradigm, while others cling to the familiar safety of tradition.
As the dust begins to settle from the debates, the people of Colchis now look to their leaders for the next step. How will they proceed in this delicate moment of transition? PLANETS:
Colchis: Advantages: Active Worldspirit and Lesser Spirits: Allows the Training of Shamans, who are a far more stable form of Psyker. They do not roll perils of the Warp on the Planet and reroll any failed Psyker rolls out of the planet. They can also summon spirits with Sorcery to aid them in combat, gaining Weight enough to max Summoning, Warding and Binding Path.
Unlimited Resources: You can build as much Resources nodes and Factories on the planet as you want, ignoring the planetary Resource cap.
Anti-Chaos Wards: The Worldspirit.....did not like what Chaos and the Shard of Winters did to it. So it is fighting back against all attempts to subvert it. Due to Dharok's involvement and influence, the Worldsoul will actively target any one and anything he declares as "Evil" and any Shaman of the Worldspirit does agg damage to "Evil" and Chaos when calling upon the Spirits. In addition, mechanically, any attempt to subvert the planet done in orbit or on the planet by "Evil" eats a -5 penalty. List of active "Evil" Targets:
-Chaos and Chaos corrupted entities.
-The Shard of Winters.
-Mindless/enslaved Undead.
Awakened Machine Spirits: All technology made in Colchis and in its orbit will have awakened Machine Spirits. They can range from as smart as a Dog to human intelligence. They can actively resist any takeover attempts from AI and daemons and can better interact with the user.
Exalted Shaman Librarians: You have one thousand Space Marines with True Faith 7, Enlightened Essence, who can use Exalted Sorcery like Fan Morgal and are beloved by the Spirits. They are a Resource you cannot recreate as the Godstorm has passed. You can create new Space Marines but not as blessed as the one thousand.
Technology of Mars: You have resurrected billions who live in hundreds of cities which are filled with technology that can only be found on Mars. This will need to be mastered if you want to make full use of it.
Turn 8: Reward: Automate Space Marine Training. I will roll a d10 every turn and you get that many recruits. This can be improved with more gene-seed or Thalassa actions. Reward: Basic Planetary PDF. Your Planet has a permanent defense force that replenishes itself. This is the first step to create an army if you want to unify the neighboring planets. Reward: Heads off any AI scare and also sets a good example of how to integrate with active Machine Spirits. This gives the Machine Spirit an intimacy for Humanity and integrates them into the Workforce, boosting Production rolls, adding +10 for good events and -10 for Bad events (Rolled annually). Reward: Set up a unified Government for Colchis. This allows you to get started on MACRO level projects beyond forming organizations or maintaining infrastructure.

@Yzarc What sorta effect of various rituals invoked upon planet and population? For example can we incorporate part of planetary mythos like Anti-chaos trait and Affinity towards technology for the population as an inborn trait same way as catachan produce certain type of humans?
