[X] June Peng

You get 1 qi passively every turn. You can meditate to gain your stripes worth of qi in addition to that.
So the meditation takes the action but it's not necessary, cool.
Is there a difference in specifically saying that you're cultivating and performing an action that would basically be the same thing depending on the type of cultivation? Oh and can I spend qi on my current action to just do it better or something not sure how that works either 😅

The main mechanical use for meditation is to turn your gathered insights into an enlightenment. (9 to 1). [Corrected]

If you're cultivating then you should specify. Otherwise I will probably interpret it as training whatever you are doing.

You can spend a qi if you have gotten a tempered heart.

The main mechanical use for meditation is to turn your gathered insights into an enlightenment. (11 to 1 I believe).

9 to 1

Hey so I'm going for a Monk background but I know they worship more the universe then religion so would their teachings focus on keeping your place in the universe?

Probably? Monks can also be seen as teaching virtue and balance with the universe as seen as they help with funerary rites to peacefully send the dead on their journey and connection to spirit beasts.

War is desperately rushing to arrange his gift for Shufen before he heads off for his mission when he spots a disciple who seems like they would have gotten along with Sum. "Hey you, this is yours now don't sell it but you can give it away if you don't want it" @BadAtScreenNames you recieve a perfect grade steel rod (baseball bat) covered in dried blood and permanently scented with forest fire ash and grief.

"REALLY?!"

Gui's eyes sparkle with joyful glee. She cradles the bat like a newborn child.

"Senior. You honour me. How best may I repay you? Perhaps you wish to ravage my young and nubile form in acts of carnal depravity, over and over until you are at last sated and I lie dead on the floor?"

She stops. Considers.

"Or perhaps I might bring you tea?"

Name: Wan Tian

Description:

At birth he was given the name Wan Tian, that of heaven.

He was the sixth son of a monk family that wished for five, yet he was treated the same as any other.

At age five he discovered the world, the earth and its people, that the requirements of the mundane while tedious had purpose, as did those besides himself.

As a more sedentary branch of Monks they were taught that all things had their place in the world, carefully made and not to be overly disturbed. That balance was the basis of all creation and there would only be joy and prosperity by fitting into one's mold.

At age 10 he discovered that he was not named after the Heavens that his father worshiped, but rather was named by the Heavens that existed above them, that which his mother loved.

The skies were his freedom, in a world where things would continue as they were and where every step of his life was measured out by its worth to the world, the skies ever changing, ever growing and ever expanding.

At age 15 he discovered chaos brought about in the form of man, for just as the heavens were ever changing so were men and this lesson he learned first hand.

He didn't know why there were cultivators fighting in that valley, nor did he know what they were fighting for; all he could see was the exchange of techniques and martial skill, the coordination of beasts with their riders and formations brought to power by the might of men. As men died and triumphed and roared out their truest acts in battle he found a new beating in his heart.

At the age of 17 he tore his eyes away from the Heavens, grabbed a sack and his martial handbook; the only possession he could call his own and set out to join the Red Dew Sect.

For if there was truly a way to go against the balance of the universe and if there was any way to grasp at the heavens he so loved, it was through cultivation!

Since their trade with Cheng Nan fell through on account of a peasant spirit meal being wasted on two soon-to-be Soldiers, Gan Jia decides to gift their Midwinter Coals (Clay Spiritual Meal) to their newest junior @Abensur instead.

After months of training at the same pace as those of his age in the sect Wan Tian found no rainbows covering his vision nor did his lungs breathe with the might of storms.

As he made his way out of the sect to clear his head he was taken off guard by the cloaked, wide hatted individual (@CedeTheBees) placing a highly Qi condensed meal into his hands and wishing his cultivation well with a tip of their hat.

It took him exactly five breaths before he returned to clarity and bowed a hearty thanks to his Senior.

Truly one's fortunes are determined not by the past or the future but by ephemeral moments!

Bingxi was almost leaving the Sect for the Qi Survey mission when her Senior Brother rushed out in the opposite direction they were supposed to be going.

A bit curious she followed his trail with her eyes, until he stopped in front of an female disciple, gifting her a ... Perfect Rod? Then Junior Sister loudly exclaimed about giving her body as repayment???!!!

Scandalized by what she heard, Bingxi kept quiet until she met with Stan Li and Sun Won... What the hell just happened?
