I will update the Character sheet tomorrow. Will have to go offline soon.

I knew going in that Corax would be popular but not to this extent. People really want to have him appear. Any reason, beyond how ironic and funny it would be?

[X] Corax, the Shadow:
–Master of stealth and tactics, Corax represented freedom and the fight against oppression. His determination to bring justice to the oppressed was unwavering.

I' choosing Corax because it would be hilarious, fits Lorgar's Rebel quirk and frankly I rather not Big E's number one suck ups guiding him and I don't like that gold fetish supermacist ass.
I not sure what you're trying to get out Corax just as much as any of his brothers fought in the Crusade with the emperor and still is loyal to him. It's almost like outside of Worlds brought into Empire he didn't care what governments the primarchs installed or really what they did with the planets in general so all of the loyalist primarchs have a Rosy view of the Emperor because they were free to install democracies or whatever meritocracies or Magocracies.

In the end if you really want to separate from the Emperor then you're not going to be able to get that out of any loyalist son. Lion was a monster wearing the skin of nobility, Leman a noble heart wearing the mask of a barbarian, Corvus a freedom fighter in the service of a genocidal Empire take your pick they all had their reasons to join.

He is a fully realized primarch so he is a really strong as a warp creture, he also has Rebel or something similar like Lorgar, he knows subterfuge which we need as Lorgar has diplomacy already and combat through martial arts and if we really wanted to fuck with Chaos this might be our best move, because Corax would love to fuck with daemon Lorgar.

Corax would be the best too show how evil Chaos Lorgar is since you know...he's been stalking him for 10k+ years lol.

All the loyalists were loyalists, the Lion was an actual suck up, almost as much as pre-Monarchia Lorgar and the less said about Russ' relationship with actual logical consistency the better

The lion is confusing. A mass of contradictions but the one and only consistent point of his character is that while Russ makes a big show of being the emperor's executioner Johnson was a monster I think he holds the record for number of xenosides actual genocides and the way he treats his own Homeworld in the active militarization and destruction of its natural life. While Russ makes a big deal of his veneer as a viking he is essentially for all intents and purposes a normal quote unquote man of his Homeworld essentially beneath Johnson's knightly facade is a monster.

The new book sons of the Forest goes to say he's 10,000 years of sleeping have given him new Perspective so they don't have to keep writing someone who is unapologetically actively genocidal and murderous in most ways then they put him against the essentially embodiment of Murder in the form of angron to show the juxtaposition it's actually a really good book but before his Reawakening there's a reason his chapter despite all their knightly trappings are the most paranoid most likely to torture, most likely to stab a fellow loyalist Marine to death chapter of any group of Marines. He's the reason that Space Marines are granted the title of Angels of Death.

How did Mortarion put it? They were all tyrants in one form or another, Loyalist and Traitor alike. Lorgar will receive perspective from both 40K Corax and 40K Lorgar, but it is to be hoped that Fan Morgal will help temper and shape Lorgar's own viewpoint in this matter, so that while Lorgar does not agree with his Daemon Prince counterpart, he does not truly agree with Corax either, not on everything.
