They do say the best defence is a good offence... the enemy can't attack us if they're too busy defending or trying to get rid of our status effects and stat drops. In the time they can't attack us that's when we attack more, set-up to attack more, or pivot to another pokemon to attack more from a new angle.

Fast and Furious!
Speed times Force equals VICTORY!

My only real complaint about Fast and Furious is that it is ultimately incredibly basic. There's no real strategy there, and Mariana has consistently been shown as a pretty good tactician.

It's a waste of one of our potential advantages for a tactic that will be so simple everyone worth being concerned about will already have a counter-strategy. Blitzing is effective, I won't deny that, but it's hardly a new or uncommon plan.

Plus I just want to see battles ending with the arena as The Desolation of Mariana.

I do feel that hyper-offense is done a lot in the pokemon game, so I am voting for the option that you can't really emulate in the games:
[X] Seismic Shadow

See the real beauty of Fast and Furious is that it isn't just a blitz, its also a rally race, where each pokemon sets up in preparation for the next pokemon in line. Building up a snowball of destruction where the opponent has to deal with status and debuffing moves, while our team is wailing on them, and then when we swap the next pokemon comes with a buff or advantage from the previous pokemon, the opponent is stuck with something so we have what amounts to a free turn, or ideally both.

It isn't as simple as it may sound on the surface. It isn't just speed and brute force, it's strategic speed and brute force that builds up with each member of the team sent up.

Edit:
Roland burns and infests the enemy, making them weaker, giving Drilbur an advantage in the melee she likes and lowering the chance of them beating on physically frail Renne.

Drilbur paralyzes the foe so Roland's speed is even more overwhelming and giving the toddling Renne a more even playing field she can upend with psychic flight and teleportation. Or she can create stones for Renne to use as ammo and Roland to use as shadow speedways, and both as cover.

Renne can weaken the opponent with her many status moves, set-up barriers to make her teammates more tanky, and later on even buff herself then use Baton Pass.

You say that as if that kind of preparation isn't something Seismic Shadows also does. It's just a difference of pace.

That's fair, at that point it's just a question of taste though. I personally would prefer to strike first and strike hard, it's hard to fight when you're being overwhelmed in my eyes. I'd just prefer a faster and more furious pace to our battles, so to speak.

Yeah, the use of status is very interesting and the main advantage for me of fast and furious over seismic shadow... but I feel like it has already been done before for anyone who has played pokemon: it is a staple of offense strategies to use status to cripple threats to your win conditions. In contrast to this, the way seismic shadow manipulates the terrain is more unique.

Will close vote in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Get any last minute rallies for either option out of the way or forever hold your peace

[X] Fast and Furious

Completely forgot to say anything during this update lol

Welp, time to invest in entry hazard tms, Stealth rocks and mabe spikes for Drilbur anyone? Once we get to Mezagoza were crashing into that shop with the force of a Teenage girl With a crush and imf. Complex with a goal! What that goal is? Who the F**k knows!?

We could always try to teach Drilbur electric terrain or something. Figure out how to riddle the battlefield with some zap traps.
