[X] Seismic Shadow
You say that as if that kind of preparation isn't something Seismic Shadows also does. It's just a difference of pace.See the real beauty of Fast and Furious is that it isn't just a blitz, its also a rally race, where each pokemon sets up in preparation for the next pokemon in line. Building up a snowball of destruction where the opponent has to deal with status and debuffing moves, while our team is wailing on them, and then when we swap the next pokemon comes with a buff or advantage from the previous pokemon, the opponent is stuck with something so we have what amounts to a free turn, or ideally both.
It isn't as simple as it may sound on the surface. It isn't just speed and brute force, it's strategic speed and brute force that builds up with each member of the team sent up.
Edit:
Roland burns and infests the enemy, making them weaker, giving Drilbur an advantage in the melee she likes and lowering the chance of them beating on physically frail Renne.
Drilbur paralyzes the foe so Roland's speed is even more overwhelming and giving the toddling Renne a more even playing field she can upend with psychic flight and teleportation. Or she can create stones for Renne to use as ammo and Roland to use as shadow speedways, and both as cover.
Renne can weaken the opponent with her many status moves, set-up barriers to make her teammates more tanky, and later on even buff herself then use Baton Pass.
That's fair, at that point it's just a question of taste though. I personally would prefer to strike first and strike hard, it's hard to fight when you're being overwhelmed in my eyes. I'd just prefer a faster and more furious pace to our battles, so to speak. You say that as if that kind of preparation isn't something Seismic Shadows also does. It's just a difference of pace.
