Disciples of Red Dew Sect (Cultivation Riot Quest)

Name: Do Mwin

Description: with a red unpatterned cheongsam it is clear to see that Do Mwin is not delicate, strength and minute scars built up from menial labour rather than anything martial, she remains dignified enough to at least not dishonour the sect, her black hair is tied up in a singular bun, her eyes are a shade of brown bordering on orange and her eyebrows are unplucked.

Personality: gruff, hardworking and focused but not an idiot, knows when to keep quiet to avoid trouble with those of higher status, occasionally makes jokes that fall flat.

Element: metal

Path: body refinement forging

Gift: heavenly fortune

Attributes:
Body - copper
Spirit - clay
Fortune - clay
I wasn't sure if the attributes were supposed to be this or numbers.
On the 2d20 I got 18 and 5.
The heavenly fortune gift boosts fortune not body, if you want body that would be the tough body gift.

Also at this point new disciples start with 2 tempered organs. After tempering an organ you get an attribute boost, so you'd have two attribute boosts to work with.

I know but I'm also not very good at character building so usually end up spreading my stats a bit while also intending to increase one specifically in the long term, I wasn't sure if I would need the other stats or not so I invested in them just to be safe.

Ah I think I see the confusion. All three of the stats start at clay. I believe there was a time at the beginning of the quest that only body did, but that has since been changed.

[X] Hanyi Huoshui
-[X] Action: Hanyi encounters an ant hill and spends the next month staring at it.
-[X] [Elixir] Not using an elixir to cultivate

[X] Wu Ji Nin
-[X] It is time to meditate on the cultivation journey so far and all the lessons learned at the sect.
--[X] [Qi] Use 1 Qi (not sure if applicable for this kind of action)

It's three to body, zero to spirit leaving it at clay and one to fortune from the gift.
It is three attribute boosts right? One from character creation and then the two added onto that from the tempered organs?
The attribute boost from character creation is Tough Body, by taking Heavenly Fortune you're putting the boost into your Fortune stat. Picking a boost at the start and then focusing it until Soldier is the only way to get a stat to Jade, which unlocks special benefits when you breakthrough.

It's only two attribute boosts. The increases are from all the players finishing tempering that specific organ which allows new players to start with them already done. The opening post's directions have only been edited to include the first tempered organ (eyes), as we've only had everyone temper the second (lungs) relatively recently.

This confused me because the character creation post says pick one gift and one attribute, having been made before changing it so that all attributes start at clay, I understand now.
I've gone and changed it to iron.

Welcome to the quest :) @AmeliaNyoom might I suggest if you don't have anything specific for this turn and just want to do something simple for your first turn, that you learn the red dew technique its the sect technique and it makes you a little bit better at doing almost anything including cultivating. Plus I don't think you can gather Qi just yet you need to cultivate a bit more first to temper your heart.

That's good to know, I assume the action is just 'learn red dew technique'?
