It was strange so to speak. At least Changjian Meinu thought to herself as she read a piece of Poetry that her sister, Changjian Meilu, bought from the Markets of the Jade Claw Sect. They happen to be performing musically on a certain day in the last week when they happen to overhear what seemed to be a typical 'exchanging of pointers' but rather than that of martial might and violence it was rather one with words. Or more accurately, one's own deeds in the form of Poetry. It was brash, barbaric in a way even, but the intonation, the 'rhyming' as Meilu seemed to refer, they somewhat just fit. At first, she didn't get it, though the second time and as the usual 'banter', another word from her dear twin sister, it was when it just clicked to the blue-robed guqin player that it sort-of reminded her of verses in a song should one simply add flair and music to it.
And now that she is reading said piece of Poetry, supposedly from a city that happens to trade with the Jade Claw Sect, and one that is obviously different than the one that the Jade Claw Sect Disciples tend to speak between one another, did the idea in her mind blossomed, a bit later compared to Meilu who is currently buying more pieces of Poetry in hopes of bringing them back for reference and souvenir for their fellow 'clique', another terminology for 'group', members who deemed to remain back at the Sect. Some worry was sent back as it seems something was currently happening back in the Sect, if the word in the letter sent to them by Putong Huang was of any indication and the latter was mustering their group to prepare in case the twins don't manage to return when an incursion occurs. Also, it seems like Putong Huang managed to continue their correspondence with their mortal brethren in Roaring Furnace City whom they made a survey along with testing for new potential disiciples for the Sect as well as of a group in Five Herb Garden Sect much to the chagrin of Meilu as it seems like the 'rowdy' group whom they traded martial pointers with last month. Perhaps their souvenirs helped a bit? It could be something else however too as it seems like some of the more Senior Disciples over there were paying attention to them, as is the ones here in Jade Claw Sect.
...Meilu then wrote what was within her mind with such newfound knowledge on a piece of paper:
Blossoms of the red dew
Wandering about the jaded beasts of claws
As both comes into accordance
...another piece of paper was reached and thereupon written:
Twins once of two elements
Given invitation by an ancient Goddess's song
To Seek the ethereal moonlight
...and finally, a third paper shared the same fate as the first two:
The guqins played by two
Whom observers and listeners pay attention to
A simple musical performance unfolds
..it was a shorter 'poem', a 'haiku' supposedly from a faraway place in the East, and Meinu continues to ponder where Meilu managed to read or know such information from, but it certainly worked and tickled some part of their minds and souls which seems to give way to another set of Insights, perhaps too many even as she and dear sister seemingly just receives what the Giant Hand In The Sky sends their way with open arms. Sighing to herself, she set aside the Poetry she've read with one hand, the other setting down the writing tool she used to write down the latest 'short poem' in order to rest. It seems like they'll likely be heading out soon, and the blue-robed disciple of the Red Dew Sect pondered in curiosity and wonder of where their Elder will lead their group next. They've only known of the Five Herbs Garden Sect and that of the Jade Claw Sect but it seems like they'll be heading out to a few more Sects which is new information for them. With such thoughts in mind, Meilu decided to have a short rest: it'll be a while before Meinu comes back from her trip with some of their group members after all...
