This makes it pretty likely we'll get SKLL 13 before FE1; hopefully picking Advanced Battle and another Trainer battle option will get Roland to badge 2 strength as well. Not got strong opinions on the name vote atm.

Oliver was Roland/Orlando's rival in the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne. With their current relationship and her eventual ability being Competitive, a feminine version of the name feels fitting. Also y'know, it's French. Maybe she's from Kalos?

So with detail, it sounds like the group of four will be exploring the south of West Province Area One and the group of five South Province Area Two.

We'll probably have the choice of both, and while the encounter lists for the provinces won't be everything (Scyther isn't in Area Two in the games) , they'll be a good guide, especially for rarer pokemon.

South Province Area Two: Eevee, Pikachu, Fletchling. If we find ruins, Gastly, Bronzor, Tinkatink are on the spawn list. Various other grass, Bug, and Field pokemon (Mareep is a good one)


West Province Area One: Mountains mean caves, which gives a small chance at various Psuedos (Bagon, Gible, Larvitar). Also some ghosts, and hopefully caves means Zubat. Mountain area also means fighting types - Pawni and Makuhita in S&V, maybe also Machop and others.

Lots of good choices to find, in short. Other people's opinion on where to go?

Out of the two I think West Province is the more fun one, also it has the Cave which might give us a Nacli which will be fun now that we're in the cooking club. Mariana calling over her Garganacl to shave off a bit of salt to cook with is a fun image.

Also just, West Province has the cooler mons, with or without rare chances. Including Salandit, the aforementioned Nacli, Mankey for Annihilape, the Pseudo's, and Charcadet.

Not that South Province doesn't have any cool mons, just less cool mons. Going by the same idea as Nacli there's Smoliv as well as Fidough, Applin and Bounsweet, for some reason I think a Shroodle might be cool but that's probably just me.

Pokemon aside, South Province has the Gym, and West Province has the Titan (if it exists yet) as well as Chien-Pao's sealing site which might be fun.

There are pros and cons either way I think.

    Just need to grab a Tinkatink and hop into the actual-not-Pokémon fight club.

    I'm definitely praying for Tink when we're on the field study. If the dice offer us one I'm taking it as a sign of Arceus & Aidios both approving of my hopes for Squire Mariana and going all-in.

    I've just realized how similar Espurr's situation is to Edelgard and Lysithea's in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Would people be receptive to using those names for nicknaming Espurr?
     
    So it seems Espurr uses some kind of 'true name based on your personality and status' thing for referring to people.

    I wonder if she already has one for herself.
