Usually I'd agree with Waffles on most votes, but on a character vote like this I have other preferred options. As much as I'd like to go with Jacinto due it being the best mechanically:

[X] Erika Furuwada: Pale face set in a scowl. Dark blue eyes with her long blue hair styled into pigtails. A worried looking Carbink trailing after her. Her white and pink cardigan, pink skirt and black leggings seem to be stained by an unknown drink. Your attempt at saying hello was met with an irritated snarl.

Erika has a chance to be a good tutor, even if it doesn't work out, we keep our concerned older sister shtick and also get some possibly interesting character interactions to test the QM's writing chops. Then, Nemona, I mean, c'mon. It's Nemona, we'll get lots of EXP. Does it help anything really or advance the plot? Not really, but we do get to see Nemona in this Universe and grind Battle stats.

A Pidove on his left shoulder, a Pidgey on his right, a Fletchling snuggled up in the pockets of the jacket he wore over his uniform, a group of Murkrow lounging on top of his luggage behind him and finally a snoozing Swablu nearly covering his mop of gray and black hair.

With an easy smile on her face, she greets you and Leaf as a maid around your age eagerly follows her and carries her luggage up the stairs. According to Leaf, she's a scion of the De Medali family. One of the Three Great Houses, de jure Lords of Medali and now Governor Generals of Porto Marinada.

Honestly Theodora option makes me think of Alisa more then Furuwada, although that might be because of the scary maid.

Theodora and Manuel together remind me a bit of the two more nobbish members of Trails of Cold Steel's Class VII, Laura (the knight in shining armor) and Jusis (the snob with a heart of gold and probably the inspiration for the Noblesse Oblige background given his somewhat fucked family circumstances). I'm more confident in this association than Erika and Alisa, but not 100%.

Ok so I had this thought after re-reading the Background options a couple times, but while the obvious thought of Noblesse Oblige is Jusis, y'know who it also fits pretty well? Musse. After all the most powerful of the Four Noble Houses in Erebonia is the de Cayanne's, and our Manuel here not only is from the most powerful Noble house themselves but also shares a common characteristic with the Musse, that being the green hair.

Vice versa might be true as well.

For me Theodora is more interesting, in part because she doesn't have any mechanical results listed.

I am also biased towards characters who aren't as immediately loud.

While I want Manuel to win, I will extend that to both the Noble options because I just really like the Noble characters honestly.
