Changjian Meinu once more pondered how can her Water-aligned Spirit Root may be of use offensively despite many sayings of 'a sword surging forward like a wave of water'-or similar as she glanced at the side as her sister Changjian Meilu managed to call forth a bit of flame to coat the bladed part of her sword and even sending a small ball of fire to engulf or explode upon contact, on the training dummies on this training ground opened for the Outer Disciples, at her will courtesy of the Red Dew School technique. Utility-wise however, Meinu was able to imbue a 'cooling' effect to the armor that came along with their swords, a paired gift along with the armors to those that attended said lecture by the Elder of Archives, allowing her even to wear it without much discomfort underneath her robes even now.
She was currently resting after sparring with Putong Hua with the rest of their group, a budding clique really, of friends as the Red Dew School Technique covered a lot of basic things. Anything more specific however is perhaps best to do on another specific Technique for it. Still, it was also a good time to practice and get used to her Rainbow Eyes Technique, a proper name now being coined to it after a few inquiries amongst their group that knows a senior disciple or two, as 'fogs' and 'mists' of varying colors are made more evident as everyone in their group seemed to be enjoying gaining a lot of things even with the Merit System being introduced some time ago. That certainly made Meinu pondered even more as to what tasks she and her sister can do to pay back the Sect for the two lectures they've attended so far.
Humming to herself as she returned her new sword back to its sheath, Meinu picked up a letter that she received along with her sister Meilu a few hours ago just before they headed to this training ground and started reading it from the top again. As the impromptu 'leaders' of this small group, it seemed another group of Outer Disciple reached out to them wanting to see if they're interested in collaborating a task together, specifically of making pills and elixirs. They've yet to send back a reply but after talking with Meilu and the rest of their group, it seemed the general consensus was mostly, if not at all, a 'yes'. Granted, they would need further details on this topic of collaboration first like where should they be getting the raw materials in the first place for instance? How will work be divided and most importantly of the end result?
Shaking her head after reading it over, the youngest of the Changjian folded the letter and pocketed it before reaching out to her sword once again and once more joined the rest in practicing their basics and foundation on swordsmanship. Their group were interested in taking the Caravan Guard task as it was a good way of most of their group's skill in social interaction and an opportunity to be 'bloodied' if the opportunity arises too. For now, this short reprieve is a circumstance she very well wouldn't complain about given things the things they are doing in practice for the sake of the future.
