what is the bonus of triangular over oval? Cause right now it seems like ovoid is just pure better than triangular
 
As I read it, the triangular frame might allow us to get freakier with the secondary hull, whereas the ovoid blends the two which might limit us on wilder options.

Verticality has been explicitly called out as a constraint on internals and/or major features several times, so I kinda want to try something to nip that concern in the bud.

The sensors are important but we can add extra capability later, it's generally harder to increase warp using internal systems.

The Ushaan was an abomination, therefore like any good necromancer we have to graft additional body parts onto it and create something even more terrible than ever before. The more appalling the design, the more powerful.
