Less is more, and we want to get out before Things Happen.

[X] You still have some things you'd like to do at the Hall, and you don't know if you'll be able to come back anytime soon. (Choose up to six, put them in order from most to least important. The more things you do, the more likely you'll be around when Things Happen)
-[X] Talk to Revisionists. You have a lot to tell them, and the sooner you can start fighting the bad stories about manakete, the better.
-[X] Meet with the other Heads of the Towers. Archmage Stormspeaker indicated that they have some questions, so you might as well get that over with.

The time-block voting is a weird and annoying format since order matters...
What's the alternative? People voting for all the things they want to do separately, and also the number of things, and the most popular number of things get done, starting from the thing that was voted the most? That would work, but it would be pretty awkward, and we'd probably end up with an itinerary no individual person asked for.

It's all a matter of trade-offs.

Since it seems like my name idea isn't getting any traction (unsurprising, I'm not too satisfied with it myself) I guess I should pick something else.

Alright, so as promised, here's the current tally.

Levinheart's actually got 14, as there's two votes further down that include Ryza's name, but Thunderheart and Sunseeker are still in contention.

As for what to do, here are the current frontrunners

There are others, but those are the ones that seem to have some momentum at the moment.

Thank you all for your patience with this slightly clunky vote: the ordering is important, as different things at different times can have an effect.

Changing my vote. I still don't really have an opinion on the plan, so just the name for now.
[x] Levinheart

A funny thought - in the potential future (decade or two down the line), Ryza's going to be very exasperated with people seeing her as Mistress Levinheart the Legendary Dragon Mage rather than Ryza the Friendly Neighborhood Manakete.

Nah, actually just twelve. I'd Approval Voted for both "Levinheart" and "Ryza Levinheart" just in case, 'cause i didn't want to check which one had more votes, and thus we don't wanna accidentally count my vote twice or something. Looks like Brainbow, the other "Ryza Levinheart" vote on the tally did the same.

[X] Sunseeker

I think Sunseeker is the best name listed so far, not a big fan of Levinheart myself.

What's the distinction between block and plan votes that you're trying to make?
What I'm attempting to say is that plan votes tend to be more organized, where things like the number of choices and the order of the votes have a purpose. This seems to be what the author was going for. While block votes are, in my experience, usually just a list of choices that people vote for. Maybe I'm mis-catagorizing it as something else, however, the case is that the voters did not appear to realize that the author was attempting to make a plan style vote for this interaction.

At any rate, I feel that this conversation is beginning to proceed into derail territory. Though that is likely my fault. Therefore, we should probably both disengage before we get too deep into it.

I am deeply concerned at the majority for not bothering to figure out what the Regent's plan is and just letting it trigger.

For me at least, Ryza isn't trained in proper spycraft, and I'm firmly against any kid's movie escapades against a man who would gladly see her discredited and/or dead. We've informed the head honcho wizard man who is as far as we can tell is taking us seriously, we've warned as many of the students as we could that have a stake in maintaining operational security, and most plans are voting to talk to other important people (the tower heads). We're in as good a position we can get without further risk.
"As much as it is against my nature; I will give you this choice: you can go to try and protect my son by warning Archmage Stormspeaker of the threat. He will not tolerate any attempt to undo Thundercrier's Compact; simply telling him what is to come should be enough for him to gather enough allies that even the Regent will have to back down.
And honestly, we were only asked to warn Stormspeaker. Artemis' Dad considers that enough to offset the danger. Which I'll concede is a major assumption to make about a villain willing to start a continental war against all comers (even if our interference already has him scaling things back to just the North. I think it was just the North).

I am deeply concerned at the majority for not bothering to figure out what the Regent's plan is and just letting it trigger.
Can't speak for the majority, but I voted against that not because I don't think it's something we should do, but because I don't think it's something we can do, at least not to a meaningful degree. I doubt Soaringhawk would suggest an action that did literally nothing, but by no means does that mean everything he suggests could fully accomplish its stated purpose.

There's such a thing as Bad Choices too.

Either he's a traitor and he's being Watched by the Archmage (Since I sincerely doubt he's going to be full out Blind Trust when the stakes are this high), or he's not and we don't want to draw further attention to him because he might be a double agent. Either way, Ryza meddling there is more likely to do harm than good.
