Star Wars An Officer and a Traitor (NO SV, you are an Imperial Officer and Traitor)

So easily dose resolve turn to madness. I wonder, will you spark become an inferno that will burns everything? Or will it become one that will help forge a better tomorrow?

[X]To the Alliance: You are going to meet with the other key members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

We gotta talk to our Allies. And hopefully nip any potential Problems in the bud.

[X]To the Corps Sectors of the outer Rim: You were honestly not going to expect much from these workers. But something tells you that you will be able to win the galaxy if you win them over.

...Honestly, the dice has put things in kind of a mirror of the clone wars. What with the Constantinists having the bastion of the mid and outer rim while Tarkin has set up shop in the core. Though they are still really different, what with Tarkin effectively holding the leader hostage , and finding home front support not as simple as he may hope. While this war may make the matter of empty treasury less of a crisis, the matter of unions is gonna be a major headache, that won't simply go away.

Though one problem we will have to deal with, is the fact Tarkin has a lot more industry in his territory than we would have, in much the same way as the Republic had in the clone wars. And the war machine is already in full swing given the policy of Palps, which is gonna be an issue we are going to need to deal with, though one we can mitigate through weakening tarkin's support, and creating problems in the home front. Though it would likely be harder than under Palpatine's watchful eye because Tarkin is more aware of the situation, AND is facing a peer opponent.

[X]Talk to Ahsoka: You are going to figure out what she wants... and maybe find out what you want in return.
I decided me being a fan trumps common sense.

I wanna be in the Meta plot!

Wether it's talking to the alliance, the workers or gathering our fleet, we should strike while the iron is hot. Ahsoka… can wait.

...How the hell is Tarkin keeping Palpatine imprisoned? Did Palpatine just let this happen so he could sit back and watch the galaxy burn again because he got bored?

At the very least, I'm surprised the Inquisitors haven't tried to break him out yet. Unless Vader took them all with him.

I think it most likely that Papa Pals saw he misjudged his purge, and is now allowing himself to be imprisoned to take a 'breather', reasses the situation, learn where people's loyalties lie, and then either escape and join those who reveal themself to be loyalists or start to 'grind' his way back up to the top of Tarkin's faction from within his prison cell. Whichever he finds more amusing.

One interesting way I have seen people look at at Palps is the view that he is at his best when fighting to gain power, and at his worst when 'just' living and using said power. Basicly: as a Sith chancellor he had drive, a goal, an immense hurdle to overcome. This made him great, "From Passion I gain strenght".
However, after establishing and stabilizing his position as Emperor, he lost his edge. His great goal, his Magnum Opus, had always been gaining 'Supreme Executive Power' and now that he had it, he had nothing to strive for but keeping his position. And that is simply not a goal that can inspire the same passion, thus he became far less. The Palpatine that turned Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader was a terrifying force of nature, the Palpatine that failed to turn Luke on the second Death Star 17 years later was a tired old man with some force lighting.

Honestly that is a very good question but since this is Palpatine we're talking about he's probably working a plan that would see Tarkin and his followers dead for going against him.

I'm not sure where Vader went off to but at this point in canon he was pretty obsessive about hunting Jedi and without Palpatine to order him around he might be off doing what he wants.

He inquisitors could be a mixed bag due the situation, some might be with Vader, some might be with Palpatine and some might run off to do their own thing.

I am wondering if we are nearing the end of "this" quest and Magoose will start a sequel quest.

By all measure.. we won our short term goal. The Empires thrown into Civil War and the galaxy burning under the fire of revolution. We managed to create a situation where we conceivably escaped the Moff position and can openly ally with the rebels now.

Now all that remains is what's left after the fire dies down.

Most likely.

For several reasons, I may want to make it a sequel.

First off: "Commander in Chief of the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Fleet" Sounds really fucking cool. I need more space battles.

Two: I mean, lets be honest here, having a quest where the Badass normals take center stage is both awesome and fun.

Three: Fuck you Papa Palps.

Oh you think that the Core Worlds are simply going to accept that Tarkins government...

You must be new here! :V

Do you hear that?

It's the song of the workers uniting.:V

And while the ideology of them breaking their chains does not exist yet...

It may come! And be a problem for everyone.

Actually, Papa Palps was...

Well, he thought he had more time to purge the navy with new and improved and fanatically loyal elements.

The problem is, he did the math wrong.

And Tarkin likes being alive, because well... He's Tarkin.

So... Tarkin did the only thing he could conceivably could in that situation.

Coup the Government and declare martial law and fight his way to end all the problems.

Two years later.

Moff Constantine looks at Coruscant and executes the Emperor. "Sic Samper Tyranus"

Glad to see this quest is back. :D And oh wow, things are escalating quickly. Fortuantely we have most of the galaxy siding with us, not to mention the workers as well.

I just want to see the reactions of the people in the alternate universe where this is an actual TV show. Constantine slowly showing off more and more of how much of a chad he is as the show progresses would be amazing to watch.

Anyway, let's go help out the workers. Viva la revolution!

Constantine already has a very rigid ideology though.

He's a man who was loyal to the Republic.

Now of course he can change, but he first and foremost belives in the Republic.

May the 4th is tomorrow, so if there is any time to start it up... well, really cant pick a more thematic day.
