Star Wars An Officer and a Traitor (NO SV, you are an Imperial Officer and Traitor)

[X]Plan: Here comes the General
-[X]Alexander Veers
-[X]The General

[X] Plan The General

[x] Ghost of the Republic

I REALLY don't want another Quest where we start with fuck-all. I want to play one where we are already somewhat established, can make use of resources and meet many interesting characters from the start. Honestly, Stories about rising up from nothing have lost their appeal to me after so many of them I played.
Also, I don't think anyone ever chooses the Army in these kinds of Quests, so General is my first choice, with Moff close second.

It seems like option choice here very much affects the game.
[]The Junior Officer: When you were fighting in the Clone Wars, you had been a wide-eyed, naive cadet of the Judiciaries, folded into service of the Army of the Republic. You had not seen much action, but what little you did see, shaped you forever. You thought that the Empire was going to change that. It did. Though instead of stopping the violence, all it seemed to do, was escalate it. (Begin at the age of 24 standard years. You will be a Captain in the Imperial Army. You are low on the totem pole, far from the interests of any who may be watching. You will have plenty of time to plan, and rebel before someone catches on. After all, a lowly captain isn't really anything for ISB to worry about. Right? Your Family consists of your Wife/Husband, and infant child.)
Almost standard rebel quest, but being an officer low enough on the totem pole that we would likely only face real scrutiny once STUFF starts happening.
[]The Captian: You were young when you were called into service. You had been hoping to be a captain, and you were, of an Imperial Venator ship. It was such a beauty, and the men called it, The Justice of Aalderan, seeing as you were a native of the planet. You thought it would be a simple affair, that the might of the Republic would finally win out, because you were the legitimate state, with the greatest army in the Galaxy. How wrong you were. How wrong you were. You had been part of hundreds of engagements all over the outer rim and missed out on the key battles of Coruscant and Mandalore. You were lucky you suppose. Not everyone was. So when the war ended, you were given a ship again, a new Star Destroyer, to sail about and ferry troops all over the Galaxy. To destroy any and all who would stand against the Empire. They chose the wrong person for the job. (You will begin at 32 Standard Years Old. You will begin as a Captain of ISD Hammer of Alderaan. The Imperial Fleet is among the finest in the Galaxy and does not trouble traitors or deserters. Yet now... they see only an Officer doing their job. Perhaps they will continue to be fooled. Perhaps not. Your family Consists of your Wife/Husband, and three young children.)
And this has us being one of the troubleshooters, but with little loyalty to the empire, leaving us having to juggle our role as rebel and as a loyal Empire captain, in order to avoid suspicion on both sides. Good position, not too high for too much attention and subordinates, but not too low to have little to work with.
[]The General: How Many worlds did you see burn by Droids and fire? How many worlds had you burned in trying to take them back? You remember leading clones and your own forces to victory when the Galactic Civil war began. It was simple back then. The Droids were the enemy. They were hurting people, and you had to save them. That was how it should have been. Yet now, you are conquerers, hurting those that resisted. And that was not what you are. (You will begin at 35 Standard Years old. You are one of the Few Generals that remained from the Clone Wars, on the Imperial General Staff. Most know your sympathies for the old Republic and Commissars are sent to keep tabs on you but know that removing you without any reason would be damaging to the Empire. So they keep you busy, as General of the 5th Shock Army of the Imperial Army. You are the commander of the Canon fodder of the Imperial forces, the Mud Troopers. Everyone knows it. And everyone under you hates it as well. Perhaps you can use that shared. Your Family will consist of your Wife/Husband, Your young children, and your adopted son, who serves as your aide de camp.)
This is a very rocky position. A Known rebel sympathizer mostly kept alive by the fact death would cause more trouble than letting him live. He has command of skilled troops whom has grown to resent the empire, but that is because said shock troopers are treated as cannon fodder. We have assets, but our situation is quite bad with both a dangerous job, and with the ISB only staying the dagger due to not having a reason which would enable them to execute us without causing too many problems. Lots of skullduggery would likely be needed, both to surviving the assignments given, and in making a difference against the empire.
[]The Moff: You wonder how you are still alive, so close to the Emperor? To Tarkin and esspeically to Vader. Everyone knew you were the most reluctant Moff on the council, having been the only one who had been not sworn loyalty among the Emperor's first class of Moffs. Yet here you were, your wife's years of faithful service, and that of your own, have finally paid off. You were made A Moff. But that has been a curse. Previously, you had been able to be aloof in your duties, able to have free reign over your entire fleet, and hand-pick officers that were not only loyal to you but loyal to the Republic... or at very least the idea of the Republic. However, that was not the case now. You have duties that are far above simple tasks now. The Emperor needs you personally to be on call to handle situations or govern systems that are... Troublesome. You believe he knows where your loyalties lie but wants to see just how well you play this part. But something tells you he wants you here. To control you. (You will begin at 40 Standard Years Old. You are a Moff, one of the highest ranking members of the Imperial Military, able to act as governor, admiral, and general all at once, wielding supreme authority that is second only to the Emperor himself... or Vader, in many matters. Every movement you do is monitored. You will have no ability to do what you wish to do... Or do you? Your Family will begin with your Wife/Husband, Two teenage siblings, a son and daughter, and three other younger children, along with your brother-in-law, who serves as your political ally in the Senate.)
This is, well. Plenty of resources, but with the scrutiny that such a high position naturally gives. And the personal attention of the emperor that may or may not be playing with the reluctant Moff. Likely to involve lots of politics, intrigue, and possibly even moral dilemmas as we not only contend with Empire politics, but also the fact that he/she has a different moral compass compared to whatever passes as one so high up, alongside attempting to possibly assist the rebels in spite of everything.

Also, I don't think anyone ever chooses the Army in these kinds of Quests, so General is my first choice, with Moff close second
It's why two of the options are in the imperial army.

I cannot stand everyone forgetting about the army even if they are forgettable.
It seems like option choice here very much affects the game
Correct. It will also affect the scale of moral choices.
Almost standard rebel quest, but being an officer low enough on the totem pole that we would likely only face real scrutiny once STUFF starts happening
You also have the chance to rank up.

Yep. I made this one partially because I can basically make it a sword and sail quest with star ships.

I wanted to make this charecter… well less a bad man more a good man in a terrible situation.

He has to compromise who he is to a nation that has changed so much.

That and making him the leader of canon fodder is an inspired choice. Play the cards right and the rebels get a fully trained army.

I'm being honest here:

Tarkin hero of the rebellion inspired me for this choice.

And a certain French emperor and his marshals also colored my creation here.

Yes your staff here are just Napoleons Marhsals… whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is up to you.

[X] Plan The General

General would also be fun too, while less resources than that of a moff, still quite a lot of power and sway, with a loyal cadeer of soliders and less oversight than a moff

Oooh a very contentious vote this is

[X] Ghost of the Republic

"For the Republic? A meaningless cry shouted from ignorant mouths. For the ideals the Republic should have embodied? Perhaps..."

"Palpatine changed the Republic to an Empire from the inside, all the while smiling to his constituents as he prepared his dagger. There might be some wisdom in that approach..."

That sounds so much cooler then the opening I wrote for the first update.

I hope you don't mind if I burrow it?
