Dungeon Crawler You!

I'm not sure how Skills and xp work with Multicacorpalan, could be interesting if you can use some of your bodies to grind out skills and levels that all the bodies get to benefit from. Originally I was thinking of it more as a gang up options, take Construction foreman and stack buffs or Lacrosse and pile on the marked guy.
There might be N bodies, but there's only one you. All bodies have the same skills at the same levels.

[X] F*ck the Showrunners, Save us AI-Jeebus!
Drew: Wizard Supremacist
Calliope: Doppleganger + Wheeler Dealer
Taylor: Scion of Zree + Sysop

I know Taylor has plot armor & it's a narrative quest, but I like approaching it from within the characters' viewpoint. No one has beaten a Dungeon. The cleverest builds haven't gotten anyone to the end, so let's take the most game-breaking powers that also have the possibility of bankrupting the bastards that killed our planet!

It's worth noting we're not guaranteed to get any of the abilities with FCA, so do be careful of that
I'm well aware. Tir Inqua compensates for, but doesn't remove, that luck based problem. If it was gone, I'd probably vote for Banana Farmer or Barbarian, to compensate for the others not taking combat focused classes; but both those classes are crippled by missing particular Actionables. Democratic Senator, meanwhile, is decent no matter what single skill is missing, and thanks to our Race selection, that's probably what we need to worry about, rather than missing most of them.

Scion of Zree is excellent... but potentially lethal.

Just not for Taylor. Judging by my understanding of things, Taylor is going to have no real death triggers unless we did something exceedingly dumb and likely to get us killed; Plot Armor's a bitch. What we mostly need is to keep playing smart enough that the QM doesn't feel it necessary to kill off one of our team in a moment of foolishness, and that much we can keep doing as a Zree.

Actually, question for @eaglejarl both IC and OOC. IC, those negatives of losing one of the Multicorpolan Taylor's, just how extreme are they? And that also said, OOC are you as an author more willing to kill off the clones of Taylor so long as one remains, given that the plot armor likely doesn't extend to our clones? Asking mostly because depending on the deterrent, knowing our QM is more willing to kill off our clones is fairly worrying.

Respectively:

Taylor doesn't know and neither does Levi.

Yes, I am absolutely willing to kill the clones.

And that, makes me very worried in regards to choosing a Race that could suffer major deterrents upon death, who hold absolutely none of the Plot Armor Taylor is benefitting from. It could range from more permanent stat debuffs, to a minor malus. Point is, no way of knowing.

To be honest I did realize that our clones wouldn't have the same levels of plot armour, but if we play carefully if one is in danger they can teleport back to a safe room. Well they can do it later on. While we only have two and have no access to our crafting tables we probably want to keep both of them in the field.

Just another option that appeals to me. If we do this, Taylor should copy Character Actor and pick Diva on probably every floor. We should also do that if Zree wins, but then we'll have to wait until Taylor can get 30 charisma to qualify for Diva.

I actually had that in my plans write-up, because I want it too, but we can't. Capreolan doesn't unlock Earth exclusive Classes, and Sysop is one.

It's probably, think of it like losing an arm. Completely chopped off, healing patches up the stump at your shoulder but you're not getting the hand back. That's something EJ would probably be willing to do to us, because it's dramatic and not quest-ending and stuff. But it's also not exempt from plot armor, because EJ wouldn't just chop off an arm at a lame un-dramatic moment for lame un-dramatic reasons.

That's kinda how I think the clones are gonna play out. If there's a fight that could really do with some dramatic sacrifice attached, some permanent cost to really make it a bloody and hard-won battle, one of our clones is an option. As would Drew's arm, or... I probably shouldn't make a list of all the grisly things that could happen to us, but you get the point. I definitely don't think we'll just lose one randomly while mob grinding.

Right. I should pay more attention to things. How about Primal so we can give Drew and Leo level 20 skills?

Edit: we could also unlock all the earth based classes for Drew and let him take Diva.

It occurs to me that I didn't clarify something about Vahnitri which might be relevant: Healing Hug is a full-body thing. You are completely enclosed, which means you're not going to be shooting while it's happening.

Also, dunno what I was thinking when I wrote that. 4 seconds for a complete heal? Should have been a levelable skill that healed the person faster as they leveled. Stupid of me.

Note: I just now noticed that angel with a complicated name that even I can't spell and I created it + Wheeler Dealer is not actually legal. It's an Earth class but a race that does not unlock Earth classes.

I've been looking into which races allow for Earth-specific classes. This causes some problems to the leading plans.

[X] Plan F*ck the Showrunners
Calliope: Catkin + Wheeler Dealer
Taylor: Scion of Zree + Sysop
A bunch of people voted for this plan (@kalugin, @Energy, @Pyran, @DaOneInDaCorner, @KreenWarrior , @fictionfan, @schlega). Please be aware that Scion of the Zree only unlocks earth-based classes if you lock your future race into human. This means missing out on one of the big benefits of Scion of the Zree, the ability to get a super strong NPC-specific race later.
I'll also point out that all the "become a God" plans are deeply flawed. In the books we see that (at least when controlled by a sponsor) Godhood isn't a unique race, it's an equipped item with a pile of associated special rules.
Battle Klepto seems more likely to allow for Godhood than Scion of the Zree.

Furthermore
@Bond674, @CrabTravelLLC, @Orisha91, @RandomOTP, @Shrooms, @Rhodes, @Dreaming Circuit, @Inferno Vulpix, @_brightwing, @Cariyaga
These people voted for my plan. Thanks! But there's a problem with it : while Vahnitri seems really really powerful, it doesn't unlock Earth-Based classes and therefore cannot be used with Wheeler Dealer.
I'm changing my vote to make her a Doppelganger. It's a shame to lose the ability to refill your mana incredibly quickly with no cooldown, but it's not like Doppelganger is a bad race either.

[X] Plan Sysop + Wheeler without becoming a Cha 3 slug
-[X] Calliope : Doppelganger Wheeler Dealer
-[X] Taylor : Multacorpalan Sysop

Therefore we should all consolidate on this voting option :
[X] Plan: Wheeling, Dealing, System Screwing Multacorpalan

If you voted for my plan name this should change your vote automatically, but if you copy-pasted the whole vote you'll have to go back and change it.

Oh hecc. I gotta go delete my vote then. I'd prefer catkin or something like that. Changing a bunch of people's votes without their consent seems a little... ehhh

Note: this setup already exists as [X] Plan: Wheeling, Dealing, System Screwing Multacorpalan, the current second-highest rated option. I would recommend anyone interested in this build to vote for that plan instead. For easy copy-paste:

Well, uh, don't worry, TalonofAnathrax doesn't actually have control of their plan anymore. Someone edited a vote for it into a post earlier than Talon's, becoming the official plan author in the eyes of the vote tally.

Why our power level matters even though we have plot armor :
We've seen that when we got in over our heads at the end of Layer 2, eaglejarl rolled to see if Calliope or Drew would die. Getting stronger means that fewer situations will count as "in over our head". Turning ourselves into a weak and vulnerable slug will make them have to defend us + will reduce our combat capability, and that's a problem for their chances of survival.
And of course plot armor means survival, it doesn't mean we can't be maimed, can't lose key gear, etc.

I'll also point out that Scion of the Zree was described very negatively by the AI, and let's not aggravate the AI while using a class that will probably rely on its willingness to mess with the showrunners for us...

Thanks for pointing out that we should be consolidating. Post edited.

I'm aware. If it were even possible to do this, I wouldn't have done so. But because it's not allowed, I warned everyone and then changed my vote.
