So, there are a couple important things we're shooting for here.

1. The manager benefit
2. Pathfinding
3. Silver Tongue Liar
4. Translocate
5. XP cheats

Each of these things are very strong, and there's only one class that will allow Drew to pick up all of them. We *could* bank on getting Manager with Taylor (I would totally be a worm. Drew is going to be the face of the party now anyways so why not lol), but I believe that getting access to Manager information as soon as possible is going to be very good.

Taking Former child actor then trying to pick up one of the other three (or trying to stack on xp cheats, maybe grab democratic senator) goodies seems like a very good idea.

[X] Former Child Actor

The Skill Character Actor gives you a list of 3 Classes you currently qualify for
It's never stated exactly how many, but it's strongly implied to be a significant number, certainly more than 3.

he gets 5 Strength, +4 to Pathfinder, +3 to Axe, and 25% Movement Speed (not sure if this counts as a stat).
The movement bonus is not a stat, but it is an actionable. Anything that goes on a character sheet is an actionable, meaning a thing that the AI needs to take action to enable since it requires dungeon magic in order to function. Stats are Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Constitution, and Charisma.

Going Postal turns him into a damage god and all the skills are really good, a full heal when he would die (actually might be the one skill I have seen that is arguable worse with levels but less chance of being killed by something it doesn't effect).
I presume that you're thinking that if you got the skill to level 15 then you would get the heal after dropping below 15%, even though you might prefer to hold it in reserve, and therefore it's better to have it at eg level 10 than level 15? Interesting point that I hadn't considered...well, skills tend to evolve at 5, 10, and 15. Maybe the issue gets fixed.

Voting in a new post changes your vote, yeah? I'm a big fan of former child actor, but I never read the books so I didn't know some people would've already had experience with it. I'll throw a vote in the hat for Vegas Strip Magician instead since it could actually be pretty baller.
[X] Disgruntled Postal Worker
[X] Relentless Justicar
[X] Pirate Captain
[X] Mystic scholar

Yeah I was thinking this at first, but the thing about FCA is that it's pretty much a custom class so Drew's is going to end up wildly different than Donut's version.

Also it was one of the 2 classes that Drew qualified for by getting over 1 trillion views, the other being Wizard Supremacist.

I was also thinking that I didn't want Primal because Carl has it but after realizing the effects of the buff Eaglejarl did to it I really want to see the class list of a Primal in DCY. Primal is also pretty much a blank slate race, it just focuses on the late game dungeon wise. Uncapped skills and spells are implied to be a huge bonus if you you can get something there.

I feel like people are sleeping on Democratic Senator. That boost to the whole party's xp is more broken than the Medical Student bonus and it doesn't come with a downside.

The anti-debuff thing is also insanely good. Lots of quests/dangerous stuff involve unique debuffs

I checked the tally, a new post does not invalidate your previous vote. So you'll probably wanna go back and edit your previous posts and either strike through your votes or delete them or something

We're using approval-style voting, which means you can vote for as many options as you want, but you can only vote for each option once. So you can vote A, B, and C, but you can't overload A with multiple instances of your own, personal, vote.

A new vote doesn't automatically replace your previous vote, it just adds a second personal vote to the tally, under the new option you're voting for.

Of course, that said, if your intent is to replace the previous one, then you'll just need to go back to the vote you want to erase, and delete the "x" from "[x]."

Hope this helps! ^.^

Democratic Senator is not a good pick for us. The XP gain is minimal (+1% for now, and there's no obvious way to level the skill), the good skill requires a ton of money, the class has no direct combat application, the defensive skill also wrecks our melee...

You know, Taylor lit himself on fire and killed some monsters. I wonder if "Fire Atronach" will be a racial option for Taylor?

Edit: "The Human Torch? That's you, always on. The benefits are obvious."

Look. Democratic Senator is tied with Combat Medic for classes I hope Drew can select with his first use of Character Actor on the Fourth Floor. Every single useful part of the class is a levelable skill, so he can actually keep them. This makes it a class I really don't see as competing with FCA.

...Since I brought it up, I should mention that Combat Medic becomes less and less useful to Act the later Drew picks it up. On the Fourth Floor, it's ridiculous how useful unlocking things called out as particularly potent crafting options on the first opportunity to use crafting is; specialized healing spells are not something we're likely to have trivial replacements for; and it's entirely possible his second, personal Fortune Sculpting effect can also be leveled. As we progress further, the third bonus of it is the only one that doesn't become less and less valuable, and that's the one that may not actually work even if we roll it.

I don't think I have time/energy to look through the conversation and I trust the hivemind to make smart choices. I'll try to keep up with Calliope's choices.

I think it's probably worth giving some thought to what we expect Southern Pride to do; specifically, they're going to wind up with at least some folks grabbing whatever the opposite of Justicar is, I suspect. We'll run into them again.

@eaglejarl, for the next round(s) it might be worth making it explicit how you want people to vote: right now you have some people using (y) Class: Classname and others just using (y) Classname. It doesn't look like the difference will be significant but it's a potential pain in the ass.

Also, let's say a prayer for the Astronomy Army. They're going to need to make some very rushed/hurried decisions if they want to participate in the 3rd floor at all, given that they all have the same guide.

Also also, bless Levi. I don't know exactly how significant the money he spent buying us the ability to go without sleep was, but I suspect it was nontrivial. Let us take this as positive reinforcement of the principle that being polite and considerate to people who are generally treated very poorly (e.g., everyone we're likely to run into) is a fucking superpower that we can almost always exercise without incurring penalties.

I'm actually a little surprised not to see a class based around being nice to the Bopka (sp?) or something, or for turning a hostile mob non-hostile (the...whatsit. Plant thing that we de-mind-controlled). Maybe they just got filtered out.

I mean, maybe, but if there's anything the Borant would hard lock the AI from giving mechanical rewards for, I'd expect it to be building good relationships with their slaves.
