[X] Bipolar World

The Global Cooperative option sounds boring if done wrong, and an absolute nightmare if done right. Imagine dealing with the cultural clashes within the organization, managing the demands of hundreds of different politicians from around the planet who want a dozen things out of each of your projects. All at once. It'd be an entertaining challenge to me, but is the QM really up to the task of depicting all that? Does it sound fun to the rest of you?

yes as it should provide enough money to leave earth and succeed from the government that created us

Yeah, I think it sounds like more fun than being poised between a bunch of feuding national blocs with potential Armageddon on the line. I'd prefer to focus on space travel and the attendant politics without worrying about global thermonuclear war.

We'd be dealing with competing interests regardless of what's chosen. You don't think NASA got pulled in a dozen different directions every time it made a decision? It had multiple intelligence agencies and the air force breathing down its neck making demands of it, alongside every scientific institution in the country wanting in on the action. Senators making demands of us so they can win elections, forcing us to build factories and facilities in their states rather than where we want them because they can pull the plug on our funding if we don't.

It's a plan quest. There's always an element of supporter management.

Yeah, but choosing Global Cooperative means dealing with that sort of politics on an international scale. Doing it justice might be a lot more effort than what the QM is willing to do.

[X] Multipolar World - You take control of one of four agencies in a world where multiple competing nations or national groupings have emerged (like the EU, or a very-early African Union). There are more political interests at play here, but there are also more opportunities for cooperation and international initiatives - provided one bloc or another doesn't, say, declare war on someone. Then things might get messier.
