Cardassian Ship – Durable, uncomfortable, close, cramped and cheap. Thinks creature comforts are for other people and technical sophistication is for people who haven't spent decades starving to death. The fact that the starving could have been avoided if the government were less...you know, monstrous doesn't seem to have occurred to that many of them.

Okampan Crew – the crew are bright, perky, cheerful, and incredibly psychically powerful. Individually, they're all better than Vulcans, and as a gestalt? Who knows!

"That would take twenty minutes, Tuvok, for a procedure that should take thirty seconds!" Janeway said. "It's absurd overkill."
I have definitely been this person.

"You know, Captain, I'm beginning to think you trying to keep a respectable distance between us is a post hoc justification for the fact that you can't handle the fact that the big badass Maquis warleader bottoms."
Okay, this is just too absurd. I know this semi wish fulfillment, but it's hard to find a good top without limiting the pool by being pulled across the galaxy. For there to be a top just there with him beggars belief!

[X] Everybody Learns Something But Janeway

[X] The Spirit of Things Getting Worse

Opening up a second PADD is for sure going to make things easier, right? And a bigger dog is always going to get my vote.

[X] Everybody Learns Something But Janeway

Even the worst Ferengi comedy episodes had soul to them. Though, I'm not sure why SF Debris feels the episodes where Quark, Rom, and Moogie are at each other's throats is comedy. Those seem pretty accurate to reality to me.

-[X] Ah, yes. Substrate kerning is just annoying and fiddly...for a human. We'll write an algorithm that redoes the kerning FOR us!
-[X] ...fine, you were just embarrassed about being...you know...Torres would literally not let you live it down. (Get pegged.)
-[X] "...I can't do this, C'nola." (Kes and C'nola have a heart to heart. Amy plays matchmaker!)

[X] Everybody Learns Something But Janeway
The only thing you need to add is little hyphens before the sub-sections of the plan!

[X] Example
-[X] Like this!
-[X] It's so the counting system doesn't get confused!
...not exactly. The proper way to do it is to include the word "Plan" as the first word of the first line. Doing so makes the Vote Tally recognize it as a plan vote, and it'll then automatically count votes for just the first line as votes for the entire plan. It can make a big difference, especially in larger quests or with more complicated plan votes. (In the vote tally right now, it's counting my vote as separate from the original, for example.)

[] Plan Example
-[] Srsly tho not doing the "Plan" part
-[] Can make a vote tally look completely bonkers
-[] Sometimes

...and then everyone but whoever made the plan can just vote for-

[] Plan Example

-and the tally will look neat and you can avoid it doings silly things.

That is literally the opposite of the intended message of the TOS episode that first introduced the Gorn.

What even is modern Trek?
A big problem is that too much of it is that modern franchises are about the franchise rather than using the franchise to be about something else. It makes more sense if you see the Gorn as a hokey space monster you remember mostly from clips.

The original Gorn straight up murdered an entire colony without warning. Their actions in SNW are consistent with that. Maybe they're just going through an asshole phase and later become the sort of people who can have a wedding on a Federation starbase, and Kirk sparing the captain is the start of that.

-[X] Wait, you can do a workaround by just hacking in another PADD's memory circuitry!
-[X] Bottom? Bottom!? You'll show Rak who bottoms here (attempt to top, badly, get pegged.)
-[X] "Don't worry, C'nola. I got this!" (Amy becomes an even bigger golden retriever)

-[X] Sometimes Brute Force is warranted. You can expand the device's memory capability by using the viewscreen's secundary graphic storage unit as additional swap-space, allowing to fully expand whatever seems to be tangling up it's memory. Once you see it, diagnosing the problem will be easy.
-[X] It turns out Cardassian systems have fraternization alarms. In order to keep the (very loud and distinctive) alert from being broadcast through the ship, you will need the captain's override. But there are consequences.
-[X] "Don't worry, C'nola. I got this!" (Amy becomes Cerberos. Positive : She can talk now. Negative : Only 2 out of 3 heads have a filter)

Everyone learns something but Janeway!

Maybe they're just going through an asshole phase and later become the sort of people who can have a wedding on a Federation starbase, and Kirk sparing the captain is the start of that.

I mean, they thought that the "colony" was a staging base for an attack. And considering how INCREDIBLY WELL ARMED Federation ships and starbases are, they've got a right to.
