With the research into the alien power cores, INDEX has been able to identify what appears to be alien batteries. While they appear to be used in alien weapons, other usages of the alien batteries have also been identified. Studying them would give INDEX greater insight into how they work and possibly unlock the secret of using them.

Having seen some substantial success against the alien invaders, INDEX has garnered enough credibility to its name that it could expand its scope. During the attack on Warsaw in 2017, INDEX captured an B-Class UFO, albeit one with all of its weapons destroyed. While INDEX chose to keep it intact at the time instead of taking it apart for salvage, it is still possible to scrap the alien battleship.

I'm pretty sure that's why we're putting focus on Alien Computers, because it will hopefully help us in a lot of areas.


@Oshha the Deployment for the Huntress light carrier is listed as gaining +25 progress per turn, so if we chose the Contract External Manufacturers option for the Huntress that would stack to +50, correct? The +25 already listed for the Huntress is not a doubling-up error?

Focusing on getting Huntresses, Foxtrot, Vehicle laser, and the first phases of each factory and unit done.

@Oshha the Deployment for the Huntress light carrier is listed as gaining +25 progress per turn, so if we chose the Contract External Manufacturers option for the Huntress that would stack to +50, correct? The +25 already listed for the Huntress is not a doubling-up error?
Correct. It is the same situation as the Sentry-class Frigate.

Infra: Getting the last base Done to Stage 2, and Working on The High Priority Base.

Services: Wanted to Use all dice so I did the Cheaper Boost Recruitment, but since I do want to finish Stage 3 of Reconstruction I Put a Dice there.
Research: Hopefully getting Both Done this turn.
Military: Getting our frontline Ground Forces Some armored Firepower to help, Puting 1 Dice on Sentry and Huntress to get them out a little faster, and 1 dice on signal to finish that up.

And my justifications -

* 1 dice in Alpha Base to finish off the current phase, because each phase of a base not only improves its capabilities but also its defences - I want to be prepared in case the United States government turns out to be under the control of an alien agent, either in the White House or pulling his strings, and they decide to move against us.
* 2 dice on Delta Base to gain +2 bonus to all our dice, and additional +2 to all our Admin dice, and an extra 1 Administration dice. Also with this plan I'm setting up vehicle factories at Delta Base so working on improving the security and garrison there seems like a suitable precaution.
* Get the Spartan, Chariot and Hawk factories started as the Blackwing and Defender already have factories set up (even if they are just Phase 1). The sooner we get Phase 1 factories up for them the sooner we can start building up reserves of these vehicles. I don't know if this will affect the progress required to their frontline deployment, but the factories are still worth getting.
* Continuing with Warsaw Reconstruction
* Keep up the Research efforts for Vehicular Laser Weaponry and Alien Computers so we can hopefully finish at least one of them this turn. Use our Free Dice on Vehicular Laser Weaponry this turn as our Defenders are having trouble with UFOs, so we want to improve what our vehicles can carry.
* For Military we start the deployment of our ground vehicle units and Hawk attack helicopters, as the Sentry and Huntress warships already have progress automatically accruing to them each turn. Finish the Signal Interceptor Deployment because it needs doing. Spend a Dice on getting the Huntress light carriers to Phase 1 Deployment so we have at least some of them ready to go.
* Contact External Manufacturers to get the Spartan tank, Chariot IFV and Hawk attack helicopter into production. This will cost us 50 Resources per turn but this will really help with the progress needed to roll out this gear to the troops in the field, getting us an extra 25 Progress per turn in addition to any dice we allocate.
 
Fixed my plan to show my intended one dice effort for Hawk Helis, I went with one die on all vehicle deployments to at least begin getting them out, I know they will need more dice next turn. Keeping up the strong effort on Huntresses to try and get well into phase 2 for them since Carriers are critical for our response.

I am avoiding doing any of the Contact External Manufacturers actions until next turn since I dont want to dip into our reserve for now.

As far as the US goes I'd say we keep doing what we're doing, if we keep stopping the aliens before they land then public opinion has to eventually improve. Maybe once we finish the Warsaw reconstruction the PR campaign option will come back.
