So I'm going to plug the idea of waiting an extra day and planning/gathering info, which may or may not fall under
[] "No! There's got to be another way I'm not going to leave you here! I'll think of something…"
Mantrae has made a deal with the bandits, but she's gone through great effort to keep most of her people from knowing that Artemis and company are present, and thus she's keeping her people from knowing that she is betraying our party. During the most recent update Ryza spots at least one pair of armored riders moving through the gate in the dead of night while flying. Odd time to be switching patrols - not so odd a time to be sending a message you don't want discovered by others.
Considering the above, it isn't unreasonable to assume Lady Mantrae is communicating with the bandits at night, and that any exchange of Artemis to the bandits is going to occur at night for secrecy's sake. This means we can sneak out of the our room as easily as we did this update to intervene. Then, in the dark we could go dragon and either ambush the transport or wait and ambush the bandits. The bandits need Artemis alive to get their massive reward so they're unlikely to kill her if they start losing/fleeing, and they're also unlikely to try using her as a hostage against a giant dragon attacking them for who knows what reason.
With this method we would also have at least an extra day to assess the situation, gather information, and figure out a resolution that doesn't leave some of the party in the wind. Not only would Ryza hate to abandon her friends, but Artemis would hate having to run a second time while people who risked everything for her had to suffer.
Beyond that I think there might be a few sources of potential assistance at the castle. Claire from Kelton's training interludes showed a positive disposition towards Kelton and seems to be a cynic who wants to believe in doing the right thing. We also have Sir Octavio, who seems to severely disagree with not preparing the carriage to presumably escort Lady Artemis back to Agrithe. I'm not sure how an extra day trapped in our room would let us leverage this potential assistance or if they would even be willing to take risks like saving Artemis, but either way I want to pick the option that doesn't immediately leave Kelton, Axton, and Lancel behind. We might have to leave them in an update or two, but I'm willing to take the chance that we can do something. Also even if we can't gather allies or come up with a better plan in the day that passes we can at least rest up for our night escape.
Editing in my vote as well:
[X] Go find Artemis quickly: Somethings wrong, and you need to know your friend is safe.
