1. Keep in mind that since Vaspukararan is a continental empire, not all the cultures are from the same linguistic inspiration. In this case, the 'X' in Xococo is prounounced like the Nahuatl X, which is a 'Sh' sound. Most names ae going to be read reasonably phonetically for an English speaker, though. Generally I simply tone shift existing Aramaic, Hebrew, biblical, and Mesopotamian words and phrases for a lot of this.
2. Good catch! Yes, it absolutely is. It is autumn time. I do try to make these references disparate and diffuse, though, so Vaspukaran takes inspiration wildly to avoid being too wedded to one place.
