Thank you! The map is a longtime labour of love and will form an important basis for orienting yourself, but it is also super huge so I should totally add some more zoomed in sections for times like this.

I noticed the Hebrew, Aramaic and Persian flavors for sure.

TBH, I kind of want a Grand Strategy mod with this map now :p

Let's not promise the locals anything we can't fulfill. If we do manage to get out and theyr're support and involvement become known chances are they're gonna be the targets of reprisals from the Komandhir. Also I just don't trust the criminals.

Baba Tanda and Rector Qanam have been invaluable defenders of the true faith, but we have bent and stooped so many years for a purpose: to mend the faith in Nachivan. To do that, first we must escape the Komandir's grasp - God willing! And it is God who has given Wendam the gift of Gab and common plight with the destitute Jurors who would bar our path, and perhaps even seduce them with the sweetness of God from the darkness of the mill or the diseased garrison.

The question of what we do, and who is better suited by God's gifts, when we arrive at the Eternal City we can decide again when we are free.

I don't have a problem with Boxer Rebellion as a plan, but the discipline focus actually feels rather un-Boxer. I'd prefer to instill fervor (and punching) in the masses so they'll fight for their interests, even if our control over them is only indirect.

I have edited the original update to include the location of Xococo inside Kutan as @Athas requested as well as reorganizing the threadmarks a bit.

I think that right now No True Historical Parallels (True Confession, Discipline, Qanam, Black Elephant Standard) is winning by 1 vote, with Boxer Rebellion at 7. I will leave the vote open as this is exceedingly close.

Since Confessors and Pugilists have very different philosophies I am going to have to set a vote timer here to have this done before I come home from work so I know what I am actually writing.

I believe No Historical Parallels is winning by one vote.
