[X] Baptized in Hellfire - Within the bloody war, some heroes went beyond what was needed. Kesar the most prominent. Yet Maticus banished an Exalted, Oriacarius defeated the Court of Storms, Solarus made more bombs than he ever has, and Doom Slayer had more individual kills than any but Kesar. They have been baptized in hell, and they are stronger for it. And as Kesar becomes the Anathema, his greatest sons become daemonsbane. *Heroes and Kesar gain narrative corruption resistance (they will not fall unless they willingly do so). Heroes gain Tier 1 Daemonsbane (-10 to daemon rolls when present. Stacks with other daemonsbanes)*

[X] Warden Kill Teams - One of the critical reasons for the war's success, the kill teams of the Legion allowed daemons to be engaged with numerical superiority. Combined with the heroics of many, enemy champions will learn how well the Wardens can fight. Especially when supporting their own champions. *Kill teams become a permanent part of the Wardens. If no proto or hero is present, they will engage enemy champions with a +25. Heroes and proto heroes gain a team to assist when they face champions providing a +20 that may grow with time.*

[X] Annals of Battle - For half a decade the Wardens fought, gaining more and more understanding of battle with each passing second. Now they understand the nature of war more than they ever have. And they are stronger for it. *+10 Legion Combat*

@Daemon Hunter so I want to cash in on my Defenders of Humanity Question.

In case Baldur was to Hero what would his Daemonsbane Tier requirements and path look like? After all he's the next closest to heroing….

Tier 1: True death a Great Daemon
Tier 2: Dismantle a Tzeentchian plot without hero assistance
Tier 3: Convince a cultist from each Chaos God and Undivided to turn on Chaos
Tier 4: Have a lengthy debate with a Greater Daemon and have them say he's won it
Tier 5: Convince/trick every faction of Chaos to attack another faction at some point
Tier 6: Convince a Daemon Prince of Chaos to turn on Chaos
Tier 7: Get invited to a discussion with an Exalted and survive
Tier 8: Deceive an Exalted of Chaos and survive
Tier 9: Get into a debate with Honored of each Chaos faction and have each admit that Baldur won
Tier 10: Convince a daemonworld to turn on Chaos
Tier 11: Convince an Exalted of Chaos to turn on Chaos

Okay. So this is going to be fun. I appreciate the exposition there and the requirements. It's certainly befitting I guess lol.

Edit: I will say I think 2 and 3 should be switched around lol.

[X] Warpbane - It is one thing to fight daemons, it is another to fight them on a daemonworld. Yet, the Wardens did that. They fought on daemonworlds for years, and they have learned much about how to fight their most hated foes. *+15 Anti-Daemon*

[X] Triage Protocols - It takes a special type of horrific war to learn as much about triage as the Wardens have. The works of both Rikard and Vaidya have proven instrumental in what the Legion has learned from 5 years within the warp. Every medical tool has been improved, every protocol revamped, and many lives will be saved for it. *Upgrade reduce Warden casualties from 12.5% to 25%*

So the idea is that each tier is as difficult for them as each tier is for Kesar right? So trying to convince an Exalted to turn on Chaos would be just as suicidal as charging at a Chaos God would be for Kesar and so on right?

If this place will become my tomb in centuries to come, it would be nice to be put down in a place where I can feel at ease and secure in the knowledge that my work had true meaning.

I absolutely love this, and all the thematic parallels between what Auro thinks and the rest of the Library. For that reason, the beginning was almost captivating for me.

Good job man.

jesus christ, does the narrative corroption resistance extend to all our hero's, including future ones? because if so, then Daemonsbane will get ridiculously powerful if we find a daemon-world and just mad stack our heros on it

Every future Warden Hero gets the narrative CR but they'll have to earn the Daemonsbane tree on their own

@Daemon Hunter would Triage Protocols open up opportunities to further develop along esoteric medical lines? (Genetics, Biomancy, Immaterial Afflictions i.e Poisons, curses and mutations).

I think this is the most profit for us

It would, there's a reason why I had the fluff text reference two of the characters within the Wardens. It'll open up some new options for them, although it'd be more focused on practical applications rather than theoretical ones.

It will help with an idea from the past of making a biomancer healing group. Mainly as you'd have streamlined protocols for such a situation.

I'm just imagining Rene looking sorrowful through Apothecarium's window sils as they do this. One hand on the glass, specks of teardrops in his eyes as he watches his other two Brothers having fun.

How many legionarys are needed to get a bonus just one or a certain percentag of overall troops?

Theoretically Protos and stuff can give long-term projects to upgrade the Legion as well.

darn just realized the vote to social kelbor hal did not win, hopefully nothing bad happens to the economy

If it helps...Kelly Bor did not want to talk about the economy. He wanted to talk about Vulkan.

he wanted to talk about colonizing the maelstrom, which would have increased our economy

Actually, he wanted to talk about making a deal with Vulkan that would have fulfilled some of the objectives of Vulkans reforms while allowing the Mechnicum a lot of leeway in exploiting the resources of the Maelstrom. He wanted Kesar's support to pressure Vulkan in this or at least his approval of the project. The Mechanicus would be the main economic beneficiaries of this deal not the IA.

To be fair, the cost of the exploitation would also be on the Mechanicum rather than the Imperial Army in that case.
