Warhammer: Perseverance and Grudges

[X] Plan Retake (parts of) the Hold
-[X]Settle Disputes as they come
-[X]Retake a portion of the hold:
--Northern Bridge section
---1 Regiment of Ironbreakers
---1 Squads of Rune Drakes
---1 Combined regiment of a Grudge Thrower and Quarreller regiment
---1 Regiment of Valkyrinn
--The Miners Guild Hall
---3 Regiments of Pick and Shield Dawi
--Feast/Audience Hall
---1 Master Runesmith (Heroes)
---1 Squads of Rune Drakes
-[X]Expand your Ale fields
-[X] Assassinate Grobi Commanders 5 Squads
-[X]Secure a Minor Hall
--Vault Room 4 Squads
--Council Chamber 4 Squads
--Granary 4 Squads
-[X] Request the engineers to design some New Warrior armour
-[X] Request the engineers to investigate designs of the Bolt Thrower
-[X] Attach yourself to a regiment for the year (if it works, Feast / Audience Hall)
-[X] Move around your throng and look for an advisor (Intrigue)
-[X]Learn ways of Running a hold and building
-[X] Give them nothing, the hold has better use for those resources, and you would rather not stretch your supply, you're sure that none of your kin will mind a little bit of hoarding.

This is my plan. I hope it works.

Could the map post be threadmarked, so we can study it for future reference?

I've put it under the Clan Information now, mostly to keep everything clean, though when I make more maps chances are that I will move them to their own tab.

Desperation drives people to do strange things and while their not a lot of meat on them, I guess there are plenty to go around. (Though don't share that with the Karaz-Ankor Dwarfs I get the feeling that they may get queasy)

@Mad0Slayer You can't see how much gold we have anywhere.

The plan is good, will check it carefully later when I am free but I don't see an issue.

As for the Gold, that opens up once you've secured the Treasury which holds all the info and gold. (Currently, anything that costs gold will be added into debt that you owe to the various clans and guilds. (Dwarfs probably have a system in place as this does happen more often than not. Your Group of holds having been much larger before they slowly started been cut off or falling to the Ogres or Dawi-Zharr.)

So if your plan happens you will know how much you have. (Or how much you need to start paying back once everything is back in order)

BTW, @Mad0Slayer, I noticed you mentioning something about our Thane knowing Master Runes during his apprenticeship?

Which Runes do we know when we walked out on the Runelord?

can we in quest get traits, like with mayto's quest, or is it just trading to up your stat as it is?

You know 1 Master Rune and that is the Master Rune of Fire which also means you know the lesser version of the rune. (Kind of need the lesser one for a drake-gun)

Which Runes do we know when we walked out on the Runelord?

Working on the list for that but a fair few, not that your gonna have a chance to craft them for a long time.

(You walking out is a lot more in-depth than him smashing a Master Rune though, especially as it glosses over a lot of context which I looking forward to writing.)

As a note on runes themselves, you will see ones you recognise while others may not be known as you've been separated since the Dawi-Zharr appeared, On that note, you don't even know about the elves being allies or the war of vengeance. (You knew they made contact but not much more)

Speaking of your group has been cut off since roughly around the time of when Snorri Whitbeard and Malekith joined forces. (Roughly 150 Years before the dwarfs of Zorn Uzkul turned to Hashut) Working on a timeline at the moment. (Will leave it vaguer nearer your time but you will see how things went for your group)

Yes, though mine is still very much in progress and needs some work before I happy with it.

Can we continue our Runesmith training? It would be a bit of a waste if we have the ability to become a Runesmith and not use it.

Can we continue our Runesmith training?

Possibly I imagine that once the hold is secure and a few things seen to that you can take it up as some part-time thing, as you are a Thane you don't really have the ability to go disappearing to make whatever suits your fancy, so gotta work on that system. (Though it probably won't be for a fair bit.)

That's going to be one odd apprenticeship, the Thane of a hold taking remedial lessions from someone he is nominally the Superior of.
