[ ] Crisp Bacon Sandwich

The missions interest me more and I also want to learn more about the Boss we're working under too.

[ ] Spicy Meatball Sub

However, I also Mao and Kai...a lot.

Also is there some deeper meaning behind all these food themed chapter names or just a quirk of the character because I'm starting to wonder.

Same, I want the Dreaming of You mission and the Mao + Kai socials, but long-term jobs opening up is tempting too (have to consider that long-term could be lower EXP though).

Ugh, I'll come back when I have more time to plan+think.

You know what, I will vote:

[X] Plan: Crisp Bacon Sandwich

If only to avoid us talking to the same two people over and over again.

I kind of like the idea of Lily as a model. Confront her with the idea that people find her attractive, watch her spontaneously combust.

A shame we can't combine the babysitting job with other stuff. Taking the kid with us to help clear out some rooms or to critique our modeling would let them build character, give them some practical experience.

I do like doing the Sitting on the Baby job. Opening up longer-term, albeit higher paying, bodyguard missions is excellent. We need money, a lot of money if we want to move up in this world, and doing a babysitting job for the prospect of opening up better-paying jobs is pretty nice.

Obviously one of our future babysitting jobs will be a dogsitting job for when Nico has to go and do Index things.

You can… you can treat yourself a little, right? For once in your lifetime, and – fuck. You don't know. Eat whenever you're hungry. HamHamPangPang sandwiches, and that rice porridge Mao and Mori treated you to. Shit, maybe even pork belly? God. Please. [Receive Status: Energetic – +5 Max Health, and Sanity Points. Sitting the Baby! (Canard): AH YES. Last week, you've spent your Bodyguarding in a somewhat short term. Escort this guy, deliver that dog. Mostly in the span of one day. Less, really. But REAL Bodyguarding is LONG TERM. Days – sometimes weeks, to months! THIS IS WHERE THE REAL MONEY IS! Nevertheless, Tony and Mari are a pair of husband and wife, and they're planning for their long-awaited honeymoon anniversary. That means leaving their thirteen years old daughter, named Tori (because TOny, and MaRI, get it?) alone. That can't stand. That's where you come in. Three days. You're going in blind. What sayeth you? Pay: 225,000 Ahn – After Cut. Unlocks Long Term Bodyguarding jobs.

--[X] Burke.
Of all the three, Burke is the least you know about, though that's not saying much. He likes reading, as it happens, when you walk into the Office with him, and the Boss.
--[X] Boss. Stepping into the Office, you realize that everyone is out – and the only one here is the Boss. Well. Shit.
-[X] Back to your Roots – Simply to prove his point, eight people have been evicted from the apartment. Just like that. And they weren't even allowed to get their stuffs too. Technically, you don't have to – this isn't your job, anymore. But Landlord Lin's more than willing to lend you the keys, and – who knows, maybe you'll find something. (a part of knows that this is going to be awful; it's never fun).
-[X] Corpse Party – Karrion is the "official" tailor of the Scarecrow Office. Technically, she has other customers, but the Scarecrow is her main customer. Regardless, she's apparently in need of a model – specifically female model, and this is something she has been severely lacking. There's Mao, of course, but Mao's built differently. You and Kai, on the other claw…

Decided I didn't quite like the existing plans, so I made my own. Figure we can sell off some crap from those other apartments to make a bit of cash, and the rest of the social stuff is to make connections with our co-workers and armorer. Job is to unlock lucrative opportunities in the future.

[X] Plan: Spicy Meatball Sub

I actually want to do the mission where we clear out the Rats, but I don't know what else I could put it with. I am interested in talking with our dress supplier and looting people's homes, since I do want us to actually talk with Lin of our own volition. I like the both of them, and want to know more about them, and this should be a good start

You don't need to, but Lily wants to and we can afford it. I figure after the first month or so she'd be more willing to go back to eating lean for a week or two, once she has things she wants to buy that aren't good food. For right now, though, that kind of is the thing she wants most beyond the essentials.

LL is giving me the impression he wants us to succeed and that'll be at least part of the favor.

He seems the type where he'll drop the leash when he thinks we could break it anyways. A sort of 'honest devil's type. Wonder if he has connections? Rather where they go. I'll have to double check if we ever got a description of his clothes but I'm betting he wears red.

Probably stereotyping to put an Asian name with the two associations that have Asian names buuut he does strike me as similar in mindset to how they've been shown to operate.

Isn't the Murasaki clan the Syndicate that gets bullied into going into the Library by big bastard blue while also stealing their threads for some honestly pretty sweet suits?

Go with Kai? (Recommended)
-[X] Someone to Hang Out With?
--[X] Kai. During a lull, you notice Kai moving up to the roof. Thinking about it, you've never seen her eat before, and well, one thing leads to another, and now you're standing in line together for HamHamPangPang.
--[X] Mao. "Fuck the jobs," that's what she said, and… well, you don't think she actually meant that. Regardless, she is making time for you. So you suppose that means something.

I subsist of Mao interactions, they are so good. And also I think building up connections with other people, especially one who can make your clothes can be very useful, maybe she'll give us a discount in the future! And most importantly, Lily is slowly softening up a little, but she needs more work on her social skills, definitely.
