We Will Never Die: Rebooted (A Halo Spartan Quest)

Maybe, but its Parangosky we are talking here

She already got pissed off by Halsey, so completly in character for her to order the assassination of our dad to make us slip up

Not that she wouldn't if she could, but aside from him being a badass in his own right and hardly easy to kill(he did say they tried when we met on Reach) but he can hardly spill the beans on Onyx if he's dead and Parangosky already knows it exists or "Reclaimer" would have been meaningless to her.

[X]Onyx: You only heard the Name from the Reclaimer… that was where the Symbol Gian translated was from… there is already a camp there, and plenty of ways to get extra supplies. A Perfect hidey hole, for a super soldier training camp.

Talked myself into it. Bring it on.

Yeah, like its been said.. Onyx is a big gamble.. but willing to risk it to help completely wreck canon

Best case scenario, could completely avert the Human-Covenant War as local constructs are identifying Humanity as Reclaimers.. and Medicant Bias aboard High Charity confirms truth to whole Covenant..
Cue whole of the Covies breaking apart as the most fundamental part of their religion falls apart.

I made a goof. It's dear old Dad.
I figured, but you cant deny it would be something she would try.

If we are on Onyx, are we prepared to become a civilization of one? We'll have to go hard on our own manufacturing, epitomizing a quote from Alpha Centauri:

"Technological advance is an inherently iterative process. One does not simply take sand from the beach and produce a Dataprobe. We use crude tools to fashion better tools, and then our better tools to fashion more precise tools, and so on. Each minor refinement is a step in the process, and all of the steps must be taken."

We will have to build our lathe of heaven and grind out an army through it. And, before the army, an engine. We would have to go full mad scientist.

While that is a possiblity, it's also a very slim one...

You have to do everything correctly without... creating issues.

Best case Senario, you might cause the Great Schism in the Covenent and we fight together with whoever is alligned to our interests (Probably the Grunts, Hunters, Elites, and Jackels...) While raising all sorts of hell in the process.

Worst case... You might want to light the rings, to mercy kill everyone from the horror that is coming.

And it's not the Flood.

We Wouldn't need to go all Dr. Stone on Onyx. The UNSC is still for the most part, supplying us, and we can build an industrial base with robots if we really wanted to.

Good thing you have 74 other minions, and an entire Regiment of Marines, and some of the Smartest people in Humanity at your beck and call.

Already a camp there, and canon wise a mothballed ONI site is on planet by this time.. with a very high end piece of tech there...

I'm more concerned with our larger projects and the Spartans as a whole. The process of making a Spartan is obscenely resource intensive, a Moljnir little better, and we are hoping to have a lot more than one small block of supersoldiers ready for Armageddon. A lot of the crap we need the sum of human civilization can barely produce at all.

Not insurmountable, but inconvenient.

And that could make all the difference in the world.

Well heres the thing.

We alone have already contributed enough to justify the cost of making a Spartan, on our own...

Lets just say that... we've kinda made the program look good from a cost to benefit measurement.

In effect, we made what was a super-soldier program into a powerhouse of potential soldiers, engineers, and scientists just from us poking into the fields..

Hence why a certain Admiral decided to go for us this early on...even prior to augmentations

And that didn't even happen until after the spartans got augmented... and they only had the Washouts to work with.

Yeah, thank God Halsey walked away from that one alive... we still kinda need her.

Huh are the other cadets subtly made to work on science as well if there are other genius engineer and scientist while training.

Edit: Also given thisnwe should probably have inventing as actionb as long as nothing is too pressing to keep proving the progran is a goodb thing.

Actually, Fhjad, the guy who in canon created a slipspace theory that allowed Captian Keyes to pull off the Keyes Loop, actually is working on Slipspace theories that will lead to that same outcome...

as a child.

there are other spartans who are working on robotics, cybernetics, weapons tech, agricultural tech, power generation, ship engineering and powered armor designs.

We've got a lot of genius' who thanks to us, are allowed to indulge in the finner points of invention.

Honestly in canon they should have let them do that anyway considering they picked the best of the best physically and mentally.

[X]The UNSC Beacon: A Large Training Battlestation on the edge of Human Space that has a very interesting contact. Captain Cranfield the self-proclaimed enemy of Enemy of Admiral Parangosky and the corrupt and overbearing UGE and ONI, one that you were sure would agree to a company of super-soldiers joining his ranks so he could just avoid the Admiral like he wanted to. Something about his daughter being kidnapped by ONI… You wonder which child is his?
[X]New Carthage: You need to start preparing the Spartans for their… new equipment. The MJOLNIR project may also require Gian's assistance to make it… to Gian's standards.
[x]Eridanus II: The Hotbed for all the Insurrection and the UNSC… a true place to test the Spartans… and also, a place where you can possibly make peace on
    [X]Onyx
    [X]New Carthage
[X]Earth: All your allies are there, along with the Sergeant Major's… You'll be safe enough there, even though it is right on ONI's Doorstep.

If you fail and... certain things happen outside in the UNSC while you're not in the inner colonies.

This might happen.

And that is for... only one faction in Human Space.

And oh boy, will that be fun if such things come to pass.

After all... While we have escaped Earth... the Clock still ticks.
