We Will Never Die: Rebooted (A Halo Spartan Quest)

Personally speaking, we're already familiar with Blue team, and I'm more interested in exploring other Spartans than just trying to replace Master Chief. On another level this still gives canon blue team a chance to form, allows John to come into his own, and potentially gives the SIIs another leader instead of a replacement. John is a good person and the Spartans still need him. And if we do want to change anything we'll need all the help we can get.

TBH I want to try and make it so we can get as many Spartans to survive as possible and maybe improve the argumentation process.

We can do that when we are older right now it's to help John and his team for what's to come much earlier
You know, there's no guarantee that they specifically will face all the challenges that happened in canon. We did choose the Meta option to let things grow naturally, and another team like Green or Gold could be the ones who end up fighting the Gravemind or replace Blue team in actions against the Covenant.

A noble goal... the problem with that is... We may not even have the chance to do that.

Also, ONI doesn't like nobility. so there's that.

And who's to say someone might not fuck with the Augmentations, due to canon changing bullshit.

Also correct.

But the possibility of Blue Team not doing what they do (or Rather, John) is rather low, unless we get involved and start rocking the boat.

I just don't like when a OC attemps to replace the protagonist of a series/franchise/etc.

I'm completely fine with being a moral compass for the other SPARTAN's, I'm fine with trying to be the leader of the SPARTAN's, what I'm not fine with is actively try and replace the Master Chief in his role.

It's probably just a baseless assumption, but I have seen so many Fanfics and some Quest doing it that i have just can't help but inmediately dislike the work when i see something like that happening, i'ts even worse when the Original Protagonist still exist.

Is it petty? Yes. It's probably just a baseless assumption? Yes. I'm not going to say that is anything but those things, but i still don't like it.

Well, for one thing, you actually have to work for taking over as the protagonist of a franchise if that is what you want.

And that is very hard to do.

And if the protagonist has died before their supposed or supported death, or you take over and do something wrong... something terribly wrong has happened, and bad things will occur as a consequence.

So, basically... If John dies then it means that is highly possible that we all are going to follow suit?

At least with an AI, any information we file will get properly collated, filed, and passed on. Humans will deep-six anything we can't be assed to bother with but an AI can just section off some tiny, if very advanced, macro to go through the steps for them. And meatspace is generally slow and boring as hell for anything operating at extreme clockspeeds.
