Humm ... Kushina? I can't think of anyone with a "red" aura that'd be anywhere near powerful enough to equal Minato. That would imply they did something to piss her off, and right now all i can think of it them trying to kidnap Naruto.
If i'm right, next turn we'll have the ... "pleasure" of having to protect the Kumo ninjas from her Wrath, because they are currently our hosts and the Hyuga are nothing if not respectful of tradition.
@Magoose can we do a write-in "organize a slumber party with Neji, Hinata and any other (very) young Hyuga." ?
"Protect all the kids" is clearly something our protag would want to do.
It'd allow us to not only easily protect them all but also try to form some social links between the kids of the next generation.

It basically replaces our Scalera while the Byakugan is activated.
And its bright, bright enough to be very noticeable.
Alright, and how about when it's NOT activated? You did say it's always on.

It's very dim when the Byakugan is off with the light being the size of the average person's pupil. And the brightness is significantly dimmer, like a red light on a low power bulb.
Alright, here's what I could quickly slap together for byakugan-on. Artbreeder is technically only able to make anime girls, dunno why, but work with what I can. Luckily, old fashion asian standards for masculine beauty was very similar to feminine beauty, so it's not TOO unlikely we look sorta feminine. The Hyuuga like their long hair.

Yeah... looking at a pic with full-red glowing eyes, I stand by my idea of people thinking we might be a uchiha cross-breed. The only thing we're missing from them being straight-up mistaken for sharingan are tomoe and a pupil.
... Was not expecting that for about 3 minutes of work, but I"m not going to say no. I should clarify that I did not draw that (I can't even draw good looking stick-figures), I just used artbreeder which is awesome.
I would like to save that bonus for next turn, to apply to training/social/D-rank. Along with my previous bonus. Feel they are better applied there than in whatever action might be about to happen.

I like people getting involved and doing things for the quest, like make art and stuff.

I don't think it is Kushina. She wouldn't show up as a red flash. She was never shown with that level of speed without Kurama's chakra, which she has no reason to currently use.
Also to everyone prioritising the protection of Hinata. Honestly, I would let Hinata die to protect Neji.
