What about fingerless gauntlets made with flexible materials?

Update mentioned the Rings material not being appropriate 4 enchanting could we ask the dwarves 4 rings and other jewelry that would be better for enchanting?

Like not special? Just material?

If Loki learns how to dance can he combine it with his weapons skills? Basically creating a martial art with the characteristics of both. @KnowledgeKing

Fluff wise, sure? It won't provide any benefits.

@KnowledgeKing can we enchant some thin (perhaps fingerless) gloves to be resistant to slashing (for grabbing and parrying sharp stuff) and reduce the stress to our hands if we punch stuff like boxing/kick boxing gloves?
The goal would be to have them as something you don't have to take on and off every time we switch from fighting to doing something different and vice versa.

Yeah I suppose just rings of a better material for enchanting. Or are perhaps forged with additional magic sealed inside or something to enhance an enchantment placed upon it. Just wondering if that is possible.

Second question: Could we do "woodworking" as a hobby? Carving wooden rings to place enchantments on?

Third: Are goggles a thing on Asgard?

You can try. Don't really get much stress from punching due to like...being Asgardian.

You could try. But they need a reason.

I guess?

Not to my knowledge.

So looking back, I re-read Odin's statement as I thought I missed something as what he said considering the situation seemed reasonable to me, but others thought otherwise and I have to ask @KnowledgeKing is Odin saying we'll never be a mason armorer and smith as well as never being allowed to touch fire, or is he saying that we'll never be anything like that due to its proximity and relation to fire.

Odin's saying you'll never be any of those because he's not going to allow you to forge because of the weakness to fire.

Well that's what I thought. Well I gotta stick to the Odin side in that case. Now Thor all depends on whether or not he's to blame for those flames.
I guess we could try to enchant something (maybe a bracelet) that gives him protection from fire and heat next turn.
@KnowledgeKing, if Loki decides to forge a spear as a hobby for the first time and he rolls really well, can he use it later if he wishes to?
