Ok, this is rather unfortunate. Looks like our only way of increasing Temp Culture is through Venerate the Goddesses, and temple construction eats up Temp Culture. Unless we Venerate, even a single temple will knock us out of the golden age. @Lukepop, you should take this into account in your plan, though I would prefer if you voted for my own down below.

Doesn't bump up econ like before, but it does give us enough Temp Culture to stay in the golden age and also bumps up our Temp Mystic too. There's also rather good narrative synergy here, as we're not only constructing a new temple, we're integrating a bunch of lowlanders into our civilisation, which the culturally and religiously rich nature of the Venerate action will certainly help with. Given that "narrative trumps stats every time" according to the tag, this is a very good thing, especially since we're in the middle of developing our religion. It may give our religion a boost in inducting foreign elements into our culture, which is quite good indeed.

1. Our temp. culture is at 3 out of 2 permanent. Building two temples will lower it by 2. You don't need two stats over permanent to keep a Golden Age. You need two stats over permanent (among other, probably narrative) things to get a Golden Age, but retaining it is just not fucking things up with negative stats and stab etc.


2. The trade expedition to the Forluc is almost certainly unnecessary as our provinces are on diplo. That's six trade expeditions each turn, though according to my plan it'd be 5, as they'd be forced into an economy generating action. We have two turns to complete that quest, and even if we don't, a free build boats isn't a huge thing.

It's also probably only a secondary build boats, rather than a main. Tbh spending an action on a forluc trade expedition might not be worth it anyways, even if it wasn't going to be done by the provinces, which it almost certainly is.
 
Regarding province actions, do note that trade expeditions and diplomatic expeditions are two different actions and you have your province policy set to diplo rather than trade.

What will the policy do if it can't do diplo? Will it try to Build Boats, or will it try doing trade missions to get wealth for more diplo?

Build boats for diplo and support subordinates to increase relations. It might do a trade expedition if it just need another bit of temp wealth before it can do another diplomatic expedition. If you got a diplo-related megaproject ongoing, it might do some actions towards that, but it will not start a megaproject on its own.

Does this count as a megaproject since we already built a grand temple? Or does it just lose the megaproject bonus?

It counts as megaproject because is the Urthrynite Grand Temple while you built the Arthrynite Grand Temple (I am planning to rename it next update). No one else can build a grand temple for the Arthrynite religion, but they can do so for other religions, which is what the Urthdysh are doing.

That reminds me. Has Eira actually been converted or does she hope to usurp that temple years later for Urthryn (a benefit of being immortal is that you can think long term)? Or does she worship both her mother and the Goddesses now?

Eira converted to the Arthrynite faith about the time that the golden age started and has been a devout follower since then. She is also one of the few people to know that Arthryn moonlights as Vryn.

We can afford one diplomatic expedition every main turn, we should manually choose one since diplo policy won't trade to afford more by itself.
