Unfortunately, I haven't played most Fate spin-offs (nor do I have a high opinion of F/GO and such), so I'm going with the F/SN canon. The only afterlife we've heard of there is Avalon. (And the Throne of Heroes, if we count it as one.)

As for the multiverse thing, I've defined it as somewhere it's not possible to reach even using the Second Magic unless something extreme occurs. (It's the Operation of Parallel Worlds, not completely different worlds.)
It is F/SN canon that afterlives exist, though. (Among other things, Sakura's reunion with Shirou as she dies in the Normal End of Heaven's Feel implies this, and lore from later works supports such an interpretation.) The eventual fate of souls is that they are reabsorbed into Akasha and undergo reincarnation, yes; however, that does not mean that there is nothing in-between physical death and that point. I've brought up the current event in F/GO as a specific example because it has the most obvious and direct reference to the fact that is fresh in my memory. (Well, also because it's written by Nasu himself and centers around a character that's been referenced in several Fate/ works over the years.)

As for the Throne of Heroes, it is quite a bit beyond an afterlife, a step closer to the Root, if you will. To elaborate, the Throne removes souls from the cycle of reincarnation, which known afterlives do not do, typically. (Typical, Avalon is not.) Heroic Spirits can also experience an afterlife before being recorded in the Throne. For example, Tamamo-no-Mae has explicitly spent some time at Enma-tei after her death before being recorded in the Throne. (As a side note for anyone interested, that is how she becomes acquainted with Kiyohime).

As for the multiverse thing, this world being placed on a separate time tree would indeed suffice to meet the criteria you have provided. Just, the existence of an afterlife is not really relevant to making such a distinction, either way.

Changed the wording a bit, to remove surprise at the existence of an afterlife.

It's been a while, so remind me, why do we know Kakashi and why would he want to be on this mission.

Kakashi was there when Danzo attacked the Uchiha compound and worked with us to take him down. Jiriaya said to choose someone so presumably he's flex his Sannin Influence and get Kakashi assigned. Kakashi may be interested in this mission because it would give him an opportunity to connect with his Sensei's Son, let him get to know the new Uchiha Clan Head with whom he worked with recently, and gives him a personal hand in making sure that he doesn't get the Hat.

I mean, would you want to be in charge of a military organization that relies on mercenary work to maintain itself and all the associated paperwork?

Would you guys/girls like to pick what seals you'd like to make before the mission?

Of course, it's limited (you will only have so many minutes and so much Chakra, and the seals take several minutes and some Chakra to make each, and you may only pick seals from my list), but I'm still worried I'm giving Fuuinjutsu too much attention. (Your mother HAS given you some stuff, both before and now, but not all that much.)

(Note that this next update is an Interlude, so you people won't get to see the start of the mission yet anyway.)

My apologies, but I'm unaware of how the Fuinjutsu system works here. Would you mind giving a brief overview of what Rin is able to do with Sealing?

Don't worry, I'll give the seals she is able to do in-chapter (the next chapter is an Interlude, but it also includes Rin's preparations to leave on the mission.

With both other Hokage candidates there, I could see Rin going for a bit of abrasive diplomacy to convince Tsunade...
"Look at those two. Do you really trust either of them not to ruin things if one of them takes the hat? Like the medical-nin tradition you founded. And inter-village relations. Oh, and ..."
While a lot of Jiraiya's image is just a facade, Tsunade also knows perfectly well about his real flaws from their time on the same team.

[] Encourage her
[] Go on the mission
[] Itachi
[] Korin
[] Teyaki

Hinata: the fight itself is meaningless, it's much better to be kind to her and try to build up for self-confidence than try to brutally push her.
Mission: going is a no-brainer. The fact that the world's best medic is a depressed drunked slowly wasting away (and Shizune is quite good too) is wrong on all kind of levels. I don't think we'll need anyone else to persuade her (diplomacy S+++ must be good for something...).
proxy: itachi is a very valuable resource that needs to be taped. And if the rest of the clan doesn't really trust him much right now that just makes it even more important that we do. Korin because it's the traditional thing to do. Teyaki because he is the often forgotten civilian point of view, he can see beyond the self-entitled Uchiha tendencies.

(edit) didn't see the vote was closed :(

+There is still over a month until your eighth birthday; you still have time until you become clan head - you will still have to appoint proxies for the clan head position, though
+Naruto won't follow Jiraiya without you
+You can gain experience on a real mission!

No interacts

Edit: There's my bad habit of having too many tabs open biting me in the ass. Didn't read this until after the voting time frame was over.

+A mildly/moderately sexist society may cause you some social trouble
Apparently, Rin-sama's diplomacy overcame at least the discrimination among the Uchiha. Might play a small part in why e.g. Kurama Unkai hates us so much, though.

Hey guys, since we are Rin Uchiha do you think we can cause war PTSD flashbacks to Kakashi?
Kakashi's teammate that Obito had a crush on.

She was also forcefully made into the Three Tails Jinchuriki and was stabbed through the heart by Kakashi's Chidori.
We probably should have remembered that sooner...

He taught Sasuke an assassination technique. For something that's not allowing killing. He could have chosen dozens of other techniques than Chidori.
Mmm, well, thinking tactically, it is a notable weakness of Sasuke at the time. Consider his offensive abilities:
-High accuracy, low penetration, low damage shuriken attacks
-High accuracy, no penetration, medium damage taijutsu attacks
-Wide area, low penetration, medium-high(depends on ability to concentrate fire and whether target is 'hard') damage katon attacks

Sasuke has a hole in that against high defense opponents, such as a Puppet, Gaara, doton-specialists, suiton-specialists, or anything using a chakra-cloak variant, he literally can't hurt his opponent.
His Genjutsu skill, despite being a Sharingan user, is unremarkable.

Chidori closes the hole, in that it gives him a high damage, low accuracy attack which has its accuracy drawback negated by Sharingan and the long windup negated by Sasuke's high evasion and speed giving him room to do so.
Still irresponsible, but reasonable if you see it from a pure tactics perspective.

I think a shopping list would be overkill, especially split between two forums. Would be cleaner to just lay out 3-4 preset seal kits to avoid excessive micromanagement.

Still, no big harm, just that the more complex the shopping process for seals the less say most voters will get.

Good point - I'll simply have you guys and girls write-in which two seals you'll concentrate on the most, and the rest will be left up to me.

We probably should have remembered that sooner...

Most (all?) of the sexists in the Uchiha clan were wiped out, don't forget.

As for Unkai, he may well be a spy for Koharu, the FEMALE advisor of the Sandaime - though it's possible he looks down only on females younger than him. Arkidi (the Uchiha OC Elder who killed your grandmother), on the other hand, was most definitely a sexist - the same for most of the rest of the retired male Uchiha.

Other clans might be equally as sexist, or close to that (e.g. Nara), some are very much equal opportunity (the Hyuuga are a good example) and some (Uzumaki) are/were mainly matriarchal.

Finally, Kakashi: I have some ideas for him. (AoM smirks.)
