Not that I think she really needs a respec at such a low level
As I, veekie, and others pointed out, to get access to the awesome hidden and unlockable abilities we need to get many abilities to rank 5. How to do this, when any new ability points are likely to go towards unlocking and improving the new higher scaled monk (and 3rd class) abilities? Answer: a respec.

A low-level respec is thus meant to unlock new abilities (and somewhat to boost our chatacter's prowess during the leveling process). While it is true that we can delay the respeccing, the later we do it the less time we will have to benefit before reaching max-level. The QM also warned us that our style of unlocking many abilities can lead to problems with lack of specialization at later levels, so an early respec looks pretty obligatory anyways.

If anyone has a better solution to getting the best abilities we can, I'd be glad to hear it. Also, while it is true that we could use the dollars on items instead of getting better abilities, I think it is much better to first pick our abilities and only after that choose the necessary items (from a huge item pool), rather than trying to do it in the opposite order.

If thats the case I like the idea of respeccong being a difficult process even more. One final test before she ascends to her ULTIMATE POWER

[X] Okay, sure. Why not? No strings attached for the first day.

Downside is less time, but upside is that our life takes a turn for the better.

[X] Wait for the others
-[X] Go claim the quest reward.
-[X] Look for some other big quest like the Grox one.

I like the idea of just nullifying a top tier spell. Galeforce seems real damn good but it'll kinda lock us into solo-play if we want to consistently be able to use it.

"Unyielding Mountain": There will be no half-measures or compromises when you make your decisions. Your will is dominating and unyielding. You go all the way, or not at all. Once you take a decision, you will stand by it even if the Gods themselves disagree. Such is a Will to defy Heaven. Your place amongst the Gods is assured and irrefutable, none can deny it. Once per battle you may completely ignore a magical attack that would throw you or otherwise overwhelm you.

just a thought should she try to get an alchemist class for those xianxia pills? or go try something like blacksmith, cook or jeweler? enchanter? you know for the charms or/and tablets

At least at this moment, her deciding to go alchemy/production strikes me as pretty out of character for her. She's thought several times on how boring that sorta thing is when she thought about Yaoi's apparent interest in it and reaffirmed her preference for just punching stuff.

That's my opinion of her anyway.

Cooking sounds like fun though.

Yeah. Best bet is buying another NPC and having them be our production class. That could be an interesting path. We get complete control of their levelling, so we could tailor make a chef/alchemist/blacksmith + something else whenever we want.

Wonder if we can make a monster NPC. Like a fire giant or as a minion or something. Might do well in the forge maybe? Only summon it when we want it to make something.

If we want to do that, buy the NPC early so it has time to level without being carried the whole way.

I'll take this moment to promote the Killer Rabbit, which can have a support class on the disguise side and hmm...magical girl gives us our own pet artillery + enchanting when it levels..

Now hold on, that was me.
Oh, my bad then. I probably should of double checked but yeah, I was going off memory for it.
I was going off memory as well and it failed me. :V Apologies MrGazzer.

Just a question, how Shadowrun is this Cyberpunk future?
This dystopian future? Well, I'm just gleaming things from the LN and I filled the holes in. This future isn't much different from our modern world with the only difference being that the world is heavily polluted, all animal and plant life in the world are protected inside massive arcologies dedicated to them, if they're dead, we're dead. Another thing would be that the countries are a bit more authoritarian and if you specifically disobey the law in like a moderate crime and refuse to desist, the police can just shoot you down and it will be in their full right. The line between the police and the military is really blurry in this world. Space exploration is blooming, lunar bases were set up a few decades ago by several other countries. The Western countries got to Mars first and they're exploiting the hell out of it. It is getting terraformed in a process that would last thousands of years before it is accomplished. Microbial alien life was discovered in the waters below Europa's surface.
There is an entire new Arabian empire that completely conquered the middle east. The world is not quite sure if they're Iranians or Saudi Arabians. Regardless, Israel too was conquered although the government discourages any discrimination against them since they acknowledge they're a minor part of their population that would become quite troublesome if they rose up.
European Union is doing well and it's not merely a socio-economical association but a whole new country, tensions are there due to Britain having left more than a century ago but the European Union simply pressurized it with embargos, military might and so on until it caved in due to the rapidly worsening situation since they were cut off from world trade. They also conquered what's left in the east of Europe who couldn't offer much than a meager resistance and they're in direct borders with Russia. On the bright side, they're offering better technology and life. Modern countries know better than to oppress a population or people.
Russia's situation didn't change as it had its highs and lows through the century.
In Africa, Morocco, Algeria, Tunis are in a coalition, economic and militaristic.
I think I've said a bit much but I'll finish up with the US since its where Karen is. They hold a pretty big claim of territory on the moon, similarly in Mars and they're having an arms race with Russia on who can make the most efficient and powerful weapons in space. Russia too is scrambling to claim territories in outer-space. They're trying to claim Saturn's moons right now.
No war was done in space before.

Yes, the Moon Treaty was long dissolved.

EDIT: Oh and corporations have a lot more power. Like a lot more.

Wonder if we can make a monster NPC. Like a fire giant or as a minion or something. Might do well in the forge maybe? Only summon it when we want it to make something.
Nothing is stopping you but do expect some jerks to try and kill your heteromorphic NPC. Generally, humanoids players by principe only make other Humanoid NPCs or non-monstrous looking Demi-Humans.

Just one thing to add about RL Brexit. I feel that the EU are unlikely to do that stuff, when Scotland was having an independence referendum the EU said that they wouldn't be part of the EU.
I think the EU doesn't care about other countries not being in the union as much as they care about countries leaving it destabalising everyone else.
Oh and can we do something like

I said that a bit before but the countries right now are a lot more authoritarian; I can't explain much as to why but that is the case in Maruyama's works and so I'm rolling with it, it is a dystopian future after all.

Once everyone realized outer space is a literal well of resources, everyone wants to race to it and claim it. A space race can't fund itself and the EU is looking for an opportunity to get more resources to fund the resources search and exploitation which is rather ironic. Compared to the scale they're now operating at, an embargo on trade and pressure on Britain doesn't cost much compared to their endeavors in space and is literally worth it if they can get Britain on their side. Whenever willing or not.

Of course, don't expect British people and the rest of the eastern European people to be pleased about getting conquered. No one likes to be conquered.
There is a lot of rampant imperialism right now in the world.

I would like to not talk too much on this topic as it is a bit derailing from the quest itself. I'll answer just another post and we'll be done. We're not here to discuss a possible future's political situation but to play as a player in YGGDRASIL.

[x] Write in: "Sure, sounds like fun." Give him a predatory grin. "When do I get started?"

I mean. Being a model seems like a more fun job than a cashier. And well, we could pump him and the boss for more money as well. Which in turn would mean more in game purchases for Yggdrasil.

"I'm here for a job offer after the boss lady noticed you a few days ago." you send him a confused look, this guy is leading the conversation on his own, you didn't even speak up once. "The one that gave you a one hundred dollar tip." Ah, yes. You do recall her. "She's the one running this mall and several other businesses throughout the United States and you're quite lucky to be noticed by her and I have to admit, you have what we're looking for," he says confidently and you're even more confused. Wait, you take a step back. That fancy woman was your boss? Holy shit, damn. You hoped she didn't notice your disgruntled face that day.
Wait, fancy Woman? I thougt that was the High Elf Archer we dropped into a Free for all Brawl.
Meh, more Money is always good.

No this was a RL encounter...
Unless... our avatars face matches our RL portrait, the fancy lady recognised us IRL and wanted somebody to party with but since she'd already botched the first meeting she had to begin a complicated and elaborate ruse in order to try again!
What? Why would an American CEO play a Japan-exclusive game like YGGDRASIL?
Nice try I think I've already deduced this plot twist.
E: Terran rated this funny because SV doesn't have a 'Now I have to rewrite all my notes' rating.
Funny is a close second though.

Personally I don't think she'd be into Yggdrasil. It's a hardcore game from what I can tell, and that just doesn't speak to some people.
