In the written medium, all an author needs to do to keep something secret is to not hint at it. Make no effort to conceal it unless you want it to be impossible to find, but leaving it wide open and "obvious" is usually enough.
Of course, that's for novels. I'm not sure if the rule holds for quests - they encourage closer inspection and group discussion.

Thats Rin alright. Enter the world screaming fuck
Seems clear to me:
-There is someone out there with functioning circuits, but who doesn't know how to use them.
-We know how to use them, but need to jumpstart our circuits.
-We know how to identify circuits
...you know, we don't actually know if Rin is the only Isekai here do we?
I thought that would still leave us unable to turn our Circuits on and off by ourself? Or are they something you only need to trigger once and then leave on for the rest of your life?

To be fair, this was a simple, easy vote. At most it's a rep vote and our only viable Massacre survival strategy we can do at the moment with our current age is max our reputation with our siscon brother.
Unrelated on this set of votes, good news and bad news voter base!
Good news: Thanks to aspects of Rin's personality, we have the potential for medic nin route early if we do choose.
Bad news: Thanks to aspects of Rin's personality, we will most likely never use the Healing Bite unless absolutely necessary for someone we actually give a shit about.
Rin's confusion over the exact sequence of events leading up to her demise might mean Zelretch did something to insure one of his potential avenue to acquire a successor remains open, and he is a meddlesome individual who'd take action because it is the right thing to do.
Furthermore you implied through the statement that he can't simply waltz into the setting that he is aware of the situation, and thus something as simple as sending a care package for Rin to find should be well within his power, or more realistically with how the Second works the chest he gave Nagato came with a set of legs to insure his follower didn't lose his homework assignment. This is the chest containing a mytic code that can download knowledge from alternative versions of the user, and there existing a Tohsaka Rin whose been taught enough about the Second, or just magecraft in general to solve Rin Uchiha's problem is actually plausible.
Actually if we assume nothing new was added by our QM the general sequence of requirement to acquire active magic circuits should be along the line of:
1) Refine her skill with Chakra Storage Seal until it is A, or S ranked.
2) A Jutsu that functions via the dimensional void.
3) Alter the Jutsu so it can pull something through the dimensional void.
4) Pull the chest from her home dimension.
5) Make contract with the a certain magical stick.
6) Acquire knowledge to activate her magic circuit.
7) Profit/Misery*.
*This requires a contract with a certain magical stick.
...Wait... Magic crests are Circuits that are passed down from Parent to child, and pass down knowledge to the next generation. Rin may have to do a lot of soul searching/meditation(pun intended), but if she has access to that knowledge, she may be able to find the knowledge on her own, or at least call the chest to her(failing that).
The only other way to get them active(assuming she's not seeing the Chakra coils in her body, and activates them as such) is by making a deal with one of the Tailed Beasts(which is a stupid idea), or a lot of research.
Hm. While I'm not entirely opposed to that route Rin already has a rather impressive healing ability that doesn't require any training, and she lacks any training modifiers in addition to her general ones, which makes me somewhat hesitant to focus on it at the expense of other areas that do.

Rin hasn't gotten a bonus specifically to Medical Ninjutsu, but it's always possible to acquire one, if she tries to heal (hopefully not a human, but a normal animal or s/th) something outside her capabilities and the Luck stat intervenes.
Besides, most MN relies on Yang Release in this story's canon (as DarkKing98 said), and definitely book smarts above all (which the Perk Natural Genius enhances, I'm not saying how much exactly, but it's a lot).
Edit: LOL, now I've talked myself into it. I gave up on the possibility when you guys rejected both the Brown eyes option AND the healing Origin option, but DarkKing98 has a good point.
Of the natures, she is best at Yin and Yang - and Yin is mainly about Genjutsu, which by Word of QM (mine) she isn't going to be as good as her Boosts imply, because she was mediocre at anything that affected minds 'before' and that has carried over.
Not to mention that in my headcanon, to cast Genjutsu: Sharingan, you need three tomoe (comma marks) in the eye you try it with, which... may take a while to achieve.

Here's another point for ya. You said that you think Karin has less Chakra than typical for Uzumaki. But that doesn't really matter. Karin thinks only one use a day is safe. So even if we have triple the amount of chakra than her, that's still only three safe uses. Yes the Healing Bite has a lot of great stuff to go with it, but even at Triple of Karin's Chakra that's not enough for your typical Genin Team let alone an entire squad/platoon of Shinobi.
I would expect the players to have the agency to make that decision, and I can easily see it being IC if a life is on the line. Also scars are treatable in real life, and I'd expect Konoha who has a wealth of medical specialists to be making a tidy profit treating superficial damage like that when many of their regular patients have professions that make likely to take such wounds.
Like I'm willing to consider training it to what is necessary to stabilize in the field, or treat basic injuries, but the bonuses are equally applicable to say Genjutsu, and that actually has more modifiers.

The Healing Bite is very Chakra intensive. Even with triple or quadrupled the reserves of Karin, three or four uses would be the maximum 'safe' amount to use. Also, yes, if someone we cared about IC life was on the line she'd use it. But most likely not for a stranger. Questers can have agency, but not to the point of acting completely out of character.
QM himself stated that we aren't going to be the best at Genjutsu, so that's a bit moot.
"Shisui, did I not tell you to watch your language in front of the baby?" Your mother says.
"Me? It was probably Dad!" Shisui says, indignant.
Your father says, "isn't Korin the one who curses the most?"
Then both males turn to your mother. This looks like it might turn into a serious(ly annoying) argument, so you decide to head it off. So, you decide to say 'Mama'. The woman seems a bit distant to you, not as quick to warm up to you as Shisui or even your father.
After that word, everyone turns to you. You point at the aforementioned person, and say the word again and again.
Your reputation with Uchiha Korin went up! E+ -> E+ (halfway to D-)
After a lot of crying and kisses to your cheeks (blech!), your family (they are your family, right? Just because you had another one 'before' doesn't mean that you shouldn't enjoy not being an orphan!) leave you to your peace and quiet. Before you know it, you are waking up to your father picking you up.
It seems your family is going somewhere, and taking you with them…? The four of you reach a relatively small wooden house, and your parents take you to meet… an old woman?
The woman says, "so, this is my new grandchild?" And examines you more closely. Then, she says, "why are her eyes blue?!"
Your parents try to explain that babies often start out with blue eyes, but the old woman won't listen, and go on about 'shameful' and 'a disgrace' and such. You start to say something. There's no way you'll let some boneheaded old woman push you around.
You say, "hag!" Looking at her.
Your parents try to make excuses, but the old woman ignores them. She scrutinizes you, and says, "who did you call what…?"
"You! Hag!" You say, pointing at her, trying to hold back your smirk.
The old woman stays still for a moment, then she starts… laughing? A prolonged, deep belly laugh. When she's finished laughing, she says, "it appears I was mistaken. This child has real Fire in her. That she can understand so much at her age shows she's also a true genius. Yes, she can't be anything other than an Uchiha."
She goes on and on about how you seem to be a lot more Uchiha-like than your brother, and then went into the topic of her late husband, Kagami, who had been a lot like Shisui. You don't tune her out, mainly because she might say something useful, but you don't pay full attention, either.
Your reputation with Uchiha Nanako goes up Sky-high! Negative D -> D rank
Your reputation with the Uchiha clan stays the same!
Your reputation with Uchiha Korin goes down! E+ (halfway to D-) -> E rank Your mother is starting to get suspicious of you!
You have gained a temporary full rank up in Luck for IC actions! (D- -> C- only for the next time you need Luck)
When you and your family get back home, your father speaks to you alone. He says, "I don't know how much you understand, Rin, but if you do get it, well, please don't curse so much."
"'kay," you say, and the man looks at you for a moment, speechless.
Then, he sighs and says, "I really hope you don't end up as the new Itachi or even Shisui. Damn that Fugaku…."
Your mother, Korin apparently, shouts for 'Suiho', and your father leaves, saying 'Coming, coming….'
Your father's name is 'bubble'? Are all the males in your family named after something formed of water? No, your grandpa's name was 'Kagami', which means 'mirror'. Reflective surfaces? Most likely.
You learned a lot of things today, though. You found out that Shisui is very similar to his (your?) late grandfather, that your grandmother respects boldness more than she does politeness, that there's tension between your father and someone named Fugaku -probably someone important- and-
"Rin, it's feeding time," your mother says, and you secretly blanch.
After you drink your mother's milk (what? It's healthy), she starts rocking you to sleep, but you can tell something is up with her. You-

A word of QM: there was no way to avoid a bad or relatively bad outcome in the talking to grandma choice. You guys actually picked the least bad option, the one that won't mar our reputation in the Uchiha clan for years to come.

We shouldn't work on our speech any further right now - that we're talking so much is already suspicious, apparently.

Hopefully if we get to the end of this Mission, we'll find a way to remove our Shaky Connection Trait without losing access to our memories. Get them properly integrated, or something.

You do realize Rin had a daily routine of using her blood to transfer energy to store it in jewel, and did so for over ten years? So I'm not seeing how there is any issues of it being ooc.
