In a Cultivation World with a Cheat System (Xianxia inspired quest).

I'm thinking Ten Sun birds to get our speed up a bit. It shouldn't conflict since it's based on a heavenly body moving through the sky.

Many techniques and cultivation manuals boast of unsurpassed speed: this one imparting the swiftness of wind, that one the agility and grace of a leopard or crane, the other of the tirelessness of a horse. They are all deluded, for the sun traverses all the Heavens in a single day without tiring, its superiority so effortless that it gives the illusion of slowness. Those who cultivate Ten Sun Birds embody this effortless speed and illusory paradox; they can move fast even while appearing slow, causing their enemies to see impossible contradictions in the user's movements that make them nigh-impossible to track, their every strike becoming a sweeping multitude that engulfs the Heavens.

I am getting the next level of UB for Cultivation, Whatever Doesn't Kill You for it's adaptation to threats as we should begin Hunting Beast for Combat Experience and adaptation to damage as the higher level we are, the harder it will be to get adaptations without the danger of dying.
Socializing for some character interaction as I like our clan.
Astral Body Forging for regen and it is most compatible with our Cultivation and synergies with UB.
Meditation for the breakthrough clearing and it's the second most compatible trait with our character.
1k Points remaining used for Cultivation Materials and it's remains stored for next turn or for emergencies.

Any suggestions?

since your plan calls for hunting, i would suggest grabbing:'standing above all beasts' at some point as well (maybe in the third month?), since hunting our own prey is what is required to advance that particular cultivation method, and would allow us to start stealing traits and powers from spirit beasts.

Good point but I don't really...care about traits or powers of beasts of this stage.I mean we are in backward woods of backward woods in terms of place, like any ''true'' Xianxia

Going with meditation because bottlenecks are the biggest challenge in cultivation
Hunting for more cores (and therefor more points)
Social because I think it's important to maintain our relationships.
Picking up SAAB to get more out of hunting
Unyielding for faster recovery time and to unlock Determined
Genius Body and Soul because XP boosts
Determined for even better stamina and recovery time
Purified Spirit Furnace mostly for the extra training die, but also because the suppression effect booster on weaker foes will be a great help if we ever get attacked by a horde of mooks
This leaves us with 1,700 points.

Just thought; but what about a technique that would allow us to temporarily shed extra density for a speed boost (with the speed increase growing with the amount of density shed)? Being able to screw defense for speed might come in handy at some point.

indeed, we are in the middle of nowhere, in the grand scheme of things, and the beasts of this stage shouldn't be all that impressive, but i still feel the need to point out SAAB because it would still allow us to crib shit from spirit beasts even well into the divine realms and i feel that if we wait for the beasts to become actually impressive before we get the thing it will just end up sidelined and forgotten by some other cultivation method that seems even better at the time, besides, once we cap it out we don't need to worry about it and heck with it we would have the option of being an even cheekier little shit and bribe a cultivator of a higher rank to kill something for us so we can eat it.

Okay, it's been awhile since I made SAAB, so I forgot that acquiring new traits, and cultivation weren't done the same way (new traits is consuming animal matter, and cultivation is just hunting). So ignore this question.

Let's get confirmation from QM; would the Meditation and Reading methods clash with cultivating Standing Above All Beasts?
 
...I don't think we can cultivate Earth arts yet until we breakthrough. Mention has been made we would benefit from buying comprehension-boosting arts early since comprehension dictates training dice.

@Kolarthecool Do we need to buy the formation required to train Immortal Sage Awakening or is that included i n the coat of the manual?
 
I understand that cultivating may sounds (read?) boring to both the quest master and the readers, but going out while we only have two months left in this elite cultivation chamber must be the most stupid and laughable idea ever. All these lower ranked people in our clan wishing to use them, seeing we have one but decided to go out, socialize or even hunt? Here is what they will think :

''What a fucking waste of ressource and a shitty young master. A silversoon baby who cannot focus on cultivating for a few months in this incredible chamber but need to go out because he find it boring? Oh god, I wish I could kill the fucker.''

Exactly! Time to train some movement and fighting arts, get some nice traits and don't let anyone know we achieved that in one month. Way better to only go out after the three whole months, ffs.
 
A warning within the cultivation manual of his art, is that one must be extremely diligent when seeking out the meaning within the item. As there are countless meanings within the item, ranging from color to temperature, size, weight, history, and many more, it can be difficult for one to discover the proper meaning they require.
I wonder what happens if one takes the history of an object instead of its density.
 
I'd like to second the question of whether we can even use an Earth rank cultivation art (Like, how the hell does 'mortal', 'earth', etc match up to the body refinement/core formation/core ignition/ascendant mortal thing?) right now, or if we're still stuck with the Mortal ones.
In the latter case, I'd suggest either Golden Goose or Astral Body Forging for our next one, probably.
I'd tend to shy away from a rage art like Black Heaven and Earth.

I'd think grabbing both Unyielding and Determined would be good, since Determined sounds like it increases will hopefully increase cultivation even more. Genius Body/Genius Soul as well to further increase how fast we cultivate.

For cultivation, Greater Universal Body specifically mentions that you're taking primordial qi into your core, which I'm assuming we can't do seeing as we don't actually HAVE a qi core yet. So we should probably focus on lower level cultivation manuals for the moment.

i think golden goose would conflict with LUP because it would be trying to make us lighter
 
If we want a speed art, Ten Sun Birds is definitely more in theme. I did consider Golden Goose but I didn't want to have potentially conflicting arts.

Why another High Mortal movement skill when we already have one, you may ask? Well, this doesn't scream ''subtle''. Even going around in a forest using it would be fucking hilariously bad.

The user channels the might of a stampeding elephant, advancing ever forward and crushing all in their path. Greatly increases Strength and Speed while active. Can cause slight tremors that can destabilize the footing of others

Qi Cost: Medium (2.5 sec charge time)

Zhang Hai: Father of Zhang Tian and patriarch of the Zhang Clan. He is a middle-aged man. Zhang Hai is very prideful and loving when it comes to his family and clan, but is ruthless when it comes to dealing with those outside the clan. He is an Upper-stage Core Ignition realm specialist, just a step away from stepping into the Ascendant Mortal realm. He plans to enter seclusion soon to attempt a breakthrough.
I would really like if we had something to help him. The only thing I can see right now is :

Bank the remaining 1560 points in case of emergency. Healing pills, poisons dispelling pills. Never know when shit is going to be thrown at us.

The rationale behind the activity choices are that the two techniques are similar (maybe we will get a narrative bonus, who know!) and speed is great when escaping shit. And that technique is better at escaping than the elephant one. Next month, training the family's style and the evasive technique sounds great, if we have enough mastery added to these two I selected in my plan.
