Not going to lie, I am going somewhat phantom of the opera themed here because it feels right to me.

just about all of these skills (how to fight, how to get around quickly, how to lie, and how to fix/modify your costume) seem like they'd be needed to be a superhero/magical girl.

um, we don't need to lie, probably don't need to fix our costume, and probably can't alter our costume.

Now she can scare the crap out of her family by haunting her own bedroom. Spooky.
Huh, we can touch things, right? So could we pull off an invisible man routine by wearing our old clothes and some bandages? Might need something to write though or otherwise use visual communication. Like drawings.

She can turn solid by transforming. We could easily move things when no one is around. I mean she is dead so she may as well make the best of it.

This winning at all is unlikely but I do like the image of a slight mix of the video gamer/programmer ghost with some appreciation for the outdoors. And whenever I get a hiker I throw in drawing because while you can't always drag someone up to watch it with you you can bring an image back to show.

In general drawing/photography I would think are skills that we probably won't be able to agree to spend time on as a thread that athletics would from necessity that'd be useful.

Because I'd like our heroine to be able to ham it up when she feels like it.

The drawing, cosplay, and sewing is for the inevitable costume changes as the story progresses: she might not need to wear physical clothes, but I'd like her to be able to at least know how costumes fit together, and how to look stylish while still maintaining some practicality in freedom of movement. Cosplay is higher than Fashion because we want to be a pretty magical girl, which means sacrificing some fashion for being, well, like a magical girl.
