Journeywoman's Journeys is two things: The story of Anne-Seht of Clan Cohacos, a young Journeywoman of the Khot-Sen-Lanua Archaeologist's Compact who is leaving the City of Universities to join a caravan travelling across her world to explore and have adventures.
This is also a worldbuilding quest in which I attempt to collaboratively worldbuild the entire setting as we go.
None of the quest's setting elements were set at quest start, everything was shaped by voter intentions as with every vote
What is the Setting?
So far Mhet is in a Golden Age of Gunpowder Empires. Tall Sailing ships travel the seas on missions of trade and exploration while Caravans traverse the world to uncover the truth of ancient legend and distant rumor.
Anne-Seth is a half Catgirl half demispirit Archaeologist taught the secrets of warfare by an ancestor spirit (shamelessly anime, thank you rolls on city demographic tables and creative voters, very based)
What kind of mechanics does this quest have?
I update with between 750ish and 1250ish words (theoretically) and instead of voting directly on what Anne does, you vote on what the surrounding world is and what options and people appear around her.
While most updates will end with example voting options that have the same number of words in each, I also encourage write ins as long as they have close to the same number of words as the provided example votes. (I reserve the right to reject any write ins that I don't feel comfortable writing or are, uh, bad)
