When Izuku's Quirk came in, he didn't expect it to open a whole new world up to him. A world full of amazing creatures called Pokemon.
At five years old, Izuku unlocked the ability to freeze anything he looked at in time. Shortly after, a slightly sleezy, if charming, man showed up to offer him a place at a school for students with exceptional Quirks.
(Aka still trying to teach self writing)
Ending up in an entirely different world with a sudden lack of hands and a body that comes off like a young teen at best is one thing, getting sent to another because you accidentally gave those watching over you an idea about schooling is another.
I guess heroes are close enough to a knight? "Kind words and the occasional punch" is still a concerning family motto.
Izuku Midoriya had always been a fan of Heroes, this was an undeniable fact. Another undeniable fact was this; in his world, he was powerless and thus thought incapable of becoming a hero. An opinion that held, even after nobly risking his life to save one Katsuki Bakugo from a villain. However, upon being summoned to the world of Zenith by the relic Breidablik, the downtrodden boy finally gained power he needed to be a hero. Or rather, he gained the power to summon heroes.
It isn't easy. One moment you're dead and the other you find yourself in a world with superpowered psychopaths capable of killing you with a touch of their hands, a government that treats being a Hero like any other job and many other fucked up individuals.
So what can you do other than study to be one of those heroes and be as sturdy as the tallest of mountains and trusted as the best of them.

Izuku Midorya receives his new Quirk at six, far later than most kids. His life has not been easy since then, but he knows it could be worse. Now he just has to keep his quirk in check until he can enroll in a hero school.
Sadly for Izuku's plans, he lives in interesting times.

Regardless, this is the story of how I became a Hero.
Bakugo Katsuki was going to blow the UA Entrance Exam out of the water. Yeah, UA attracts the best, so hopefully it won't be completely stuffed to the gills with extras, but Katsuki knows that next to him, anybody could look pathetic.
Why is that? Because he was stronger, smarter, better looking, and most importantly, he worked harder than anyone else his age. That wasn't even the extent of it. He could possibly imagine someone else in the entire country that was, perhaps, just as strong...
After being moved out of Mexico by his father and mother, Arsenio Ordura de la Veracruz must learn to become a Hero in a country not his own. That's not the hard part, though. Hiding his family's villainous past will be equally easy, as long as nobody can speak Spanish. Even his own flesh and blood can be steered into safer areas, if he has enough time to guide them.
His new Japanese friends who are about to bust a whole new world? Well, now, that one's going to be a little more complicated...

When Inko starts finding burn marks and bruises on Izuku from him being bullied, she does her best to stop it. But when she can't get the schools to intervene or even Izuku to tell her who's bullying him, she starts looking for a place where Izuku can learn self-defense. Hey, this dojo in Nerima seems nice.
Taken from his home early before his hero career could truly start. Deku found himself stuck in a war in a world of magic and knights, but all wasn't what it seemed. But this isn't that story, this is the story of the man-turned-boy that returned home years later... but somehow also only twenty minutes after he had left.
