Midoriya Inko was fretting over the fact that Izuku hadn't come home when the portal blossomed open on the floor in front of her, letting her trip into it and sending her tumbling out of it onto the dusty wooden floor of the small house.
"Mom?" Inko looked up to see Izuku lowering a gun-like item, staring at her as a blond haired girl in gold and white robes jumped up with a grin on her face.
"Mom? She's your mother? See, I told you the Breidablik would help!" She crowed, rushing over to help Inko up, "Hello, Midoriya, I'm Sharena, a friend to your son!"
"Friend?" Inko and Izuku spluttered out as one, Inko looking around wildly, "I- who are you, where are we?"
"I'm Princess Sharena, we're in the Kingdom of Askr in the world of Zenith! We… uh, we accidentally summoned your son to help us with a war-"
"-You did WHAT!?" Inko snapped, head swiveling towards Izuku, who looked confused and upset and, perhaps a little bit, relieved, "Izuku, what's going on!?"
"Would you believe me if I said Sharena's basically summed it up," Izuku sniffled, "I was walking home from school, and a portal opened and I went through it-"
"Why would you do that?" Inko demanded.
"...It seemed like a good idea at the time?" Izuku defended, blushing, "anyways, I got this… uh, weapon? It's called the Breidablik, it lets me summon, well, they keep saying Heroes but most of them have been pretty crummy, but then it summoned you, and- and… a little girl?"
Everyone turned to a glowing portal like the one Inko had come through, out of which came… well, a little girl. One that immediately caused Inko's blood to run cold, at the same time a growl came out of Sharena's throat.
No child should be covered in that many bandages.

Eri stared at the glowing portal with a dry mouth. This was, it couldn't be, could it? It was a trick, a halus- halus- it was her mind playing tricks on her. There was no way a portal opened in the middle of her room, right? Right?
Eri took a steep forwards, feet shaking, and the portal beat like a heart (like her heart when Chisaki pulled blood from her). Another step, another pulse. Another and another until she was running across the room and under the arm of the guard who had come in as soon as the portal opened and dived under it, the guard grabbing her leg. The portal tugged on her, dragging her further in and out of the grip until finally she came tumbling out of the portal and looked around as the portal snapped shut.
There was a boy and a girl, and a woman who had to be the boy's mama. The boy was hugging his mama and that just made Eri feel colder and more alone and-
Then the girl growled, walking towards Eri and picking her up. Eri shrank back, before she was buried in a deep hug that caused her to freeze up and feel like her heart had stopped. Not like before Chisaki used his Quirk on her, but… like she didn't know what was going on. Because she didn't. Why was she getting hugged? Couldn't they see she was a monster? Dangerous? Cursed?
Then she was taken from the golden haired girl and the hug was replaced with a softer one from the Mama. It reminded Eri of the hugs her Mama used to give her, before she became cursed.
"Why?" Eri said softly, "Why aren't you scared of me?"
"Why would we ever be scared of you?" Mama said.
Then there was a loud thud, and the boy and girl looked over at something. The Mama did too, before turning so Eri couldn't see it with a shuddering gasp.
"Go get Veronica," the girl said to the boy, "She's two houses down with Xander, go get her, now!"
"R-right!" The boy said, and ran from the building.

Nana was certain this was where she died. It wasn't hard to figure that out, she was missing an arm, just like En had been before his death, and there was a large hole punched in her side by one of All for One's Quirks. She spat out a mouthful of blood, staring at All for One as he approached her, hand extended.
And then a portal opened to her side, and she breathed in. Tearing herself from the spike of stone on her other side, feeling blood gush from both sides and her heartbeat get softer, she plunged headfirst into the portal and barely had time to recognize what had happened before she blacked out.
