Lightning Bug [MHA/Worm}

Foreshadowing

Chapter Twenty-Seven:

My anger felt like a bomb, ready to blow at any second. It was boiling like water, festering like a pimple. So intense I wanted to vomit, so extreme I almost cried. All I wanted to do was to kill that green-haired brat. Or the bug brat. Or the boom boom brat. I also wanted to kill Tattletale, for ruining my plans, now I had to take orders from Coil? That was unacceptable.

Where was I? At my base. The bar. Just sitting down and having a drink. It didn't make it better. Drinking always made me want to throw up even more. What was the point of trying to get drunk if it doesn't help when it really counts?

This was an awful mission altogether. First, they failed to kill All Might, and then they failed to get the supplies. So I got Izuku Midoriya to assist them, only for them to work against me and to fail against brats! Not only that, All Might was back to his peak strength! And took out my Nomu! This couldn't have gone worse! Literally, everyone was against me, even Master!

Only Kurogiri was by my side…

I had one thing go right. One thing that went correctly…

And apparently, it wouldn't even fucking work.

I stared at the TV. "Are you sure?"

"We already tried to copy One for All. It didn't work. We tried with the last one I killed." Sensei said.

"Try…try again! Do something, anything!"

"It'd be pointless," Sensei said. "We already have a plan for One for All, anyway."

"You expect me to believe that? You didn't even know what Levithan main goal was!"

Sensei sighed. "Shigaraki, I knew all along."

"What?"

"I wanted to see if you came to the same conclusion that I did. I wanted to see if our hard work teaching you paid off. Why do you think I wasn't shocked?"

I…didn't think about that…I was too proud to question it.

"So, what am I supposed to do?"

"I don't know," Sensei was admitting to not knowing something? That was rare. "What do you think you should do?"

What should we do? What should I do? I couldn't get All Might's power. But I knew Izuku Midoriya had All Might's power. Should we go after him? Try to kill him? Should we try to kill All Might again? Use the Hero Killer Stain? There were so many options.

But I know what I want right now…What I want to do…

I want to get answers.

"What is Cauldron?"

"A conspiracy," Sensei said. "A group dedicated to beating one of the top heroes. I work closely with them. I give them the right powers. They give me vials and cash."

"Vials of what?"

"Vials of power."

"What?"

"Vials that give you a superpower. A shard."

What? What the hell was a shard? Did it have something to do with a cerebrum parahuman? Why didn't Master tell me this before?

"Does that mean…We can buy powers?" I asked.

"We don't have to. They give it to us in exchange for my assistance. Of course, now I'll have to give Coil a vial for a question. Of course, I could always give him one of the powers I stole. I'll talk to him about it later."

I thought about this. "So, does this mean other heroes are trying to kill All Might? Or is it Superman?"

"Neither, it's Scion."

My eyes widened. "Of course…He was always the strangest of the heroes. So he's not what he seems…And Cauldron is trying to stop him."

"They're actually a sub-group," Sensei explained. "They're part of a much larger group dedicated to protecting the planet from any threats. Remember The Hulk's rampage against the heroes of New York a few months back?"

"Who wouldn't? Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, and others posed a supervillain group called the Illuminate in order to send The Hulk into space, and hide their-" I stopped myself. "Wait…are you saying…"

"Yes," Sensei answered. "The Illuminati were not a group they made up to send The Hulk into space as they claimed. It was a group they made up in order to save the world. By any means. Whether from aliens or gods. And that's not even all of it."

Was this true? It had to be true! Sensei wouldn't lie about something as serious as this! Everything he does is for me to succeed! This means…

The implications were serious. Boundless. The top heroes were a part of a conspiracy? What if Superman was a part of it? What about Batman? Wonder Woman?

All Might?...

I could win right now, I could succeed this instant. We have connections to them, all we have to do is-

"What are you thinking, Tomura?

I grinned. "Don't you think we should tell the people about this?"

"Ahh, you wish to destroy the heroes by taking them down from within."

I nodded.

"A thought-out plan, one that could easily work. However," He said. "You must not underestimate the usefulness of others."

Usefulness of others? I understood that, but we were enemies of heroes. Not allies.

Plus, what was the point of working with people if they didn't do anything and everything you say?

Sensei continued. "We could destroy the heroes we work with. But they're content to help us, which means we should be content to do the same. You'll learn this lesson soon enough."

I sighed. "Any other secrets you're hiding from me? I would like to know."

Sensei paused. We'll there is another conspiracy that works closely with the super conspiracies. One that is meant to contain anything not explained by science."

"A lot of things supposedly can't be explained by science. We have goblins, ghouls, magic-"

"Noticed how you say supposedly." Sensei argued. "But things like goblins, ghouls, can be explained by science. Such as biology, evolution, and physics. And things that can't, they cover up. Noticed how so many scientists will say that a supervillain did not die completely when they came back to life. It was just body death. The gods aren't gods; they're sufficiently advanced aliens. And magic isn't magic; it's just another type of energy. Even though it was created by the gods."

That's true. There were a lot of things that scientists tried desperately to explain.

"Are you saying…they can't explain everything with science?"

"I know this for a fact," Sensei said. "People don't want to believe their world isn't normal. Even superpowers are explained by power siphoning from alternative dimensions."

"And this other group," I began. "They contain anything not explained by science."

"Yes," Sensei said. "They're called the SCP Foundation."

SCP Foundation? Those horror stories? They weren't real! Were they?

"You mentioned the gods created magic. How do you know this?"

Sensei paused. "I suppose I should lay down all my cards on the table." He paused again. "Let me tell you about Salem."

Later

I sat at the bar. Silently thinking to myself. Processing all the information Sensei told me.

Cauldron, The Illuminati, The SCP Foundation…

Salem.

So many things. So many options. I had so many ideas running through my head. They were all thrown out as quickly as I came up with them.

Kurogiri came back about 30 minutes ago and stood there silently cleaning a glass, just letting me think to myself.

"I learned a lot from Master."

Kurogiri nodded. "I always wanted him to tell you."

I whipped my head around. "You knew?"

He nodded again. "He instructed me not to tell you."

I sighed. "I'm always the last to know. Hell, I didn't even know All Might's power. Whatever. The point is, I know what I want to do now."

"Oh?"

"Yes, I want to find out more about these groups. I want to use them to my advantage. But I can't do it with three of them."

"What does this mean?"

I took a sip out of my drink. "It means we need to learn more about Salem. She's the ones we could use the most, and eventually, we could use her to take control of the other groups, make them work for us."

"Can't we just work with them?" Kurogiri said.

"Think about it," I said. "Don't you think that it'll be easier to work with them if they worked for us? Master will certainly be pleased if we managed that."

"And how will you get connected to Salem?" Kurogiri asked. "Will you use All for One?"

"No, he doesn't want me to speak to her for some reason." I answered. "So I have another idea."

"Which is?"

"Salem wants to end the world. To do that, she must have connections. She's on the unnamed dragon continent. In the Grimm area."

"In the Grimm area?"

"In the section of continents with Grimm."

"Yes, I'm aware," Kurogiri said.

I looked down at my drink. "She must have a connection there. Most likely corporate and criminal connections. And I find myself more connected with criminal myself."

"So this means…" Kurogiri trailed off.

I looked at him. "We need to ask the rats. After we're done with the hero killer. We need to talk to Roman Torchwick."

Author Notes: Told you dear old Shiggy wasn't going to have Izuku in his chapter. Thanks for reading!

Next chapter will be Clockblocker's. And it'll be a little longer than the last one. Don't worry, these short ass chapters won't be too common anymore.

One more thing, I said Ultimate, my web novel would be out by now. And although I doubt you guys care about it. I'm going to apologize for it not being out by now. It'll be out after this story this finished. I mean right after. So get hyped for that!

That's all I had to say. This is Super Ultimate Number One, sighing out. Peace!

"If you aren't taking out the other gangs in your territory and turning a profit, why should Coil bother keeping you there?"

"First of all, I'm totally prepared to squash any troublemakers the second they make themselves known around here."

"Assuming you can find them."

"I can. Second of all, Coil didn't say a thing about turning a profit. He has money. Scads."

"He has his own money. Money that he has to devote time and attention to earning. If your territory never starts earning for him and just becomes some black hole that sucks up tens of thousands of dollars of his money each week, you think he's going to be okay with that?"

"What do you want me to do? That doesn't involve taking protection money or peddling drugs?"

"Those would be your biggest revenue streams."

"I'm taking control like he wanted me to. Faster than the rest of you."

"But you're not leaving yourself in a position to do anything with that control."
Grue, reminding us that he's a cutthroat asshole.

"I'm sorry if I'm being hard on you," Grue settled one hand on the armor of my shoulder.
Yeah, no big, just talking about starving refugees like they're deposits of ore to be mined out.

"Coil said we need to sabotage their efforts, attack their vans, steal their supplies, assault the heroes, bad enough where they'll be scared to even give out supplies."

"He wants US to fight All Might?" I thought about it. Even if I hypothetically didn't like him. Fighting against All Might could be the only thing my life as terrifying as going against the trio. Then again, with All Might speed I doubt I'd have a chance to be afraid.

"He said the chances are good. But he wants us to settle our territories before we go out and attack them."

"And ruin the people's chances of getting supplies, starving them, hurting them, depriving them of essential needs."

"Taylor," He sighed, "we HAVE to do this. Our territories will go into shambles if we fail because to the heroes. We're not asking you to kill any of them, just hurt them badly enough that they won't WANT to give out supplies."
Again, nothing fucked up here. Just talking about starving refugees like they're deposits of ore to mine out, and the heroes are trying to jump your claim.

This... I applaud, really. You're portraying Grue as the person who would decide that letting a preteen girl be turned into a fortune telling machine by a creepy snake man is A-OK with him, as long as the checks keep clearing. Thinking of everything in terms of "I need to make money to do X" and backfilling whatever justification he needs to for that to sound acceptable. Habits instilled by growing up on the margins and scraping for enough money to pay for rent and groceries, hardened and expanded until even attacking aid workers so you can keep using the promise of food to control people is treated as an obvious necessity.

"Pretty much. I'm never going to be able to provide for Aisha if we don't do this, Tattletale, Bitch, and Regent will never make enough money to support themselves if we don't do this, The Travelers won't even have a place to call home, and you'll never save Dinah."

I thought about what he said. "Yeah...you're right...we have to do this. We're still protecting people. If they want protection, they could always come to us, and not rely on the fucking heroes."

"So you're in?"

"yeah...I'm in."
Annnnnnd here we have Taylor, master of mental gymnastics. I can kind of see why they would end up in a relationship, they're both very good at justifying things to themselves. I can also see why that relationship failed to grow past a certain point. Why discuss issues when you can just convince yourself they don't exist?

Shit, this isn't working. They're seeing this in the wrong light. They're acting like I'm going to do something terrible to them. Should I clear it up?

No, maybe this can work. Maybe I can get them to work for me now and inspire loyalty later. No, that was horrible! How could I think like that? Even for a second! I don't want these people to follow only because they think their lives are on the line. Only the worst villain would do that.
I mean, you did kind of stumble into How To Be Teacher 101 there. Being an abusive, controlling spouse to large groups of people is pretty much what being a cult leader is, after all.

Goodbyes

Chapter Twenty-Eight:

The one-pointers ran at me with quickness, I jumped to the side to avoid it, but another one came behind me while I was still rolling. I fired my finger guns, or cannons, or whatever at one two-pointers and pulled on the rope, moving me away from the one-pointers. I attempted to stop myself, but then the two-pointer came toward me while I was rolling. So I jumped while I was rolling, making me roll while in the air, then I fired my finger to pull myself toward it, and froze it..

I jumped off it. There were still three one-pointers left, one two-pointers, and one three-pointer. That makes five, easier than six, but not easy enough to make it simple. This would be hard for the old me…

Not the new me…

I fired my finger guns and wrapped up the three-pointers with the rope. I removed the rope and froze it, keeping the three-pointer in place. The two-pointer ran at me and tried to stab me with the tail, but my finger gun regenerated with the nanobots and fired more finger gun sideways, in front of me, and froze it, stopping the tail with the tangle of frozen rope. I tried to jump back, but the two-pointer grabbed me with its tail and threw me.

Before I could splatter against the wall, I fired my finger guns at the two-pointer, wrapped around it, and slowed myself done. The second before I fell to the ground, I froze the rope, stopping the two-pointers, and stopping myself at the same time.

Three down, three more to go.

The one-pointer ran at me, I aimed my finger at it but it jumped, going over my head.

Not this time. There would probably be one behind me as well. No…focus on the task at hand.

I kept my eyes forward and saw the one-pointer running toward me. I fired my finger gun at it and wrapped up its legs, removed the rope, and froze it. I heard the one behind me, and I backflipped over it and touched the top of the robot, freezing it.

The last robot zigzagged all over the place, trying to avoid my finger guns. My anxiety ripened. What do I do?

Vista walked in, then stopped herself. "Clockblocker! Do you need-"

"No, no. I got this!"

I fired all ten of my finger guns at him, only for him to go to the side and run straight toward me. Not a good look.

Good thing I planned for this.

After all, I didn't freeze the finger guns yet.

I directed my rope in front of the rope and froze it. The robot couldn't react quickly enough, and it ran right into the rope, destroying it for good.

Vista whistled. "Wow, you improved."

I looked at her. "Yes, I did. Thanks to Midoriya."

Vista smiled. A smile with no smugness, only joy. "Those notebooks really helped?"

"Are you kidding?" I said. "I never knew students could be so smart! He's as good as a Thinker 2 or 3!"

"Maybe four?" She asked.

"That might be stretching it," I said. "But maybe in the future..." I paused.

Vista broke the silence. "Did you apologize yet?"

"Yep, and he apologized to me!"

"Well, that's good."

I whipped my head around. "It is? You don't think it's weird?"

"No," she shook her head. "he was a jerk to you too. I'm just glad you guys were able to get along."

"I'm shocked it even happened," I said. "If I only read the book earlier…well, no point angsting over it now."

"Yep, you just have to make it up to him," Vista said. "But something tells me you already did that by saving his life. But that's not up to me to decide."

"It's alright," I said. "I think Midoriya forgave me, anyway."

Vista smiled again, "speaking of which, we should go to the lobby."

"What for?"

"To take them to the airport. It's time to say goodbye."

Later

All the Wards and The Protectorate, along with Piggot, stood facing Class 1-A and the teachers, including All Might. Weld in front of The Wards and Midoriya and Iida in front of Class 1-A. Even Katsuki was there. This was going to be our last time seeing each other. After this, we were going to take them to the plane and never see them again. It… hurts a bit. Knowing I wasn't ever going to see Sero or Midoriya ever again. I really lived Sero, and I was finally respecting and being friends with Midoriya. Now that they were going to live. I wanted anything else to happen.

Besides them being in danger, that is.

"Well, I guess this is it," Midoriya said.

"Yep, it's been a long ride," Weld smiled. "But I'm glad we got through it together."

"I'm going to miss you guys," I said.

"Even Deku?" Ochaco asked.

"Yes, even Midoriya."

Ochaco stood there, mouth agape. But it eventually turned into a smile.

"Thanks, Clock," Sero said.

I stared at him. "For…our talk?"

"For the talk, for you teaching me how to use my powers."

I titled my head. "That wasn't me, I just read Midoriya's notes."

"Either way, you taught me to be more than myself." He said. "I didn't know if I could stand with the best of the best. But now…Thanks Clock. You're going to be a great Protectorate member."

He said Protectorate member…instead of Pro…

Aizawa looked back. "God dammit. Is there a back way out of here?"

"What are you talking abo-" Piggot stopped herself. "Oh…"

Suddenly, news reporters came through the doors of the lobby and began to try to interview the teachers and Protectorate members.

The questions came quickly. "You failed to protect a student?"

"Did you get him back?"

"Did the student perish?"

"How do they know!?" All Might asked.

"There must've been a leak," Piggot said. "Out of here. Now. You get one warning."

"So that's it?" One female news reporter asked. "You failed to keep a student safe and we're in the wrong for asking questions?"

"Who do you think is to blame here?" Aizawa asked. "The Protectorate, or the teachers?"

"We're the ones asking the questions," A older male reporter said. "Besides, we reporters must remain impartial. We just want to know what happened. Is the student in question here?"

"Yes, I am." Midoriya said.

Everyone looked at him, including the reporters.

"Well, young man," The first female reporter asked. "Would you like to answer our questions?"

"Sure!" Midoriya said. He walked with them to the front of the lobby. A little further away from the rest of us.

A blessing in design. I doubt anyone could ignore how he did that to get the reporters away from the adults.

And they didn't. "We'll have to thank Midoriya later," Aizawa said. "Hopefully, he doesn't reveal anything too embarrassing."

"So, have you all learned something?" Weld asked.

"Only that Americans are weird," Tsuyu said.

"We're weird!?" I said. "You guys are the ones with the authority streak!"

"What's weird about that!?" Iida put his arms into a chopping motion again. "We just respect our elders!"

"Obviously, not enough to listen to them when they tell you not to do dangerous missions," Aizawa said.

Iida made a noise. "Uhhhhhh…well, disregarding that, I mean, not to ignore you! I just meant-"

"Iida was only protecting a friend," Weld said. "He would've followed your orders if not for that."

"Right, thank you, Weld."

"I'm surprised you even consider him a friend," Vista said. "According to Ochaco-"

"Uraraka." She corrected.

"Right, Uraraka, a friend in japan means someone you deeply trust,"

"Really?" I said. "Yet another weird thing."

"There's nothing weird about their culture!" Weld said. "Except for the whole 'Ok with sexual harassment thing."

"Hey, we never said we were ok with it!" The creating girl, I think her name was Momo, said.

"We're not like you Americans always putting yourself in business that isn't yours!"

"What!?" Flechette said. "This wasn't even our-"

"I don't mind Skitter."

We all stopped at the phrase. Like we were given an order. Class 1-A cleared a path and we saw Midoriya. Was he the one that said that?

"You…like Skitter?" A black dude reporter asked.

"Hold on," I walked over to them. "He didn't say-"

"I do!"

"WHAT!?" we all shouted.

Midoriya turned to us. "It's…not like I have a crush on her…It's just that…She's helping people because she wants to. Not for money or power, but because she wants to help people. Because she has compassion. I don't fully agree with how she goes about it." He paused. "But you can like someone without agreeing with what they do."

We stood there, silently listening to him.

"If we don't accept people for their differences…well, that's just mean! If the differences don't hurt people, then what's the harm? We're not all like Sop…Shadow Stalker, who hurt people for no reason other than 'just because'. Or have a reason, but it's so piss poor that it doens't even matter."

I wasn't the only one that caught that. Piggot frowned when he said it.

He was going to say Shadow Stalker's real name.

How? Did Skitter tell him? Why? Why would she tell him? Did they both like each other? How would that even happen?

"Not accepting each other differences is how we become bigoted, it's how we ostracize each other and end up with battles like The Great War, Human vs. Pokémon, Gear vs. Omnic, full-scale war, and the planet in danger. We should be ok with each other, and learn our similarities, and accept our differences."

I stood there. Not saying anything, until I turned to The Wards, and back to the Class. "I guess we'll have to…agree to disagree."

"Yeah," Sero agreed. "It's not we like everything about our culture, anyway. It's probably the same for you guys."

"We could always work on our faults," Glory Girl said. "And in the meantime…not be assholes to each other."

Kirishima smiled. "That'd be nice."

"Wait," a female reporter asked. "So you like Skitter? She's taking over the city! How can you justify-"

"That's enough," Aizawa said. "It's time to go. We don't want ot miss our plane."

Later

The air at the airport was chilly. My armor plates were sticking to my body with a coldness I despised. The Wards were watching all of Class 1-A were boarding the plane, but Uraraka and Iida were still waiting for Midoriya. Also, Bakugo was not there, he must be being an idiot somewhere else.

The place wasn't crowded, and the sunset turned into a vivid and colorful picture of Red, orange and purple.

All in all, a good day.

Midoriya scratched the back of his head. "Did I say thanks?"

I smiled. "About a couple dozen times by now."

Vista and Glory Girl chuckled.

"Well, I'm saying it again. Thank you, for saving me."

"Dude, it was nothing. I'd do it again even if I had to patrol Gotham City.

Midoriya laughed. "Yeah, that'd be..pretty…bad?" He looked behind me.

I turned around and saw a civilian walking up to us. A brunette girl with glasses. "Hold on," I said. "We don't have time for autographs."

"I know," She said. "I actually wanted to talk to De…The green-haired kid."

Wait, what was she going to say? "You do?"

"Yep, He saved my life, I want to repay him."

"Deku, who's the girl?" Uraraka asked.

Wait, was she going to say Deku? How does she even know his nickname? Did he tell her?"

"Um…sure, be my guest. We had to leave, anyway." I saluted with two fingers. "Bye Midoriya."

He stared at the brunette. "Oh! Uhhh…bye…Clockblocker."

We walked away. Ready to go back with the Protectorate.

Flechette and Weld started talking about something. But I wasn't paying attention.

Because if I didn't know any better. If I was more paranoid…

I'd say that brunette was Skitter…

The End

Chapter Twenty-Nine:

I felt a whirlwind of emotions I couldn't quite comprehend. But I could at least try to.

On one hand, I felt proud that I saved Deku from Shigaraki. He was this close to killing him. His hand was literally in his throat. But thanks to Tattletale and me, we saved him. I went to throw my fist into the air when Shigaraki got hit by Ballistic's projectile, but I had to conceal it. If I wanted my feelings to stay secret. But it didn't matter, we saved him…

But…

On the other hand, I felt anger at myself for letting it happen in the first place. The whole reason I did this was to prove myself to Coil that I was worthy of being his subordinate. So he would let go of Dinah, or at least stop abusing her. And I let Deku go.

It wasn't like I wanted to hold Deku captive. It was the opposite. But as much as I wanted to let him go, I knew he would be ok after the job was set and done. We'd be richer, and Deku would be safe. We'd have bad blood with the heroes, but besides that, no harm done. But I couldn't say the same for Dinah if we failed. Now she was stuck with Coil abusing her, and there was nothing I could do about it but keep trying.

Obviously, I would, but that's beside the point.

Wasn't the whole reason I tried to hold him at arm's length so I wouldn't get close to him? Why did I spend time with him? I just felt like spending time with him, while making sure he didn't get close to me. Goddamn, it was like all my interests were paradoxical as hell. I felt the same with wanting to spend time with The Undersiders and wanting to turn them in.

But that wasn't the only thing that was paradoxical, because I didn't just feel anger at myself, I felt guilt for even feeling anger at myself. After all, I saved Deku. I really like him. He's my friend. And I wanted to use him as a bargaining chip. It made me feel like crap for even considering it.

But ‌as I said, he would've been fine at the end. If I went along with it, he would've been safe in the end. Right?

Right?

The heroes shouldn't have attacked. And they shouldn't have been able to win. How were they that strong? That smart? Was it just the students? Was it just their training? Were we lesser than them now?

Another thing to worry about.

Where was I? In my base, with the rest of The Undersiders, who were sulking about their loss. I think this was their first loss together. So they weren't exactly…used to it. It's been an hour ‌and everyone was silent.

I instructed all of my workers to stay out of the warehouse, to work on repairing it, and to leave me be. I needed time to think, needed time with The Undersiders. Alone. Even Sierra and Charlotte were absent.

"sooooooooooooo…That stunk." Imp said.

"They were operating at such a higher level," Grue said. "What happened?"

"It was the notebook," Tattletale held her stomach. I think she was still hurt. "One of the students, don't know which one, is a thinker. An intelligence power. He made that notebook."

Notebook? Could that be…

"This is the first time we lost," Regent said. "What do we do now?"

"Don't know," Grue said. "This never happened before. I don't even know if I want to attack the heroes to keep our rep up. They're way more competent now."

"We only lost because Skitter held back." Bitch turned to me.

Oh-no…

"What?" Grue turned to Bitch. "What are you talking about?"

"We lost because Dude Dynamite was there," Tattletale said. "There's no other reason. We would've won if it wasn't for that."

"Yeah, but-"

"Skitter could've beaten everyone there," Tattletale cut Bitch off for a second. "She could've beaten everyone there. The only reason she didn't was because of Bakugo."

"Fucking Bakugo," Imp said. "That guy almost killed Regent. I would've killed him if I wasn't tied up."

Grue crossed his arms. "And if we weren't afraid of him."

Imp sighed.

They were afraid of him? Why? Was he that powerful?

"I assume that's why you didn't attack his friends?" Grue said.

Oh shit…

"Uhhhh…what?" I said.

"You didn't attack his friends. I assume is because you didn't want to face his wrath."

Bitch whipped her head around to look at me. "That's the reason you didn't go all out?"

"I mean…" I had to lie, I couldn't let them know. "Bakugo would've killed me."

"He would've killed you anyway, you idiot!" Bitch said. "If you went all out, you could've won!"

"Shut up!" I said. "You don't get to talk to me like that!"

"It doesn't matter how she's talking to you," Grue pointed. "All that matters is if she's right. You can tell her off for the attitude while admitting she has a point."

What…He really thought that?...

Well…that doesn't mean he's right! I mean, he was rude, and…

And the only reason he hated me was…

Wait, did he really hate me because I was stupid? No, it was because he thought I screwed him over. I mean, he was happy at first, or maybe…satisfied? But…

"Speaking of which, why did you guys help Deku?" Grue asked.

"What do you mean?" Tattletale said.

"Don't play coy. You guys tried to stop Shigaraki from killing Deku."

"Yeah, we tried to protect an asset. You got a problem with that?"

"Did you really think we would still win?" Regent asked.

"All Shigaraki had to do was call his Nomu earlier, so we could escape. It was his fault.:

"Excuse me," I walked away.

"What? Where the hell are you going?" Bitch said. "We're still talking."

"I know, but I have to go. I have to talk to someone."

Later

It wasn't hard figuring out where he lived. Tattletale helped me a lot with that. I even knew his identity, but that was the easy part.

The part where I was supposed to talk to him was going to be the hard part. What should I even say? I didn't plan what I was going to say, mostly because there were so many options. But the thing is, I wanted to say only two things. The thing I was, I wasn't sure I should say one of them. But I had to. I just had to.

I thought about it for a long time, and I knew this had to be done.

I walked there in my civilian identity, with no minions, my costume in a backpack. This was between him and me. Plus, I was already in hot water for knowing Shadow Stalker's secret identity. I can't let them know I know about his identity. So I had to play this carefully.

I got to his house. It was a one-story house. Pretty small, something you expect from a middle-aged man, in a dead-end job. Not one of the top heroes of the city.

Doesn't matter though. I went behind a house and put on my costume, my mask coming last. I went to see nearly each and every window to find him. And eventually finding him. It was hard to tell in the darkness but he looked…skinny? Like he hasn't been eating in days.

I tapped on the window.

Armsmaster turned around. His eyes went wide. He said something and brought a weapon to him, a pocket knife compared to his halberd. He stood there. While I signaled him to open the window so I could talk to him.

He frowned. Obvious incredulous. But he opened the window, regardless. He had dark brown hair and green eyes. Fitting. "Skitter."

"Hello, Colin."

"Don't be coy with me." He seemed annoyed rather than angered. "I know you know who I am. Just spit it out."

"Ok, Armsmaster."

Armsmaster sighed. "What do you want?"

"You shouldn't have done it."

Armsmaster raised an arm just to let it fall. "So that's it? You came just to mock me about my mistakes?"

He was admitting they were mistakes? "You broke the Endbringer Truce, the most sacred thing to any hero. Not only that, but you tried to kill me."

"I'm not proud of it."

"Regardless, it was the stupidest thing you could've done. You killed people."

"Nazis!"

"And you sabotaged our chance of fending off an Endbringer and saving our city."

He didn't have a response.

"Why did it have to be you?"

He scratched the back of his head. "I lost my job. I needed to prove myself."

"That's not a good answer."

Armsmaster sighed. "I know."

"Your attitude is deplorable, your ideas towards hero work are trash. All you had to do was tell me politely and I would've listened…I should've listened."

Armsmaster gave me a look.

"You should've responded better. You should've just calmly told me no. But…that doesn't mean you weren't wrong."

"But?" He said.

"No, but. You were right. And I'm sorry."

Armsmaster looked at his computer, why? What was the point? "Well…if it means anything. I'm sorry too. After all, I tried to kill someone that wanted to be a hero."

I nodded. "Yes, I hope our past relationship doesn't affect too much."

"Neither do I. I think we'd do more good together than separately…Do you…still want to do good?"

"Yes," I said. "I do."

"Do you want me to recommend you to The Wards?" He asked.

"I think I could do more good as a villain."

Armsmaster gave a baffled look. "You're kidding, right?"

"I wish."

Armsmaster pursed his lips. "Ok…so what will you do now?"

"I want to talk to someone. I need to talk to someone."

"Shadow Stalker?"

"No, someone else. The boy that I captured. Izuku Midoriya."

Later

This was the last time I was going to be talking to him. I had to make it count. Because the thing is, I didn't want to be close to him before because I was using him, but that wasn't the case anymore. I almost held him at arm's length because of what I had to do. But I wasn't proud of it. So I wanted to actually wanted to talk to him. Without feeling I was making a great mistake.

I had to come in my civilian identity. There was too great a chance of someone trying to fight me if I came in a costume. It was a good idea too. The Wards were there, and I have to act like a random civilian in order to hide my identity. I think they feel for it too.

I stood face to face with Deku, trying to avoid looking him in the eyes. Probably because of the guilt I was feeling. "Hey, Deku."

"Taylor," Deku stared. I looked down to avoid his gaze. But he put his hand on my chin and raised it. "I'm glad you're here."

For some reason, I couldn't think of anything. Like my mind has blown a fuse. "Um."

Deku's eyes went wide. "Uhhh…just making sure you're looking me in the eyes."

"Kay."

We looked away, then looked at each other, and said. "I wanted to tell you something."

"Ummm…" I said, not knowing if I should keep talking.

"You first," Deku smiled.

I looked away. "Well, I apologized to Armsmaster."

"You did?" Deku said. "Why?"

What? Why did he ask that? "Because I thought about it. And while Armsmaster isn't exactly the best hero, he was a jerk. I could've handled it better. So I apologized."

"Really?" Deku stood there, mouth agape. "Wow, that's so cool! But weird…"

I raised an eyebrow. "Weird how?"

"Because…I told Bakugo off for being a jerk and told him he wasn't as cool as he thinks he is."

"Wow, that's ironic."

"Yeah, pretty much."

We stood there for a bit, silently. Until Deku said. "I guess this is it…"

"Yeah…pretty much."

"We're not going to see each other again after this."

"...yes."

"Oh! I just remembered! Did Coil free Dinah?"

"No. He didn't…"

Deku stood there silently. "Was it…because I escaped."

"No, he wasn't going to free her based on one successful mission."

"But you're hiding something." Dammit. Was it that easy to find out? "Something happened because of me."

"Well, Coil said if the mission was successful, he would stop abusing her, but I failed."

Deku looked dejected. But he quickly got a serious look on her face. "It wasn't your fault. You can blame yourself for a failure."

"Can't I? It's not I can blame you for wanting to save yourself."

"Actually, I wanted to save my friends. No offense!"

"None taken. And I'm sorry. I wanted to end on a more hopeful note than this."

Deku looked down in thought. "Maybe it can."

"What?"

"I can ask All Might to donate to you! If he knew it would help someone that was good, I-I mean, he already likes you! He would love to do that!"

"REALLY!? THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!" I kissed his nose.

I kissed his nose.

Deku stood there, not saying anything. Staring at me silently.

I held my hand in front of my mouth. "Oh, I'm so so…I was just happy! Excited!"

"It was no problem, except you missed."

"What? What are yo-" I was cut off by Deku kissing me on the lips.

I was just about to push him away…

Except I didn't want to.

I didn't mind.

Author Notes: THE SHIP HAD MOTHERFUCKING SAILED, BOYS! This was the whole reason I wanted to write this. It was because I wanted to ship these guys. Hope you enjoy!

This is the last official chapter. The next one is an interlude. From a certain someone perspective. If you've been paying attention, you'll probably know which one. But I'm not saying it yet.

Also, I want to announce what I was planning with this. All fiction is canon to this world, based off of sprite animation and vs. shows like One Minute Melee, or Death Battle. Mostly One Minute Melee. And I'm calling it

THE OMNIPLANET!

It's a shared universe I came up with that I will write in. but not just me, I will encourage other writers to write in it too. All you have to do is email me at TheUltimateWriting and tell me the concept for the story and maybe the first chapter, and I will approve if it sounds good. That's right, you all can write in the world that I have created! As long as you tell people about my writing.

Also, you can't crossover Worm, Rwby, or MHA. I have a plan for them. :)

That's all I had to say. This is Super Ultimate Number One, sighing out. Peace!

Epilogue
Bakugo walked with my hands in his pockets, growling to himself.

Who does Deku think he is?
He thought. Telling me off like that!? I'm better than him! I'm better than everyone else! He has no right to act like he's some hot stuff when he's a bigger loser than even the villains!

When did he get the confidence to even do that?
He thought. After all, He stood up to him before, but he was always scared. You could see him shaking, see the fear in his eyes. This was different. Was it the villains from USJ? Was it The Undersiders? What event taught him not to be afraid?

And even freakin' weirder, why was he so upfront about looking down on him? He was never been that upfront about how he saw him before. Was it because he's not scared of Bakugo anymore? Even that doesn't explain why he hated him now. Not even indifference? Now, Bakugo thought no on should have indifference to him. Especially not Deku. That wasn't the point. The point was he shouldn't have hatred for someone he looks down on. Was there something more to it?

Not to mention, he has All Might's power! Why would he give it to him!? He was more worthy! He was the most worthy! Not to mention, he's the strongest out of their classmates. So obviously, he made the most sense! Why didn't he pick him!?

And he mentioned someone he probably learned from The Undersiders, but when he learned about her, both from Deku and Clockblocker. it intrigued him.

Finally, someone that understands what being a hero is all about. Bakugo thought. But I had to make sure. This was how.

Bakugo stood facing the prison, the place of losers and psychos. Bakugo continued his thoughts. I wondered if she was the same. But I doubt it. It was because of that Hijack guy, or whatever his name was. That was why she was here, so I think it's fine.

he walked up to the gate.

"What's your business, here?" The man with an eyepatch in the box said.

"I want to talk to one inmate."

"Which one?"

he told him which one.

The man talked to someone I couldn't see and then opened the gate. Allowing him to walk through the gate and into the prison.

I walked in. Smelled like smoke and sweat, like a boys' locker room at some crap-ass school. I saw some skinny inmate with yellow teeth talking to an older guy. I saw a big, fat inmate crying while talking to a black woman.

Bakugo walked to my seat. I had to wait for her to show up. It took much of his time, but she eventually came.

Sophia Hess.

She picked up the phone. "What do you want?"

I smiled and picked up the phone to put it to my ear. "Hello, Shadow Stalker."

Her eyes widened. She looked around to see if anyone had heard. Some people did, but they didn't not heard the whole thing, because they glanced their way and just went back to talking.

She glared at me. "How'd you know who I was?"

"I'm a hero in training. A loser told me, who learned from a hero or a villain."

"Wait," she said. "You're the guy that's replacing me?" She seethed.

"Calm down, Idiot! I'm not replacing you. I'm from Class 1-A."

Sophia made a face until her brain got to work. "Oh, I forgot about that. Field trip, right?"

Bakugo nodded.

"Glad I missed it, to be honest. I wasn't looking forward to looking after a bunch of students. I almost wished there was some hint that The Slaughterhouse 9 would show up to avoid it."

"You wouldn't have to look after me," he grinned. "I'm better than most of the pros."

"Based on what?"

He held one hand out and made sparkles.

"Explosion," she said blankly. She leaned in. "I hate explosion users."

Bakugo gritted my teeth. Then smiled. "Why? They kicked your ass?"

"THAT'S-" she stopped herself. "I don't feel particularly feel entitled to tell you."

"Fine, I don't care. I just wanted to know something."

She rolled her eyes. "What?"

"All the other heroes back in your old team didn't know jack about being a hero. It's like all the heroes back in my class, constantly talking about saving people and protecting them. Nothing about what makes a hero."

Sophia made another face. "Get to the point, kid. What really makes a hero?"

He grinned. "Winning,"

Sophia smirked for a second. "Winning?"

"Yes, always winning. Being the strongest. That's what makes a hero. I did have a phase back in junior high where I wanted to be the richest, but that was a phase, and that's irrelevant. What's relevant is being a winner and beating the losers. Winners and losers."

Sophia smirked again. "Predator and prey."

Bakugo gave her a look. "What?"

"Predator and Prey. Those who hurt people and those who get hurt."

Bakugo thought for a moment. "Maybe, almost, villains are losers and they still hurt people."

"That's the point of heroes," Sophia said. "Villains, thugs, and criminal are predators. But they're bad predators. The kind the kill other predators and do unforgivable things to them. It's our job to save them."

"Save?"

"Yes! You…save people, don't you?"

Bakugo felt a flash of rage. "NO! OF COURSE NOT! THE POINT OF BEING A HERO IS WINNING THE FIGHT NOT SAVING THE-"

Sophia shushed him. "Shut up, dipshit! Do you want everyone here to know you're a hero?"

"We don't have secret identities in Japan."

"What? Really?"

"Yes," Bakugo said. "Unless you're a corporate hero."

"Oh, well, that must suck."

"We don't need them. We're stronger than the Americans."

"Strength isn't everything. Sometimes strength isn't enough to protect you." Sophia's voice got quiet.

Bakugo made a noise. "That…that just means you have to get stronger."

"It means you have to protect the people that can't protect themselves."

"How can you call yourself a hero when you're focused on protecting people?"

"Because that's what a hero does!" Sophia said. "Don't get me wrong, I don't care about protecting everyone. I think anyone that's prey can go die in a ditch somewhere."

"Wait, anyone that's prey?"

"Yeah, why?"

That rubbed Bakugo the wrong way. It wasn't like he cared for losers! That would be weakness! But he didn't go too far in dealing with them. Hell, half the time, he didn't even pay attention to them. The only ones he was focused on was Deku and Todoroki, but even t hen he wouldn't want to theme to die. Then how would he prove himself better than them!?

He remembered the time he told Deku to jump off the school, but he was just messin' with him! He didn't expect him to do it!

"Would you…kill anyone you thought was prey?" Bakugo asked.

"Kill? No, probably not." Sophia answered. "I just wouldn't save them."

"Oh, good," Bakugo grinned. "We're too good for them."

She grinned as well. "The best."

They smiled at each other.

They liked this.

Later.

Bakugo walked to the plane, he ditched his team a while back, no one noticed his absences, or were waiting for him. Or maybe they were looking for him. He hoped not. He could look after himself just fine.

He made it to his plane and saw Deku talking to a black-haired girl. She looked familiar from the back, but he didn't recognize her face.

When he got close enough, he heard what they were talking about.

"Stay safe, Taylor." Deku said.

"Don't worry, I will," she said. "I always adapt to a situation."

"I think we actually do better fighting by the seat of our pants rather than anything else."

They both laughed at that.

What's going on here? Bakugo thought. He stood back, listening to them speak.

Taylor smiled. "I'm glad I didn't do a lot today. I didn't want to use up all my hours I'm content with."

Deku eyes widened. "You're…only content for a few hours?"

She nodded. "Two at the least, four at most. I think I'm running close to four."

"Awww, that sucks." Deku said. "Those girls that did that to you should pay. Maybe-"

"If you suggest I get revenge, I'm going to slap you on the head."

Deku laughed. "Ok, sorry about that."

Who was this girl? Bakugo thought. Her voice sounds familiar. But who is she?

Taylor blushed. "You'll stay alive too, right? I would love to talk more with you about heroes and drawing."

"Yeah, we could trade more frustration about drawing eyes."

"That'd be nice. It's too bad you like drawing hands. We could've bonded over that as well." Taylor said.

"Don't worry, young padawan," Deku said. "We will get along over our mutual hatred of noses."

Taylor shoved him. "Shut up."

Deku smiled. "Fine, but don't worry, I'll stay safe. I have All Might's power after all."

Bakugo's eyes widened.

Deku activated his power.

"Wow, you have lighting around your arm when you activate your power."

"Wow," Deku said. "I guess I do."

Taylor smiled. "My little lightning-"

"HEY!!" Bakugo said.

Deku and Taylor whipped their heads around to look at Bakugo.

"Kacchan!" Deku said. "How-how much of that did you hear?"

"Enough," Bakugo walked towards Deku.

Taylor got in between them. "Leave him alone, Kacchan."

Bakugo gritted his teeth. "This isn't between me and you. It's between him and me!"

Deku frowned. "This isn't any of your business, Kacchan."

"You telling All Might's secret to some random girl!? That is exactly my business!"

"Our entire class knows, and they know because of you."

Bakugo was taken back. He was blaming me, for what the villains did!?

"Someone else knowing the secret isn't going to make a difference." He said.

"And why does she know?" Bakugo growled.

"Skitter told me." Taylor said.

Bakugo looked at Taylor.

Taylor looked pensively. Then said. "I work for Skitter."

"Really?" Bakugo growled again.

"But she already knows, so no harm done."

Bakugo glared at her. He knew what was the truth, but he didn't have anything to stand on. "Fine, come on nerd, we gotta go to our plane."

Deku rolled his eyes. "Ok, fine." They walked away.

"Bye Deku!" Taylor said.

Deku smiled. "Bye Taylor."

Bakugo simply scoffed.

They made it on the plane.

"Daaaaaaammmmmnn, Midoriya's got game!" Kaminari said.

Deku yelped. "You all saw that?"

"Of course we did, Midoriya," Iida said. "You were right next to the plane."

"She's cute, Deku!" Uraraka said. "What's her name?"

"Ummmm…Taylor."

"You could do better," Mineta said. "She's got no meat on her."

"Shut up, Mineta!" Deku said.

"Yeah, no one wants to hear your delusion, Grape boy," Mina said. "I think she looks awesome, Midoriya."

Deku scratched the back of his head. "Thanks, I-"

Bakugo didn't listen. He didn't particularly care for it.

He was paying attention to something else.

There was no way that it was a coincidence, black hair, knows All Might's secret, cares about Deku!?

It was obvious…

Deku was dating a supervillain.

Author Notes: Here it is! The last chapter. Remember, this is a part of a bigger world that you're free to play with. Have fun playing with it! Go wild!
Also, I feel the need to clarify something You're free to make RWBY, Worm and MHA fanfiction in this world. But they can't crossover together. for...reasons...
I also have another announcement! Here it is!
...

The building was on fucking fire, and it was totally my fault. What? You got a problem with that, shit-fucker?

I'm awesome. I'm great. I'm better than everyone else. I have the right to treat people however I want.

It's not like it's my fault I'm better than you. I'm just talented, hard-working, and absolutely competent. I'm the best. I can draw, I can hoverboard, I can dance, I can make tech, I can fight. I can do basically anything. I even have superpowers! Pretty awesome, right? I have the whole Spider-Man package: Super-Strength, Super-Speed, Super-Durability, and Super-Regeneration.

Well, Spider-Man just has enhanced healing. I think. I can't bother remembering everything about the 50 million comic characters. Or anyone, really. Why would I? I'm more interesting than everyone else. Everyone should attempt to figure out things about me! Like, my favorite comics are those from The Golden Age, or my favorite foods are apples, or the fact that won my science fair 5 years in a row. These are all more extraordinary things than everyone else. Why wouldn't someone be obsessed with me? It's me.

That reminds me of something, a time when I-

"Ultimate!" My A.I, Matilda, said. "Are you going to save those people or not?"

Oh right. My time is due!
...
That's right, my web novel is out over on TheUltimateWriting.com! I will upload it on the same schedule as Lightning Bug. Tuesdays and Saturdays. So keep checking in my site for that. I'll also be uploading my scripts for Ultimate.

That's all I had to say. This is Super Ultimate Number One, signing out. Peace!
