For those that think people knowing about the supernatural would lead to the Masquerade breaking down;
I can legitimately believe this...

Growing up in Singapore in the late 70s early 80s, there are things you just don't do... you pray to your ancestors, you did not walk under that tree in the dark (you know which one), you don't go into the woods in the dark unless you're like part of the army... and you know... you were NOT alone... little things.

Mind you, things got cleaned up and modernized... and alot of those old haunts are just gone now. Supernatural defeated by the modern.

With all the Kapre, Dwende, Nuno, Tikbalangs, and what not here in the Philippines, man of science and reason I may be, but I make sure to be polite, respectful, and avoidant whenever I pass by mounds, Balete trees, and all other places old people say to avoid.

Civility costs nothing, and I'd rather not have a repeat of being brought to witch doctors for healing unexplained incurable maladies. Spending one week in high fever with puking out everything I ate was enough, thank you very much.

Eh, people have overactive pattern recognition.

Well, I say 'Overactive', but back in the day when traveling through the wrong parts of the jungle meant getting killed and eaten by lions and tigers and bears (oh my), it was probably better off to err on the side of 'Liable to see dangers that aren't there' instead of 'Liable not to see dangers that are there'.

I'd be willing to bet that that road with the fairy stone buried underneath it doesn't actually have more accidents than other, similar roads- People just noticed the accidents more, because of that one unusual feature.

That's for our world, but what about in WoD?

The White Howlers were Picts, right?

Can this info be used for anything, or does it change anything?
No idea, but it's still interesting information.

Also, I would really enjoy more things like this to show up in games.

I love Vampire: The Masquerade 1e. It has a certain magic to it that I can't fully describe or quantify, but I love it.

The lack of metaplot, the old-school 1990's setting, the elegant yet gritty simplicity of it all, and the fact that the World of Darkness hadn't fully defined itself and became over-crowded yet all make 1e my favorite edition of Vampire.

I've been reading a lot of 1e books for VTM, such as the 1E Corebook, Chicago By Night 1e, and Alien Hunger, and I sort of want to write a fanfic in the style of those early VTM books. I even considered doing a Final Fantasy XV/Vampire: The Masquerade AU/Fusion Fic crossover where Noctis, Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus are all vampires in a coterie of Anarchs. It would also be a period piece set in the 90's.

Paulie. Theres a thing called Rule 0. We gst it. Let it go.

If you want to doscuss a settings hack you can, just dont go on your rants about the metaplot.

The funny thing about this statement is that the WoD games all-but-explicitly did not take place in the same setting, even if there were similar elements. It wasn't a comic book, where the X-Men were the same whether you were reading an X-Men comic or an Avengers comic or a Spider-Man comic. The primacy of setting elements was explicitly skewed. There were a few things which happened the same way in all three worlds-the Week of Nightmares, Samuel Fucking Haight, etc, but the Big Three all had more or less separate settings. The lesser lines (Wraith, Mummy, Changeling, etc) were rare enough that you could probably slot them in as-desired.

Which is why Pentex and the Camarilla and the Technocracy can all simultaneously run the world. They run the world in different settings. You could run a Combined WoD but there was a reason the crossover rules were generally delegated to appendices and it wasn't set up like the nWoD or Exalted. Kitchen Sink oWoD was generally not a desired nor heavily supported game, especially because intrasplat balance was ultra fucked compared to intersplat balance, which was already fucked.

Delirium? Gone. Totally. The closest thing to a saving grace is that those previously effected have to be actively reminded to recall what was forgotten or rationalized away. Other forms of magical concealment or misdirection work (although anything with serious Wyrm Taint may feel 'off' enough to notice), but while mundane self-preservation means normal humans will scatter before a pack of Garou in full War Form smashing in... beyond the usual issues with eyewitness reliability they will remember the reality quite well.

Ramifications?
Technocracy has more workload covering up more things?

You know paulie. If you don't like the current wod, old or new, because of what you describe as being goth and angsty why don't you play Beast? You get to beat up goths and take their money. Not one bit of angst, in fact you enjoy every moment of being a bastard coated bastard(if that's what you want at least). :V

Plenty of World of Darkness material assumes the crossover setting.
Surprising crossover heavy for ostensibly mortal focused book.
Mortal focused books usually focus on encountering two splats.
Inquisition focuses mostly on Vampires and Mages.
Arcanum focuses mostly on Vampires and Mages.
Project Twilight focuses mostly on Vampires and Werewolves.
Meanwhile in World of Darkness: Mafia we have Mafia Hunters, Mafia Vampires, Mafia Werewolves, and even Mafia Ghosts? :o
I would argue a stack of Reckoning assumes crossover oWoD?
Imbued fighting Technocracy/Pentex/Camarilla isn't unreasonable based on what Hunter books you have?

Based on your preferences I am going to recommend Succubus Club.
If you've already read Succubus Club going to recommend Succubus Club 2 instead.
Can't get more 1990's vampire filled with incredible 90's-isms of maximum 199x setting.

Chaos Theory and Week of Nightmares and that's it. Other things have the same names but simply because there's a group called the Technocracy or the Traditions in Werewolf doesn't mean that werewolf magi are mage magi. In Werewolf, the wolves are right, the Triat are supreme, which is why Stargazers, for example, can actually forgive a mage's Paradox, because Gaia and the Wyld can do that in Wolf but lol if you think that's a thing you can do in Mage.

Sure, there might be a Technocracy in Vampire but they're just a bunch of guys with high-tech and nuclear weapons, not reality-warping wizards responsible for all modernity. There's only a small handful of crossover-crossovers for that reason-the names are the same but different splats have different primacies.

Hunter is a B-tier splat. It doesn't exist on the same level of narrative importance as the A-tier splats (Wolf/Mage/Vamp) and thus it gets to play unchanged in all three playgrounds because in all cases they're a bit player.
