SayakaQuest: Trauma is a Thing

Well it's either Homura or Kyoko (probably Kyoko). If either of them wanted to talk we'd likely already be talking and if they don't want to talk they could easily prevent Sayaka from closing with them, so:

[x] Don't investigate for now, but look straight at them so that they know they were noticed.
[x] Talk to Madoka some more. Bring up that Kyuubey has been suppressing some information, like the life-span thing. Maybe it's just because he doesn't see the importance to us, but that means we need to be more specific in our questions.

So how are we doing for grief seeds? Two partially used? Sayaka seems to chew through magic awfully quick, or has low capacity or both.
 
So. Ideas on how to not die later.

Experiment with Sayaka's Abilities:

- Swords, Change Size? Dual Wield? Shoot them like Gilgamesh? Get Creative.
- Costume, Enhance Durability? Remove Cape? Create Pockets/Storage Space?
- Magic, Reduce Pain? Speed up Healing Speed? Experiment with Platforms.
- OCP Solutions, Bombs? Mundane Weapons? Storage Space for them? Actual Training/Book learning?

Deal With Sayaka's Mental Issues:

- Keep Soul Gem Clensed to prevent Downward Spiral
- Look on Bright Side of Lich Reveal if that happens.
- Deal with crush on Kyoskue / Hitomi confessing to him.
- Remember Poor Communication Kills
 
If Hitomi Kyousuke situation arises, probably insane idea.
Offer to share him.
Or confess to him at same time and let him choose.

To be fair, Sayaka is very affectionate and touchy with her friends and has no sense of personal space.

This is kind of a weird moment to do so, though.

    Your gaze lingers on her for an extra second, and the silhouette seems to flinch, like it's surprised that you notice it. It quickly retreats, as you just sigh and start talking to Madoka.

    [x] Talk to Madoka some more.

    "Wanna hang out back at your house?" You ask.

    Madoka shrugs. "Actually, I need to do some homework. You're welcome to help out!"

    You make a face. On one hand...homework. On the other, helping Madoka might be helpful...of course, then there's the matter of being a magical girl.

    You feel a little guilty about not telling her about how close you got to dying, but frankly she's better off not knowing that.

    ...But that might be what the furry little cat-thingy might be thinking.

    "Actually, that's something."

    "Hm?"

    "What else might Kyubey be hiding? I mean, he didn't tell us about the life expectancy. There has to be something else that he's hiding."

    "Honestly, it makes me worried." Madoka looks at you. "Are you sure that you'll be alright?"

    You smile. "I'll be fine! I'm Sayaka Miki!"

    She seems to have a blank look that says "That's exactly why I'm worried."

    "Stop looking at me like that." You stick your tongue out, and she just giggles.

    You reaaaaaaaaaaally don't want to, but you decide to go do it anyway. "Okay, I've decided."

    "You're gonna do homework with me?"

    "Yeah." You smile. "I mean, no harm in that! I'll just let my mom know." You take your phone out, and on the other end, a sleepy voice answers.

    "Nanrngngh..." You hear her mutter. "Sayaka?"

    "Did you get my note?"

    There's a grunt of affirmation on the other end.

    "Alright. Well, I'm going to Madoka's to study tonight."

    "Goddit." You hear your mom yawn. "Sorry, It's...the bossman wanted me to stay late again."

    You nod. "That's okay, mom. Just sleep, okay?"

    She laughs on the other end. "Hey, stop bossin' me around. That's my job." She sighs. "See you later, then. Tomorrow-ish, maybe."

    "Alright." You hang up and sigh. "She's tired."

    "All-night shift?" Madoka asks.

    "Yeah. Another one." You frown. "Kinda been hard for her."

    Madoka just nodded. "Well, we'll get to my house, then. Shouldn't be too long."

    And it isn't. You're at Madoka's in about five minutes, and it's then that you start panicking because you didn't bring your bag...only to realize that you can just do this stuff online.

    You know, it has always been my head-canon that the whole violinist thing was a horrifying misunderstanding. Just hear me out.

    Hitomi (the green headed girl) never really liked Kyousuke. But, she knew how fucking big of a crush did Sayaka have, and decided to run interference. Cue the ultimatum.

    When she met Kyousuke at the evening? It was to tell the clueless bastard just what he was missing on. If only Sayaka stood a little bit closer...

    The most fucked up part? Remember this "forbidden love" quip? All this time, Hitomi actually loved Sayaka.

    In a nut shell? What Hitomi saw from her point of view - helping the love of her life to achieve HER love, only to drive her to suicide.

    Puella Magi Madoka Magica. To look deeper, and suffer for it.
     
    It's Kyoko. Sayaka actually noticed her spying, and Sayaka's already taken out one Witch.

    Kyoko was probably spying on Sayaka for some time in canon before the alley confrontation, during which Sayaka pretty much just faffed about killing Familiars and never once noticed Kyoko. Here, she's killed a Witch with only a minor injury (not bad for a rookie), isn't chasing Familiars, and actually caught Kyoko in the act, yet doesn't seem all that concerned. Kyoko's likely to be a lot more cautious and avoid physical confrontation if possible- she's probably making contact to try to scare her off "verbally."

    You decide to just do that. Considering your age, you're studying some pretty tough stuff. Right now, you're actually going over physics that would normally just be covered by high school students. Then again, it's not really a surprise. Your school is exceptionally fancy for a reason, and it's not just because of the city's ridiculous funding.

    'I heard you.'

    The voice on the other end is silent.

    'What, not gonna talk to me?'

    Still silent.

    'Fine, then.' You sigh, and Madoka just looks at you strangely.

    "What was that about?"

    "Nothing. Now...what exactly was that thing involving that Mephisto guy about?"

    "You're talking about the story of Faust, right?" Madoka tilts her head. "Isn't that not supposed to be done until next month?"

    "Yeah, well..." You rub the back of your head. "Can't be too careful! I don't want to mess it up!"

    "You just want to avoid Algebra, don't you?"

    You pause. "Uh...no."

    Madoka sighs. "You're so close to failing it! Shouldn't we be going over that?"

    "I don't wanna! It's a hard class! Don't judge me!"
