    The same shoulder you just healed a few minutes ago. You cringe at the contact, and she looks at you. "Are you alright?"

    "Fine!" You say. "So...where did you want to go?"

    Madoka shrugs. "I don't know. Where do you feel like going? You were the one who just fought a witch."

    You blush at the complement. "Well, I don't know about that. I mean...it was kinda cool." You smirk. 'Why can't I shake that feeling of dread, though?'

    • Obviously, the dice were trying their hardest to try and kill us in Asuka Quest so when that failed they got pissed because we got no deaths and decided to try killing us again in this Quest.

    Madoka frowns. "Sayaka, she-"

    "Don't rationalize it." You say quickly. "It's her fault." You cross your arms. You feel a little bit angry. Make that very angry.

    Also medium-term planning: Sayaka reacted a little badly to the revelations about how the Soul Gems really work in canon. Can that be somehow mitigated or channeled into something more useful than going berserk and getting herself killed?

    Also, in canon, Mami can enchant Sayaka's bat to have some barrier making properties, and Kyoko can enchant the binoculars when she's stalking Sayaka to see better.
    Any idea whether it's a thing in common with Meguca or it's unique?

    You freeze. "...What?"

    "Mami thought Homura was going to interfere." Madoka says, softly. "So she locked her up." She gulped. "I...I saw it happen."

    "No. Nonono..." You turn around in disbelief. "So you're t-telling me that...?"

    "Homura wanted to help, but Mami stopped her." Madoka says.

    "I don't believe you." You say. "No, Mami couldn't have screwed up like that. She couldn't-!"

    "But she did, Sayaka!" Madoka shouted. "Homura isn't that bad a person! Just listen to me!"
