Since the omake about Nemo scouting for arrancar candidates is canon I guess we can give it the standard sales pitch?

This also goes over Barragan's authority to Aizen's directly. So I guess we can get away with going beyond the scope of our mission here.

[X]Hide yourself in the vat containing the King's meal. It is literally heading into the wolf's den while dressed as dinner, but you will certainly have the advantage of surprise.

Our knuckle sandwich will be a meal fit for a king, but he'll have to be careful not to bite off more than he can chew.

:V

That could work too.

Gaining an ally would be my personal preference since we can technically appeal to a higher authority in this case.

Also since Barragan will likely have a dim view of the new guy for having usurped his crown...we can be miserable together.

I don't see Aizen going for it but who knows what the flying ■■■■ Aizen is thinking anyway I give 50 to 50 odds he saw this coming or planned it.

That man is scary and anger inducing all at the same time
On to other topics maybe we could ask Omicron if it's possible to try to recruit the Butcher do we even have charisma?

I don't think we should try recruiting anyone. We should follow orders and seek success in our missions, but being proactive and making any kind of name for ourselves should be put on hold. Staying under the radar minimises the amount of missions we'll get sent on, giving us more time to train and do our own thing.

I agree, too early to try for any sort of following.

Missions are their own sort of training and I always have liked the trial by fire approach to things. We could at least try the peacefull solution like mention to the king that barragan is still alive and really wants his hat back and at a later date broach the subject of being a arrancar.

We will, of course, start this conversation while still in their food jar.

And stay in there the entire time.

And then grab the lid when we're done talking, and close the jar, then phase through the bottom so it looks like we just disappeared.

Causing every hollow there to wonder if that really happened
OR we jump down from the ceiling like a bat and scare the ■■■■ out of them and then talk to them

The best way of roping someone into a sucker's deal is to keep them confused and off balance.

...and a collective madness becomes the truth.

Our character is not like Makoto or other hot-blooded fighters. While missions are indeed a sort of training, outright choosing them for the purpose of getting stronger to me isn't something that Nemo is really about, and it's a sub-optimal kind of training.

You're forgetting that many of Barragan's Fracciones have already been sent to retrieve the crown and they're all dead. This creature is not one open to negotiations, and Nemo doesn't seem like she'd be a great diplomat anyway.

Besides, what do we have to gain from making anyone an arrancar?

We crawl into his stomach and kill him from the inside.
It's a hollow. Getting eaten by one should be avoided.

"You know I just love how we could have this civil conversation" Nemo says at the bound king as there is a literally mountain of unconscious hollows under her "Now I want to make you a little deal" the king started to whimper at her grin

If there were any actual deaths among the Fracciones it's because Barragan killed them for failing. Probably not actually since the reason he chose a no account like Nemo to go this time is exactly because she's perfectly disposable unlike his more useful minions.

As for why create another Arrancar...more diversity in Los Noches, an ally, and possibly a friend? Nemo's sort of lonely.

I see them as more of an asset like we don't immediately turn them but use them to gain a power base away from Aizen and his merry band of crazy powerful insane asylum escapees.

I'm thinking...

[X] Sneak back out safely, then run up from a distance, yelling for help, pretending that Barragan himself is chasing you.

I don't think we should pick someone called the "Butcher King" as our friend and ally, especially considering he held power over many hollows and would be superior to us due to artificial arrancarisation.

I agree we should make friends, but doing so from the ranks of artificial arrancars is probably not going to work out too well. We should instead search through the ranks of the natural arrancars. Esmerelda is a good place to start.

Barragan would be noticed long before we came into view.

No that's where the fun comes in we turn them into an arrancar like we were, no one else must know of them to make sure barragan doesn't kill us
