Stop: SO HERE WE ARE AGAIN AGAIN
so here we are again again
Ehhh, different preferences I guess.

NOPE - STRYPGIA
I can do Roman Rvles for some artists. Kubo's Luppi doesn't do it for me. Locon's stuff works fine tho.

Trap is a slur we don't allow on SV. Yes, it's a slur, yes, it's been prohibited here for literally years now, and it's even specifically used in the rules as an example. We've had Staff and regular posters have that screamed at them IRL as an insult and worse, so it's not just a fluffy anime term because it's used that way on some sites or forums.

I'm just going to reuse the words one of our directors used in a similar case a while ago: The term isn't a mystery. A lot of the trans people we have on SV are themselves otaku and familiar with the term, the character type it refers to and so on. It's not some mystery that they, or us for that matter, had never encountered before.

Moreover because we are familiar with the term we can say that the idea that it's not a bad term is somewhat naïve. Even setting aside that it's a gay panic joke where the gay panic has subsided somewhat, the character type itself - the otoko no ko - is very often used in pornography that sexualizes young boys or is pretty much rape. It's not all Juns and Totsukas. Moreover, it is not uncommon for transwomen to be treated like they're actually crossdressing men who catch men in insidious gay sex traps, so they're understandably sensitive about this. Considering the inherently negative connotation in the word 'trap', its origins as a gay panic joke, and the concerns of a significant portion of our userbase, we don't allow the word to be used.

So with that all in mind: Crossy, 25 points and 3 days out for just dropping 'traps' in here when it's literally in the rules as an example of 'don't use this'. NN is not a quest that needs this dropped into it, either.

Now, everyone back to the cute ghost moth and friends, please.

Well that happened...so anyone else curious why Aaroniero has two heads floating in a helmet full of something instead of the not horrifying normal faces of everyone else? If it was explained I can't find it anywhere.

To represent that as a Gillian he really doesn't have a dominant personality so much as a gestalt, even if he's good at faking it?

So something that is interesting to note is that the change with how the split Primera operates does lead to Stark having a weakness: if Lilynette is killed (in the case that either could survive the other dying anyways) you can probably kill Stark by just outlasting him without the generator to refill the battery.

Something to keep in mind if we ever deploy with Lilynette.

I always thought that if a Gillian arrancarized themselves, a single personality would be forced into existence...

On the other hand if Stark is killed, Lilynette without an outlet goes supersaiyan?

He's a hollow whose special ability is to steal the special abilities of stuff he eats.

I figure that, at some point, he ate a hollow whose special ability was to possess anybody who tried to eat it, or something, and they went all feedback-loop and developed multiple personalities. Possibly the same hollow that was body-hopping between Kaien Shiba and the other shinigami.

Then, when mask-breaking happened, because of the split personalities he turned out super-weird.

Killing either Starrk or Lilynette in hopes of weakening the pair is not a very good idea. I mean, if you're acting as a sacrificial pawn whose goal is to see the pair die regardless of your own life, maybe. But if you're actually thinking of it as a clever strategy to beat them, you're most setting yourself up for the classic shounen moment of a doomed character getting their Last Stand Powerup and going out in a blaze of glory for which you'll serve as kindling.

Super Saiyan God Saiyan Gold Lilynette pls thx

Well, if your end goal is to kill Starrk, killing them one at a time makes as much sense as anything.

If your end goal is not specifically to kill Starrk, and yet you've managed to make "kill the strongest Vasto Lorde ever" one of the intermediate steps of your grand scheme, well, I have serious questions about the quality of your scheming.

Like, killing Starrk is hard, and it's very likely that when you try, he'll just kill you right back, possibly by accident. You have to work pretty hard to find a plan in which fighting Starrk is less difficult than finding a way to avoid fighting Starrk. Especially since the canon way to avoid fighting Starrk is to politely ask if there's any way you could just settle this peacefully.

Honestly I was more thinking that if we're ever deployed alongside Lilynette with Stark fighting elsewhere keeping her alive is a good idea to keepStark alive and fighting with our forces.

Or basically if you know where one of your best fighters weak spot is - don't let the enemy get to it if you can prevent it in any way.

well, I'm sure aizen would never base a plan around exploiting that.

I think that hollow's name was Metanoia? I know his power was to possess people via his tentacles (and also to dispel Zanpakuto with them), so if Aaronerio touched those in the process of eating him, that would work out.
